Ganondorf raised an eyebrow. "Stay away from her? You're the one I'm interested right now," Ganondorf replied, eyeing the Master Sword warily. If this kid knew how to fight...
"I hope you know how to fight me. It would be a shame to end it too quickly," Ganondorf said. It was a bluff; he had no idea what he could do, nor what he couldn't do. So as an attempt, he focused his attention on the boy, took one step forward, and planted his fist in the earth. It cracked, opening in six different directions, one sliding straight towards the Hero, intent on engulfing him.

Link jumped out of the way of the cracking floor as he began his charge towards the man. He may not know exactly how to use a sword, but he had always been very agile, a trait that came in handy training the stunt horses. He was within feet of the man now and knew it was time to strike. Quickly, he jumped into the air and awkwardly swung the sword downward at the man.

((Well, cuz I haven't used Gustave in awhile...))
Gustave awoke a while later, his face on the cold stone floor. He looked around, and noticed that a door was near him. He tried to open it, but, to no avail. Soon, he looked around, and noticed something strange near the center of the room. As he approached it, he saw that it was a golden sword, that had a large green gem set into the middle, and the sword had a golden hilt. "Is this...?" He muttered, and was about to touch the sword, when his hand was shot back... 'Wha... what was that about...?'

Zelda seemed not to notice as the floor fell away under her; she just continued to stand on empty space. Her attention was focused almost completely on Link. What did he think he was doing? He really couldn't use a sword, that much was made very clear just by watching him. If Gannondorf hadn't already noticed this, he would very soon.
What he needed was a distraction, the more spectacular the better. Zelda smiled slightly. She might not have much energy left, even after Nayru's gift, but a distraction was definitely something she could manage.
She cupped her hands, and a glowing, golden light filled her palms. Slowly the light shaped itself into a sphere, and Zelda moved her hands around it, the glow coming through her fingers. Just a little bit longer...

Ganondorf grinned. He'd caught the Hero at the right time - before he knew how to fight properly. Using the armor plating on his forearm as a guard, Ganondorf let the vertical cut slide down his arm to strike the ground beside him. He then made a fist, delivering a Triforce-powered punch the the kid's stomach. Something tugged at the edge of his concioucsness, an awareness of power forming and molding somewhere very close by, but the Hero was his. He could take the Master Sword out of the picture from the beginning.

A sharp pain went through his body as the Fist landed, 'This guy is strong,' Link thought. In the corner of his eye, the boy noticed the orb forming in the princesses hands, 'I guess I'll just have to stall.' Link tightened his grip on the blade and once again charged at the man, trying his best to aim a horizontal slice.

Ganondorf grinned again. He could meet the blade with the armor on the other arm. Probably.
Instead of taking a risk, he slid below the chop, subconsciously generating a ball of energy in his right hand, then driving it towards Link's chest.

Link could see the energy ball coming and quickly reacted. Pressing down on the man's head with his right hand, the boy lifted his body up into the air and managed to flip up and above the man, landing right behind him. Once he had regained his footing, Link tucked his shield back to his chest and swung his sword.

SirBayer ((So here I think you mean they're going into Dodongo Cavern. This is acceptable.)) Arryl grinned, spurred her horse forward, and tensed all the more.
Anticipating the Goron turning around, Arryl drew her rapier and charged him, for all the world looking like she intended to harm him.
She charged forward, waited until as late as she dared, and then...
...then the horse jumped, carrying Arryl just above the Goron. Arryl herself, expecting the Goron to make a move to stop her horse, dismounted with a leap forward, flying rapier first towards Sofia. Once she had that girl with the rapier against her, no one would make a move. Her trump card was played; she had a victory.Gustaf turned just in time for Arryl to jump him. Growling, he whirled around to attack the woman, only to find her with a rapier at Sofia's neck. "SOFIA!" he yelled, running (as fast as a goron could) towards Arryl, Vladimir and Sofia. Vladimir was frozen from the moment Arryl had drawn her rapier. Almost within a second, he looked to his side to see Sofia craning her neck to avoid the rapier cutting it. "Vladie!" Sofia cried, reaching out for him. Vladimir froze again, scared for his friend.

Zelda ignored the sounds of battle as much as she could; harder to ignore were the surges of magical energy. She bit her lip and closed her eyes, forcing her focus completely into the spell.
Her eyes shot open, and the ball of light exploded into many points of light, points of light that quickly resolved into tiny, glowing insects; they hovered for a moment, then turned, in perfect sync, toward Gannondorf, then shot toward him like tiny javelins.
Zelda smiled coolly. "Excellent."

"STOP!" Arryl crowed, regaining her footing quickly. "I don't suppose you want to see her alive again?" A wicked grin had spread across Arryl's face. "Nothing will come of it if you just let her go. I knew you wouldn't just let me ride off with her, but she's going up the hill anyway. She'll be safe if you don't make any stupid moves. Deal?" Arryl quizzed, adding an extra degree of nasty smirk.
The boy was quite agile, Ganondorf had to give him that. He'd just vaulted over his head, and now was bringing the sword around to strike again. Ganondorf twirled quickly, intending to catch the blade with his arm, but he never got the chance. Something odd and rather painful slammed into his side, knocking him backwards and away from Link's cut. Simultaneously, his spinning arm let go of the sphere of power. It arced away, hardly affected by gravity, swirling with an evil hissing noise straight towards Zelda.

The man was distracted, that was for sure, but still there was that energy ball. Link raced and tackled the Princess to the ground the moment it was about to strike, "Zelda, I think we should make a run for it, remember what it said on the doors of the temple of light, only two people can enter and I doubt he's one of them."

Zelda's eyes widened as an enormous ball of power shot toward her, then prepared to jump out of the way; she didn't have any magical energy left to put into a shield. Suddenly, something slammed into her, causing her to crash to the floor, hitting her head painfully in the landing.
"Ouch," she mumbled thickly, bringing her hand up to touch the side of her head. She watched, half listening to Link, as the light insects arranged themselves around Gannondorf, then shot at him again, this time coming from all sides. "Run for it?" she repeated dazedly, "Alright."

The insects were reforming, coming in again. Only twice, and already Ganondorf was getting impatient with the buggers.
Har har.
Regaining his balance, he walked forwards towards the pair, a dark aura beginning to form around him. Just before the bugs slammed into him, the aura pulsed outward, either sending them spiraling away or destroying them; Ganondorf didn't have time to look. The room began to darken as the very light began to focus in Ganondorf's hand, just like the energy sphere, but distinctly more potent. He didn't make a move; just marched purposefully and rather quickly towards the pair, his eyes flashing dangerously. He was quite intent on preventing them from getting away; trouble dealt with now was trouble not dealt with when it had had time to grow and strenghten.

"Come on we have to go," Linl told her as he grabbed her hand and practically pulled her to her feet. Had the moment not been so dire, Link would have been mortified by his actions towards the princess, but at the moment, he didn't care. Gannondorf was fast approaching and he knew they didn't stand a chance at the moment. But if they could somehow get inside the Temple of Light, it would buy them some time to come up with a plan.
Still holding the girl's hand in his own, Link made a dash for the Cathedral's exit.
(throw the ball, I have an idea)
