HURRAAAAYYY~! And now America has a chance to redeem itself in the eyes of the ENTIRE PLANET.
Us Canadians, and the rest of the world, was just about as excited as the US to see Obama's victory. <3

Yeah, when we went to Germany, the Germans all wanted to talk politics* and all prefered Obama. The should be excited. "Bush has been bad for the world." is what one said.
*Americans don't, and I suspect its because of our two party system, we know (or think we do) what the other party is about and don't want to hear it. There, they have so many parties, the don't know it all and have to ask to see of your party's full of s**t or not. How I see it at least.
BTW - This is with me wearing the maid collar, I don't think I can wear it.

I'm one to dislike talking or hearing talk of politics, but this isn't something I could avoid, what with the whole media and internet exploding over it, and being affected wanting it or not. My blog watch-list is still celebrating in big bold fonts and sparkly effects. XD
Orca is right: the ENTIRE PLANET was staring, and sighed in relief. I don't think the fight's over, though - there is a *lot* to do, in little time, with very little resources compared to those tasks. Also, almost half the country still voted for the other side, and cannot be ignored. That's how I see it so far, at least. As an outlander, I wish USA residents the best of luck with their new president! Epic voting. heart
Now if only proposition 8 could have gone so well. ;__; Gay marriages FTW.

Meh, I wish the world would have seen it that way when Bush "won" again 4 years ago. That more than half of the country voted for John Kerry (I was one of those). But no, they instead saw the whole country as retarded and evil :-/
Which is why I don't give a s**t about their opinion anymore. I'm ******** if I do, ******** if I don't xp
Instead, I think we should all look at / read more porn 3nodding
Although I have to admit. I want to stick Obama in my pocket and beat up anyone that tries to hurt him. This is the first president we've had that I've actually been very proud to have voted for. And feel overly protective of xd
He's got such a beautiful family. Although his wife could have chosen a more flattering dress xp That one kept pulling attention to her breasts (no big deal there. They weren't overly large or overly small or whatnot), and to her belly. It's really the belly part that made me keep looking at it and going "wait... what?"

Oh gawd Yue, Prop 8 ... that's probably the one thing that got me disgusted and a little riled in the midst of all this Obama joy. >:
I don't have to worry about it directly, since here in Canada we can marry same-sex perfectly legally ... but still.
On happier news ... I has delicious nachos! C:

Ooooh, Orca, you are from Canada? How come I hadn't noticed this before! Québecoise here. ^0^ Are you going to AN this year? Ou même Otakuthon? *spazz spazz*
NACHOS. Hmmm, I miss them. *__* Though I didn't know they'd go well with cheese. Thank you for the tip, I'll try it next time! =D

There's a difference between and Cheese is good on the latter, but not the former. I'm watching Corner Gas and have had Butter Tarts, but that's as close as I've been. rolleyes I always like replying in French in Canada because it scares the s**t out of the staff.

xDD! You don't have to worry about nacho cheese then! There isn't an edible element in it! rofl Darn. wink Attendance was down at school yesterday, but that was it. About the same for a big ballgame. I'm no Canadian, but I spend vacation there often. >XD Though I hear on a clear day I can see Canada from the Terminal Tower.

Dood, seriously? I had no idea there were so many Canadians here. XD I knew a bunch of us were outta the States but ...
Anywaaaays, wicked! Looks like most people are totally from central and atlantic. O: I've been living in New Brunswick for the past four years or so but I was BORN on PEI. >u<
Oh - and I'm not attending any conventions I think ... nah, AN's too far away this year for my budget. :'D And I only speak un petite peu de francais ... I wish I were fluent but no. >:
Gawd I had the most vicious craving for chicken wings a couple nights ago ... so we finally got some last night. @_@ I'm going to be HORRIBLE for food when I'm pregnant, I know it. [/loooooooves food]
