Terrie flinched, her muscles going stiff. He was angry! She bit down hard on her lip, barely realizing what he was saying. "You- what?" Her eyes widened hopefully. "I'm okay. Really. You didn't let-" His kiss stopped any more words from coming and her stiff muscles melted away. With a yelp, she flung herself at him, throwing her arms around his neck and burying her face against his chest, crying with relief. "Of course I do!" She stammered between gasps of air.

Pulling Terrie close Emris chuckled, "I guess we don't have to worry about the house then..." He murmured nuzzling her silky hair which smelled so wonderful to him. He wanted this moment to last forever but noises upstairs reminded him that this wasn't the same situation as it had been that day in the forest.
"I think..." He whispered with a small grin, "That we better remember to bring those jars upstairs when we return." For now though the foxtaur just held Terrie close.

Terrie wiped her eyes and sighed softly. "It was such a pretty spot... We could put something else there, right?" She blinked at a few more tears and looked up at Emris. "Like maybe... something for the children?" At his mention of the jars, she laughed and shook her head. "Yes, we should. They probably think we're taking too long as it is right now." She leaned into Emris happily, the relief making her feel light as air.

Emris chuckled, "Yes, yes we can do something with that come spring. What ever you want, Terrie." He nuzzled her again and laughed, "But I mean if the idea of you living here instead of there is so saddening..." He joked softly.
"Ah, who cares what they think." Emris replied with a grin, "Xennek and Yuna are going to get me later, I already know that one."

Terrie smirked and tucked her head under Emris' chin. "As long as I'm with you, I don't care where we're living." She giggled and poked his chest. "I might care. And what are they gonna think if they have to come looking for us and find us just sitting down here?" She said, her eyes with a playful shine to them as she kissed his neck.

A shiver went up Emris's spine as he kissed Terrie's neck in return and trailed slow kisses down around her collar bone until he rested his head at the base of her neck. "You don't act like you care." He murmured playfully as he nuzzled her.
His tail twitched behind him and he listened intently to make sure that no one was approaching the cellar just yet. Emris sighed relieved that there wasn't any noise just yet. Maybe they'd have a couple of more minutes together before someone came to yell at them to come back up for food.

Her neck arched slightly, taking every pleasure she could from the kisses. "My ability to care about anyone else at this moment is rapidly fading." She breathed, her hands running up and down his chest and arms. Inside, she knew that she would care if they were caught. But alone with Emris, that care was pushed off to the side only to be brought up in later considerations.

"Good..." Emris joked softly as he burrowed his nose into her hair and breathed in Terrie's scent. But he pulled back with a small sigh and shook his head, "Private time up." He sighed and gave a small pouting face as he stood back up and helped Terrie up by the time Yuna peered down the steps.
"If you guys aren't busy doing anything..." She joked with a small smile, "We'd like to have you come up and eat with us and don't forget the jam please?" With that she disappeared from sight and Emris listened to the sounds of her pawsteps as she went back to the kitchen.

"Really?" Terrie asked, sticking out her lower lip. She looked up at Yuna and waved. "Just me being clumsy." She said before turning to the shelves. "Lets see..." She grabbed a small jar of the peach jam and turned to Emris triumphantly, giving him a soft kiss. "Up we go."

Chuckling softly Emris nodded, "Up we go...but you first." He grinned before mischievously adding, "That way I can cushion any fall you may decide to take." With that he gently nudged her towards the steps. He himself was careful to watch his step. After all it'd be embarrassing for him to fall now after all he had said.

Blushing with embarassment, Terrie made her way carefully up the stairs, reaching the top without any further incident. "All right! Hare stew, bread and peach jelly. We're good." She exclaimed happily. She knew eveything would be okay now, and her spirit was floating up in the sun with the clouds. Smiling brightly, she ushered Xennek and Yuna to sit at the table. "We can finish this up. It looks like it needs to cook just a bit longer, so you two can relax."

"Yes, yes." Emris joked with a bright smile, "Relax dears and we your wonderful servers shall have everything fixed up for you." He brushed past Terrie and chuckled, "I better get a good tip from this one."
"Hah, hah." Xennek shook his head and set to cleaning his dagger while he waited on the food.
"Relax?" Yuna giggled and pointed at her father, "That's all he's been doing ever since he came in through the door." She playfully smacked at her father and smiled brightly at Terrie as if she'd figured something out.

"I'll give you a good tip later." She whispered to Emris with a playful wink before speaking louder. "Your tip will be that when you go to visit them, they'll greet you with open arms and serve you graciously." She laughed, grinning at Xennek in particular. She pulled out the bowls and spoons, setting them around the table, briefly wondering why Yuna seemed so happy.

"Ah, yes." Xennek chuckled with a wide grin, "We'll serve ya graciously should ya come ata gracious time." He slowly twirled the spoon on the table as he spoke.
"Oh, behave you." Replied Yuna with a small smile, "We'd always welcome you...both of you." She blinked her colorless eyes at Terrie while she spoke. "You guys sure you don't want us to help with anything?"
Still faintly blushing from Terrie's comment, Emris shook his head. "No, it's okay. We've got it, Yuna." He patted her shoulder, "No worries, kay?"
"No worries." Repeated the teen with a small smile as she closed her eyes and casually leaned back.

Terrie turned and shoke her finger at Xennek. "You heard your daughter. And if you don't act gracious, I'll be forced to whack you with a large spoon." She said threateningly, though the glitter never left her eyes. "You keep that in mind." Stirring the soup, she nodded and started to pull the pot out, nearly dropping it at the unexpected weight. "Not used to making extra food." She giggled, setting it back on it's hook and giving Emris a bashful I-need-help-with-this look.
