Emi stepped back, and let Rikou take over the fight. He was better suited for actual battle situations, anyway. The Nara techniques were mostly used to detain and distract the enemy. Someone like Mai, who knew most of Emi's techniques, could easily keep from being captured by them. The techniques Emi had learned from her mother were more useful, but she wasn't quite as adept at those.
Not to mention, with the multiple burns she had collected, she wasn't going to hold out much longer without medical assistance.
I have to get everyone out of here. I can serve as backup for Rikou when I'm done with that.
She glanced quickly around the room, noting that many of the people still hadn't left. Many of them were genin, and had no idea what was going on. Emi decided to take care of them, first.
"Everyone, get out of here! We're under attack from an Akatsuki agent! Find Naruto-sama, and tell him immediately!" She grabbed one of the genin by the wrist, and shoved her towards the door. The girls teammates caught on, and followed.
Noting a pause in the battle next to her, Emi glanced over. Sasuke Uchiha? What is he doing here? And how did he get here so fast?

In a flash, the male Uchiha had his daughter pinned down.
"Emi, get everyone out of here, quickly." He said, his gaze set on her, before he turned it to Rikou, who still had the dragon unleashed.
"Rikou, restore your chakra. Mai has lost all control." Sasuke warned him, and was suggesting he took the second food pill he had.
Mai struggled beneath him.
"Aww, daddy, let me go~! I'll play nice~!!! Promise..." Mai whined childishly.
By daybreak I'll be gone,

Hana heard her teammate call for her to slow down, and shook her head. "I want to get there as soon as possible!" She yelled back.
Reaching the tower, she skidded to a stop. The main door was open, and people were pouring out, most of them looking terrified. What the...?
She ran up to the door to investigate, pushing through people heading the other way.

"Hai!" Emi nodded, and grabbed another group of genin, directing them towards the door. She wanted to ask what was going on, but there was no time for that. Sasuke-sama and Rikou-kun should be able to take care of Mai on their own; it was Emi's job to get everyone else out of harm's way.
"Oi! Everyone, listen to me now! If you can move on your own, get out of here! If your teammates are injured, help them. But get out!"
One girl had been knocked unconscious at some point, Emi had no clue how. She picked up the girl, and ran with her to the door. There she saw Hana Yamanaka peeking inside, looking shocked and confused.
"Hey, take this girl, will ya? Thanks!" She handed the genin to the older girl, and sped back into the room to help the rest.

"Otou-san!" Ibaraki shouted, jumping over to the older man to help hold his sister down. He had tried turning her into a target, and tried stunning her, but he wasn't strong enough to take down his family. So he waited for orders from his father.
"Is anyone else on their way?"
"Now can I stab her?" Kiku asked, thoruoughly annoyed at the situation. She may not have liked Konoha and her family, but she did love them. Strange thought, but it was still how she felt.
And while she didn't really agree with her family on anything, even though they were loud and annoying, she couldn't allow anyone to help those who wished death upon her father.

"Yes. Sakura and the rest of her medical team are coming for the injured. The Hokage won't be coming, because it isn't necessary." Sasuke told his son, eyes lingering on Kiku, Naruto's daughter, before focusing them on Mai.
"Frig. The Hokage won't even come to save his village. What a p***k." Mai said, not thinking about what she is saying.
Sasuke sighed. It was just like Mai when she was having a temper tantrum.
"Mai. Snap out of it. Wake up out of the Genjutsu." Sasuke sighed out of exasperation.
"Ibaraki, hold your sister down. Don't... attack her." He said, waiting for Ibaraki to start to sit on her, like he was.

Emi helped the rest of the genin out, and looked around. The only people left in the room were her friends, already chunin and above. They were in no danger from Mai, especially now that she was mostly detained. She stepped closer to Sasuke and his children, and performed a few hand signs.
"If you don't mind my help, Uchiha-sama...kagemane no jutsu." She sent her shadow out once more, reaching for Mai. She figured Sasuke could handle it on his own, but it was always better safe than sorry. Always. And if he didn't want her help, he could just say so.

"Arigato, Emi." Sasuke thanked her. He stepped off Mai, and looked at the remaining chunin.
"I realize you all think Mai has followed in my path, becoming a traitor to the village. Jubei, you probably the most." the male Uchiha said, signaling to the Uzumaki who was still in the corner, stunned.
"But, she isn't. A boy named Akira told me of an attack on my daughter, and how a puppet released a genjutsu on her, during an attack. Mai only thinks she is a member of the Akatsuki, and her chakra supplies, and techniques have grown to that of an Akatsuki level. That's why she was so strong, and still is." Sasuke explained, eyeing the girl on the ground. She was growling now, angered by him.
"Damn Rain Village Shinobi." Mai cursed, trapped in Emi's shadow.

After heavy pondering, Hiro realized that what ever the reasoning for her insanity, she must be stopped. He really did not care for others safety, but he cared for Emi's safety. Though he does not show it, he actually cares for Emi more than anyone else. Rikou could take care of himself so he did not worry about him too much. He was also surprised at all the techniques he was pulling out on her. Rikou was going all out. Hiro jumped into the open. In mid air, he performed a hand seal, "ninja art technique: Sha...", suddenly the door slammed open interrupting him. His jutsu being interrupted, Hiro fell to the floor, awww man! I was just about to make my cool entrance. It was Sasuke who came through the door. After a series of events, Hiro overheard Sasuke, "Mai. Snap out of it. Wake up out of the Genjutsu." Genjutsu?! Was I right about her being controlled? He got on his feet, and listened curiously on what was going on.
He listened carefully to Sasuke's explanation on what happened to Mai. I was right, but this is bad. A genjutsu forcing her body to go over her limits could have a really bad outcome when she becomes normal. I hope Sakura gets here on time. Hiro was pissed off about letting Mai get caught in such dangerous jutsu. He let the Uchihas take care of Mai since they were the best with Genjutsu. Hiro went to her room where the puppet attacked her to investigate.

Emi nodded in response to Sasuke, and continued to sit as still as possible, allowing Mai as little movement as she could. She listened carefully to his words, and bit her lip, deep in thought.
So this Akira boy really is alright, then. I thought it was possible he was the spy...stupid, confusing, troublesome boys. But...wait.
"Uchiha-sama, how did Akira know so much about what was happening to Mai?"

"It's my kekkai genkai. I'm able to detect and identify Genjutsu, just by touching the victim." A voice, belonging to Akira himself, came from the door, and he approached the girl.
"I recognized her brutal behaivor and decided to see what was wrong with her. Even though I am a rain shinobi, I also work for Naruto-sama as a Genjutsu expert, whenever I'm in town." Akira paused, "I'm also a Jonin." He said, with a slight smirk.

Emi looked up at the attractive young jonin, and raised an eyebrow somewhat cynically. Yep. Troublesome. Awfully cocky, too.
"Well, that's nice to know. Mind breaking the genjutsu, then, Almighty Jonin Genjutsu Expert?"
Emi knew she was being rude to him, and that it probably wasn't wise, but that didn't stop her. For someone as smart as she was supposed to be, sometimes she just didn't think.
Some people just had that affect on her.

Ibaraki used his full weight on his siter, putting most of it on her arms, knee's on her elbows. He was quite relieved that his sister wasn't a traitor, he loved her way to much. But was that warning against attack directed at him, or the girl who was steadily growing hotter by the second?
"This reminds me of when you were five and burned your doll oh baby sister of mine," Ibaraki laughed.
Kiku glowered opalescant eyes at the Uchiha elder, not at all happy. She wasn't going to kill her, just incapacitate her so she couldn't move, possibly couldn't talk. It would wear off in a few hours!
((Sort of lik Haku, she uses the Byakugan to stab chakra points and stun enimies))

Rikou was glad he didn't have to kill Mai, but despite the words made by her father Sasuke, it would take some time to ever get use to Mai's presence again. Rikou was also happy that he didn't have to use his greatest attack against Mai. His gratitude to Mai's father was something he would have predicted earlier when he was saying how Mai inherited treachery from him.
"I'm sorry Sasuke; I said some things about you related to this, yet here you are. I'm grateful you came, I didn't want to hurt Mai, and luckily you came before I actually even landed an attack. We Akimichi miss often, but when we do hit, it can be devastating."
Rikou saw that the fight seemed to be over and proceeded to the wall to rest. The affects of the Green Pill were gone and Rikou was left exhausted from his fight against Mia. He was hit by the Chidori and he felt the sting still from its energy. It was certainly a deadly technique and almost cursed Sasuke for teaching it to his daughter, but that wasn't exactly fair. Rikou hope to one day have enough Chakra reserves to be able to use his ultimate technique without the use of the Three Colored Pills, it was a burden truly. Rikou began to wonder if he really was useful at all, during the whole fight, he only succeeded in stalling Mai till real help arrived. Rikou wanted to be stronger; he wanted to achieve power so he could prevent things like this from happening again. As he sat against the wall, Rikou realized he wanted to become more powerful, so much so that he was willing to go to extents to get it. One part of Rikou's mind said yes to the pursuit of power, but the other said it was a dark path far too similar to that of Sasuke. The one part that wanted the power argued that Rikou's thirst for it was to defend his friends, not to for revenge like Sasuke. The other mind argued that the path to damnation was full of good intentions. No side weakened and no side grew in strength, both sides held an equal argument.

"Yeah, about that..." Akira rubbed the back of his head while laughing.
"I'm only limited to indetification, I can't break it. With this sort of Genjutsu, only the person who cast it can.." Akira informed them.

Sasuke nodded to the Akimichi, a sign that he accepted the apology.

Emi immediately felt sorry for being rude to him, which was odd for her. She shook her head, and tried to think about something else.
"So, who exactly cast it? I'm guessing an Akatsuki member, or someone affiliated with them. Which means, the likelihood of us breaking it is..."
She slumped over, and hit her head on her knee. This was not encouraging news. She couldn't hold this jutsu forever, so if they couldn't break the genjutsu quickly, they would be forced to contain Mai elsewhere, under constant watch. Emi felt a flash of pity for her friend. Mai didn't realize what was going on; it wasn't her fault. It seemed unfair that she had to be treated so roughly for her own protection. But if it had to be done, then it had to be done.
Hopefully it doesn't get to that point.
