"You never can truly say how someone will react," She warned them in a light voice, "After all, it's not in my nature to snap so easily or hit someone, and that's what I just did." Tyr told them in her quiet little voice, her eyebrows coming together as she frowned at them. Something didn't quite feel right, or really even smell right, about the whole situation. Maybe she was just being paranoid, but even if they did know the demon better than she did they should still be careful. Better safe than sorry when it came to guys like this; one never knew when enough became enough and they snapped.
The girls frown turned more from disapproving to nervous and afraid and she ducked her head in, turning red at the fact there was once more attention placed on her; how easily she went from being mad for not having people pay attention to her to wanting to hide again. She almost curled into herself, raising Ferghall and pushing her face into his fur so that only her eyes could be seen. Still, as nervous as she seemed her eyes stared out at the group with an odd kind of knowledge in them, despite being as young as she was.
If one thing could be said about Tyr and one thing only, it was that she had a good knowledge of people thanks to her empathy, and it bothered her that she couldn't quite process what was coming from the demon. She arched one eyebrow at them for a brief second and shifted so that she wasn't directly facing them anymore. We'd better get you healed up soon, Ferghall. Having you hurt isn't good for my temper. She told him, closing her eyes and nuzzling her face into his fur. When they opened back up it looked more like she was on the verge of crying than as if she knew something.

Shiango actually smiled at how well the two old geezers knew his family. He leapt down from Falcron, and landed on the ground easily without falling over. He hardly looked like a bad guy, but appearances can be deceiving. He held his large sword over his shoulder, no one else in his blood line had used such a proud looking blade, most of them used pathetic little weapons, and relied on magic. "What the werewolf, and the elder say is true. My family are proud, we don't fight unless the people we are fighting are prepared properly. In other words, even though it was my beasts that wounded you, I didn't really have any intentions of it. Shift simply chose to do that himself, he wastes my pets more then I do, believe it or not. He was also the one who chose to capture your friend, though I won't say what has happened to her, but she isn't dead, you can be sure of that." He pushed his black hair away from his face when the wind had blown his hair over his face. He paused and enjoyed the fresh air of the outside world for a few seconds.
"Falcron, take your family home, those beasts need to get out of here. I won't let them die yet, they still have a ways to go. After all, they were unexperienced fighters." "Right away Shiango." "Good, I'll see you back in the shadow realm. If any questions are asked, simply say, Shiango will be back soon. They will know what it means." "Very well." With that, Falcron picked up the beast and broke it back into the other two. They were nearly dead, but could be saved easily. Though they wouldn't be able to be used for fighting again, they could still help with the work in the shadow realm. Falcron soon nicked off after that, and Shiango watched him leave. Once Falcron was gone, he swung his sword from resting on his shoulder, and stuck it into the ground. It didn't affect anything in the area, it was simply a leaning post, which Shiango soon leant on.
He looked straight at Tyr. "I guess I do have a way of making others feel uncomfortable, but maybe now you feel a little less uncomfortable, since Falcron is gone, and I have shown I won't kill you." He paused, and looked at the werewolf, and elder. "Oh and I don't bluff, I am not like my other family members. They brought shame on the family, because they never thought logically. They only thought of power, and used their best resources to gain it. That was their downfall. I know what you may think, I am simply a kid and know nothing, but I can assure you that isn't true. I am not afraid of death either. Honestly, I believe death is simply a way to escape this world, and live peacefully elsewhere. Well for some. Though my family is eternally cursed to rule the shadow realm."
Shiango heard the sounds in the distance, and looked down and Liniathe, who was unconsious. He could tell she had great power, but after using that power, she would become useless. Not exactly the best way to be. "I believe your friends are having some trouble with the horses, I'll leave you now though. I can't leave my realm too long. Well it was nice meeting the ones I will face in future. I look forward to a good fight from you all." He grinned, then pulled his sword from the ground with one hand, before holding it over his shoulder again. Shadows came out from the shadows the trees were making, and joined together underneath Shiango. Afterwards, Shiango was standing on a shadowy power in the air. He waved, and then floated away, still standing on the shadowy cloud, and looking at the group. They all held great power.

Elgarez smiled as he watched Shiango float away into the distance.
"Those Vethinger's always knew how to make an entrance and an exit. Too bad they couldn't do much else."
He chuckled to himself.
"Sure, the kid's got some skill, but nothing can withstand the technique. Plus, the poor guy thinks the technique will kill him."
-----
Usrah looked over at Elgarez with a sad face.
"El, I have a bad feeling about all of this. There is a chance that one of us will die. The others will become a liability in the Shadow Realm. Our purity will protect us from its harmful environment, but I fear that our companions may fall to its endless darkness."
-----
Elgarez placed a hand upon Usrah's shoulder.
"I understand. That's why I'm counting on you, Usrah. I do not expect to live after this whole thing. Even if I do survive the battle with Vethinger and his little creeps, I plan to venture forth to the Heavens willingly. The world has no need for a person like me, anymore. It's a sad realization, but I've known about this for many millenia."
He kept his smile on, giving Usrah a reassuring look.
"You know, it really is time the Benevolent Gods gave you their due. You've been doing their dirty work for over 9000 years and Enlightenment should be yours to obtain."

The red tinge to Tyr's face just got darker at the fact that even more attention had been turned to her, and this time by the guy they would soon be trying to kill. Maybe I should just stop talking. Do you think it would be very hard to become a mute, Ferghall? She asked the fox, rubbing her nose into his fur and shutting her eyes tightly to get rid of the blush. For you? Normally, I would say no... but you seem really talkative lately. Ferghall told her with a slight snicker that made Tyr frown at him.
But seriously, Ferghall. What bothers me the most is that he knew I was uncomfortable, and he knew it was the feeling from the beast that was bothering me more than the fact he didn't have that tell tale aura of danger that comes from someone who's going to kill you. Tyr thought to her fox, lowering him as she relaxed and stroking his fur gently so as not to hurt him. Really? I'd think it would be the fact that those two "old geezers", as that Shiango so acurately put it, are so over confident in themselves that they'll win and so sure that one of us will die that they're already planning what will happen. Ferghall suggested, eyes slipping shut as he fell into a bit of a trance.
Tyr frowned and gave an annoyed sigh. Yes, that too is annoying.

"Do you really think that?" Ashe asked Flint as they made their way back to where everyone else was. "I'm pretty sure we can find something for you to do, especially once we get into the human capital." She heard Flint lose control of the horse for a moment and laughed. "We should get you a pony. Your learning to run before you can walk." They entered the part where the others where and noticed Shiango had left. "O good, Mr. All-I-Can-do-is-Hurl-Insults is gone." She helped Flint down form the horses and then tied them to a nearby tree. "I say we make camp here. It's getting late and some of us are in no condition to travel."

"Yeah, I really think that, did you see my last two fights? My knife is tiny...I do have an idea though, but it slows down our adventure by a day, maybe two." Flint said. "As for the pony idea, hold that thought, I know a man who lives in the human capital, I need to speak to him before we leave to help the king. After that I should be fine." he added, nodding in thanks and agreement to Ashe. "I agree, lets camp here, or at least further in the trees, we all need the rest. On a side note, does anyone know how close we are to the capital? I never went this way before." he asked.

Luniya watched Ashe and Flint as they brought the horses back. She was almost disgusted with the way Elgarez and Usrah were talking. Shw walked between the two of them, facing Usrah mostly. "Do you think we are weak? That we can only bring you trouble?" She turned towards Elgarez, swinging her dangling arm, "Or is it that you two are too strong for help?"She fussed as she pointed her finger at the two of them. He ears and tail were very straight and pointed. I have heard of being confident and believing in yourself, but not at the expense of others.
She walked away. She wasn't mad or angry though, she was hurt. Any other criticism she would have taken pretty well; however, she could'nt stand being called weak. She went and jumped on a branch in a tree. I am not weak anymore. I was back then, but not now. No. She contemplated her thoughts as well as what the other two had said. She glanced at Flint and smiled. She sighed and formed some water in her hand to clean her wound. "I sure can use some bandages right now,"she said lunder breath to herself.

Usrah shook his head, his sad expression remaining upon his face.
"No, Luniya. It is not like that. This fight should be only ours to bear. El and I are specialized in fighting evil and while the rest of you are great warriors, it will ultimately take the divine forces to destroy the last Vethinger."
-----
Elgarez nodded in agreement.
"Usrah is right, Luniya. We don't want to see the rest of you get hurt. Between Usrah and I, one of us will most likely be killed. This world doesn't need people like us, anymore. When we're gone, it'll be up to the rest of you to fight off those who wish pain and suffering to the innocent."
-----
Usrah placed a hand upon Luniya's wounded arm and a golden light poured upon it, restoring it to its original health and strength.
"We have seen too many good people die along side us. All of you are far too special to simply have your lives thrown away."

Luniya closed one of her eyes and peeked out the other while Usrah healed her arm. "I didn't need you to do that, it would have been better tomorrow," she said turning her whole body away from Usrah. She sighed once more, "I guess you people will never understand, eh Elgarez? You two don't need to have the wieght of the world on your shoulders. But enough of that, it's not important now. Let's be happy," she smiled at Elgarez. "Elgarez you have the cutest ears," she jumped off the branch and went gently tug on his ears with the hugest smile on her face.

Elgarez's smile got even bigger as Luniya touched his ears.
"You really think so? Funny you should mention that. I find your entire being to be quite gorgeous."
He stroked the side of her face with his large hand.
"It's been a while since I've seen such a beautiful young lady. 9000 years later and the women just get better and better."
-----
Usrah sighed and rolled his eyes, taking his leave from the two werewolves. He stood alone and took the geranium flower from a pouch in his belt, twirling it in his fingers. He quietly whispered to himself.
"Now is the time, Eva. I will truly avenge your death and the Vethingers will cease to destroy the lives of others."

Luniya wasn't expecting him to be so flirty. She jumped a little when he touched her cheek. "Um Elgarez?" She was speechless and lightly blushing. "Yeah, I have to uh, I have to go over here," she managed to stammer out. She went sit down on the ground. He is cute and charming, but old. Luniya laughed at her thoughts. She didn't even notice she was staring at Elgrez.

Elgarez raised an eyebrow when Luniya hurried away. He was very confused and whispered to himself.
"Wow, that was unexpected. Maybe she's not interested in good-lookin' guys."
He touched his face and sighed with relief knowing that he still looked young. He decided to shout over to her.
"Did I do something wrong?"

He chuckled when she said that he could not do anything wrong.
"Are you kidding? When I was mortal, I was screwin' up all the time. I think I won most of my battles by dumb luck. It took me a long time before I was actually able to master my own style. After that, it was all smooth sailing."

Ashe watched the two werewolves for awhile, then rolled her eyes and got back to the business of setting up camp. She say that Usrah had walked off on his own again. Did mother ever feel like this when all of us where growing up? Having to keep an eye on everyone? She walked up, taking the form of an elder on the way, and looked up at him and said, "Are you going to mope around all day? We were finally able to get you to smile earlier. You should do it more often, looks better on you then a frown." She took the flower out of his hands and jump away. "You can get this back after you promise not to mope around. You now have a chance to avenge your woman, don't wast it by bringing us all down." She place her hands on her hips and waited.
((Ashe is 19 going on 5 with the way she's acting now... xp ))
