Firewolfblue, what part of Italy are you from? smile
Yep, I'm from Castiglione della Pescaia, a small place on the SW coast in front of the Isola d'Elba

I have a quick question. In this one book I have, for the present perfect, it says to write the pronoun and the participle like this:

"la ho mangiata"
"li ho mangiati"
"le ho mangiate"

Is that right? confused *doesn't trust books very easily, especially since this books writes "anch'io" as "anche io"*

I'm sorry for you!! hope it will get better soon biggrin
The first one is better contracted, the other two become contracted while talking, especially in Tuscany wink but you can write them like that, it's clearer to the reader...

Today I feel a lot better! My knees are still very weak and sore, but I can walk. And, I'm not a big-mouth anymore! biggrin wink

Ok, I just thought since it wasn't used with "essere", the vowel on the participle doesn't change. Thankies! ^_^

Past-tense essere phrases and past-tense phrases that have pronouns in them - those are the two categories that change. smile

Non dirmelo, non finiva piu' xp I didn't sleep much so when I arrived I 'passed out' for several hours!
The city is quite pretty, half japanese half 'western style', a little too grey for my tastes but some houses are really nice! But above all people are nice, they understand that you, being in Japan for the very first time, may don't know about some 'technical aspects' xd

That's cool how it's half-modern/half-traditional. 4laugh Have you made any buddies yet?

Not to change to subject, but I think you'll be proud of me on this one. ^_^ Lately I've been feeling very capable of making a difference, and I decided to create a proejct to help all us non-Italian Pausini fans learn the language. I translated the post into Spanish, English, and Italian by myself, and got help to get Dutch, Portuguese, and French translations as well, as a sign of respect. Could you, real quick, check my draft in Italian? I think I did an ok job. confused
