Athramir stood, waiting for one of them to make the first move.
The girl, Shaon, if he remembered correctly, came first.
It was fitting, she always seemed to be the angry, impatient one...
He simply knocked her aside and went for Leo, for his lame story to fit, he'd have to act it out accordingly.
The battle ensued, and Athramir was disappointed, he'd expected more.
Then all of a sudden, Shaon lept upon his back, planting her knife into his back.
This move caught him off-guard, and it hurt. In his anger at the girl, Athramir left himself open and Sydney impaled Athramir through the stomach.
Athramir dropped to the floor.
On the brink of unconciousness, he heard the resulting conversation.
Sad and sappy as always... Sydney on the verge of tears, other trying to carm him, etc...
The trio left the room and went on their merry way.
Little did they know...
This wasn't over, not by a long shot...

Shaon looked to Aska. "Come on!" she dove for the blackness, her daggers at ready. Even if she had to work as a team she was not letting Athramir escape. She would rather die.

((HAHAHAAAA!!! The black sphere is supposed to be pure Dark Energy, just like the very core of the dark energy reactor in Half Life 2: Episode One: You'd be destroyed in every way possible, mostly in ways humanity doesn't even know about! Well, I guess that something like this is a bit more suited for our little adventure, don;t you think?))
She put her bow away, thinking that he'd just wait right on the other side to cut them down. So she drew both of her Katanas and jumped in with one pulled back to stab and the other ready to block. She'd have to get him on the first strike if she where to survive for more than a second in their. She came out, or in, she couldn't tell in this infinite void, with nothing to tell as up or down, just a feint feeling of something under her feet, next to Shaon. Without a word, he charged at him and stabbed down and slashed with the other sword with all the strength she could muster.

(Nick, need i say this is the dark brotherhood guild and not the half life 2 guild? XD sure, you had stuff from it in here, but this RP shoudl be predominantly DB stuff )

Athramir stood and watched as Aska swung her heart out.
"You think that'll stop me? Sorry, but I brought you people along for the ride. Either watch, or I'll kill you." He said, dodging the blow as if it was 10x slower.

"HRRAH!" She threw out a fist at him to launch the only electric spell she knew and that it would move just too fast for anything to dodge, even a God, at the short distance he was from her.

Shaon jumped behidn him, remaining low as she swunf toward his legs to keep froma recoil from Aska's blade ripping into her.

"Argh..." Athramir grunted, wincing at the shock spell. "Fine, if that's the way you want to play it..." He shot his own shock spell at Aska. It would killed her... If it wasn't for that pesky girl behind him throwing him off aim.
"I'm not going to get hit by you from behind again... BEGONE!" He yelled, kicking Shaon hard.
There was a sickening crack.
Shaon didn't seem to be dead, but it looked as though she was out for the count.
He advanced on Aska. "And as for you..." He smiled.

Shaon coughed up blood, lying weakly on the ground. she couldn't move, her body a useless heap on the ground. she coudl only watch uselessly from the side. she was hhorrified, she couldn't move anything, nothing below hr neck. her eyes half-way closed. Sydney...I'm sorry...you too, Aska...

Athramir seemed to disappear. Instantly, he appeared in front of Aska, hold her neck.
"Where's Sydney?" He asked slowly.

"He's too good to fight you." Shaon grinned. she'd at least be able to taunt him, she coudl talk. "He doesn;t need to waste his time with a fool...like you."

"Is that so?" He looked to Shaon, using a paralysis spell on Aska. He didn't need any interuptions like last time.
"I would hardly call this a time wasting exercise... I'm finished with you people... You can stay here in the Void until Sydney comes to rescue you all..." He finished with a cruel laugh.
His plan was finally coming into the final stage. Athramir went to leave, but he saw a figure coming in the distance. He wasn't hurrying, he was simply walking towards Athramir.

Shaon spat at Athramir's feet. "That's damn right. " she tilted her head up, a lancing pqain went down her neck but stopped right above her ribcage. she hated seeing hands there, her legs there, but she wasn't able to feel them. and she felt so weak, all she coudl do was taunt.

Shaon closed her eyes weakly. she couldn't fight, she was sure her spine was shattered. no more fighting...she was a usleless tool now. she had failed everyone. again.
