Alison and Nadab fell in line behind Liz, habitutually. When the sergant says to send one man to do this, three always go. At least.
The gunny steped over a Brute corpse, her nose turning up in disgust. He was splayed spread eagel, with his spiker lying just out of reach of his hand. There was a larger and bloody hole where his face should be.

Liz looked around the corner and spotted the Grunt, looking the other way. Liz walked over to it and picked it up, by its head. It started to struggle against it captor. "Stop or you're gonna break your neck." Liz said, still holding the little alien.

Nadab frowned.
"Just pull the bloody bugger's tubes and collect what you need from his corpse."
Alison rolled her eyes. In her head, Sable keyed the suit's COMM systems and spoke her mind.
"If you were to do that, then what could Liz possibly learn from a corpse?"

Liz sighed. She set the Grunt down, but still held on to its head. She then just tapped the helmet of the alien, knocking it out. "What we need it the cloaking system, and the cloaking system is connected to the armor, and if the kill the alien, then the system will malfunction. Besides, we need as many veteran users of their technology as we can, because without them, we actually might not win this war." Liz explained, picking up the alien, slinging it over her armored shoulder.

Alison frowned, not likeing that one bit. You can't trust the enemy to kill the enemy.' Again, Sable seemed to read the gunny's mind.
"Liz, is it wise to try and kill the enemy with their own soldiers? I fully understand your need to have them alive, to at least learn how to use their technology, but I must advise using the grunts to attack. In all likelyhood, they would switch sides."

Shinta shook himself awake and saw Liz holding the grunt, “So,” he said with a bit of trouble, “I see you have yourself another pet.” He slowly lifted himself up, putting the gun into the special holster. Slowly, he walked to where the others were and turned to Liz, “Can I have my guns back please; I’d rather not have to trust my life to a single shot gun.” He said with a slight dazed smile, he felt really out of it right now.
((Wow, I though this was long dead.... also, Twi, you took all my guns except for the custom, which I keep on a holster on my back...))

(Actually, Mag, I typed that I took only the Custom 400 calibur Handgun. Plus, we're in a hallway and you can't see us. READ THE POSTS!!!!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin )
"Actually, as long as we have Elites and their clones with us, the Grunts will fear massive retaliation against them. Plus, isn't turning from one side to the other called heresy? If the Grunts that we captured try to turn back to the Covenant, won't they be killled? Or worse ( at least in their culture's terms), humiliated?" Liz said, looking at Alison.
(Also, your legs are broken. How can you walk? If your legs are broken, it is impossible to walk, even the maximum dosage of morphine can't stop that pain. Plus, there's a chance that the fracture could go through the skin and muscle, creating a compound fracture.... duuuuuhhhhhhhh.)

Alison couldn't help but think to herself: Clones?
"Clones?"
Nadab spat on the ship's floor.
"Now you're cloning the little shittes?"
He frowned, looking at the unconcious grunt in question. The corporal was fingering the trigger on his TSR.

"Yah, but since they are trained to obey only the military ranking of Earth, they will not listen to the Prophets' speeches. Also, it is very easy to tell if they are ally or not, usually they are wearing armor supplied by the Earth weapons manufacturers. In fact, the armor for cloned Hunters should be ready soon." Liz replied, holding onto the Grunt by the scruff of the neck and still staring at it, for it had awoken. "Careful, you're gonna give the thing a heart attack if you stare at it like that any longer." The annoyed voice of Liz's AI said. "And like you said, we need that stealth technology. Combined with what we already have, the stealth should not lower if shooting or being shot at." "Fine." Liz said, carrying it into the bridge, followed by the Marines.

Alison jumped when she saw Johnson.
"Holy hell."
Nadab smirked.
"Getting jumpy, are you, Ally."
Alison choose to ignore that...with some difficulty.
"Where the ******** did you come from, trooper?"

The gunny shrugged her pulse action onto her shoulder, via nifty shoulder strap and shook out a f**, lighting it. Nadab stole one as well, before Alison could tuck the pack away.
"What's your unit, private Johnson?"
"Don't I already know a Johnson?"
"You should. He is our platoon leader and first lieutenant."
"No s**t?"
"None, Nadab."
Atridies turns back to the Johnson in front of them, expectantly.

"Your unit?"
