Neji shook his head "no, we'll be fine. we just look like ordinary competitors, not stand outs like Naruto or Gaara, cause the whole Akatsuki is after them"

Aran stood at his side of the arena, his veins were already glowing blue from his Kekkei Genkai. He has waited so long for a worthy opponent to test his Bakushin Kujiku on someone of this stature.
"In the right part of the arena is the the Rin'negan Princess of the Hidden Leaf Duo from none other then the Hidden Leaf Village, but the Leader of the Sound Five! For real! Kikyo Eukia!!! In the right part of the arena is the the Chakra Demon of the Muscle Team from none other then the Country of Fire! He plans to end this quickly! Aran Kagiri!!!"
The crowd around them in the sides of the arena had no clue how these two fougt, bnut already Kikyo had a following, the Sound Five had been in several tournements in the Country of Rice and her being thier leader had a great influence.
"Kikyo! Kikyo! Kikyo!"
The crowd was already in her favor, but Aran cared nothing for glory; Just the honor earned from battle. Aran readied himself and went into his fighting stance. His right leg moved forward and he held up his left arm to the side and his right arm into a fist infront of him. His veins were an even brighter blue, his hair shimmered slightly from the intesity of his Chakra.
"And...Fight!"
Aran stood idle, waiting for Kikyo's first move.

Kikyo reached for a kunai and prepared for an attack be smarter than your opponent, Kikyo she told herself or you'll be out of this faster than you can blink she threw her kunai and performed hand seals

Aran aimed his right fist, he needed to time it correctly. Seemingly slowing down tiem for hismelf, he was able to side step majesticlly and grab the kunai with his right hand. He tossed it aside and held his right hand forward towards Kikyo, his palm was open.
"Open Palm: Devastating Strike!"
Aran dashed forward, his palm aimed towards Kikyo and pulsating with emmense amount of Chakra. This caused the hand to tremble from the sheer power within it.

as Aran's palm reached Kikyo, she was surrounded by smoke, and in her place was a log. "gotta love substitution jutsus, huh?" she said, appearing behind Aran. she performed hand seals and said "fire style: phoenix flower jutsu!" she blew the fire encircled kunais at Aran
((also, this isn't a go-mod kinda post, i prepared for this. please note in my last post at the end, kikyo was performing hand seals for an unspecified jutsu))

"Clever girl...Closed Fist: Defending Dash!"
Aran dashed to the side, a kunai grazed by his right leg. Several burn marks made it harder to complete the dash, but he managed to avaid the full force of the Jutsu. His leg was burned bad, those kunai did a number on it. Aran had no choice, but to step it up a level.
"Key Fist Technique: Gate of Opening!"
Aran stumbled to the right a bit, it was a long time since he had ever even opend one of the Eight Chakra Gates. His body intesified and the pain on his leg was ignored, but still there. Unlike the technique used to open a gate by Might Gai and Rock Lee, this was a clan trait from the Kagiri clan. They focus more of using the gate's power to increase Jutsu output instead of Taijutsu performance. The Key Fist Techniue allowed access to only the first three gates, more extreme measures would need to be taken for the other five. Aran's veins and body pulsed constantly with a blue glow, tihs was obviously a part of the technique. His height and muscle mass began to expand, he was now a half a foot taller then before.
"I'll crush you like a bug. Closed Fist: Chakra Tremor!"
Aran yelled out a loud scream as he sent his fist towards the ground, it was covered in a blue light.

Kikyo quickly jumped off the ground and landed in a tree. she began to analyze the situation. hm...ok. he opens the gates for the access of more chakra, different than Lee and Gai's. she thought and he glows blue at a stronger level. this will be a challenge.
((ok, but some people are idiots and may call that god modding, because i didn't say it in that post))

His fist contacted the ground and sent a ripple surrounding him. It caused the whole arena to seemingly shake violently. This continued and continued as long as Aran's fist remained contacted to the ground. He removed his fist and cracked his knuckles using his left hand.
"Your fast, I like that. Open Palms: Invincible Strike!"
Aran thrusted both of his hands towards Kiyko, sending out two small gusts of wind. These guts of wind were infused with Chakra in order to make them visible and probably to increase their potential damage ratio.
