She whirled around at hearing your voice, blue eyes wide. Immediately she threw her arms around your neck and kissed your cheek gently. This was by far completely out of character for Quistis, but being relieved you were alive and the fact you were now a SeeD raised her spirits immencely. I was so worried!

Chris Ganale (Croix. stressed the names weren't announced over the PA. they were called out to the kids on the second floor. you didn't hear them, and neither did Seifer) I know, but that doesn't mean I can't mention it in my posts, read back alittle and you'll notice I never once mentioned Zell knowing he had made it, Chris. xp xd xp )

-Sendo looks up and beams with the realization of his accomplishment. Orena, however, hangs her head. Rinoa's name hadn't been called. That means that everything she'd done out there and all the hurt she went through to save everybody had been for nothing. Being a SeeD had been all Rinoa could talk and think about for weeks now, and now she doesn't even get that much. Orena's looked up to Rinoa since they started class together as cadets, and Orena's victory feels like an empty one.-

She blinked at you for a moment, pulling away from you putting that 'safe' distant between them. Why was I worried?! I thought you had been killed Seifer! And then when it was announced you made SeeD and some students said they saw you leaving.. that was when she noticed your bag, which a frown was given. And where the hell do you think you're going! I'm not going to this ball with no escort! to push the point into your head, she poked your chest as she mentioned the last bit.

Squall noticed that the female student from Rinoa's squad looked utterly depressed. He understood why; Rinoa's name hadn't been called because Cid knew she was in the infirmary. Her squadmate must think she hadn't made it. He discreetly attempts to catch her eye, to give her a look that said "She did make it."
Headmaster Cid moved down the line, handing each new SeeD his or her rank report and giving them each little words of encouragement or congratulations. After handing the last new SeeD their report, he stepped back and stood before the middle of the line, giving Squall his cue.
Squall stepped forward, his command voice coming to the forefront.
This ends the SeeD inauguration. Dismissed!
When the new SeeDs look over their reports, they'll see that their rank has been determined by a breakdown of their conduct, attitude, judgment, attack, and spirit. Irvine and Haiiro both ranked 7 because of their exceptional leadership and cooperative abilities. Burnham earned a 6 due to his weapons prowess and ability to take down many enemies at once. Chavez's rank was 6 because of his exceptional ability in handling a hoverunit, and some uncanny tactics he employed in the battle. Sendo and Orena also earned 6 each, for their prowess in magic and weaponry, and their full support for their squad captain.
(and when i say dismissed, that means leave)

-Orena catches Squall's glance, but doesn't know what to make of it, as she doesn't know him very well. She understands that he's trying to be reassuring... does that mean Rinoa is okay? Does it mean she made it and they're just not telling everyone about it? Orena mulls this over as she leaves the room behind Sendo. She will discuss it with him over dinner. Sendo is better at reading people than Orena could ever be.-
