"Oye you're such a lazy bum Kader...seriously you couldn't find anywhere else to nap?" An eyebrow arched on the ex-officer's face as he bent forward to see his friend beneath the wagon. A rougish grin was spread across his face, he wanted to make his friend feel better, if he was down at all, especially after the ghastly swarm this morning.
"Is there room for one more down there?" Well two technically, as Yero was sitting next to him, happily wagging his tail back and forth. His cold nose probbed forward nudging the boys side.

Blinking awake, Kader glanced around and was surprised to see Carter and Yero had found him. He sat straight up, or at least tried to, bumping into the bottom of the wagon.
"Whoops." he chuckled, rubbing at his head. "Forgot I was under a wagon."
Smiling at them he moved over. "Of course there's room!"

"Geez, you're sort of a pain you know, what a place to sleep." Shaking his head he slipped under the Wagon so that he was resting shoulder to shoulder with his best friend. Yero followed after him, curling up by his head. "Good boy Yero my hero." Carter chuckled and adjusted so that his growlithe became a rather comfortable pillow.
"What are you doing under here anyway? I would have thought you'd be sitting somewhere with this girl of yours you keep going on about?" His head twisted on Yero's stomach to glance down at his friend, giving him a rather sly smile.

Grinning to beat the Cheshire Meowth, he glanced at Carter. "It takes a lot of energy and concentration to be such a big pain." He had to admit it was nice to be hanging out with him again.
He paused at the mention of Aimi however, his grin getting knocked down a good couple of notches.
"I got a bit down about missing those Ghastly today, so I kinda ran off to ponder for a while." He still wasn't sure about breaking his secret to the ex-officer yet. He didn't want to risk their friendship. Ever.

PossiBly the MOS+ unmotivated [{traINer}]....
‘Chop…chop…chop…chop’
As the sharp blade of the knife sliced threw the carrot and hit the wooden chopping-board underneath, Effie stared down rather heatedly at the vegetable, as if she had a personal vendetta on it. “Friggin’ girl…Trickin’ me….” She grunted as she started to chop with less precision and merely cut at the helpless carrot randomly.
Then throwing the knife aside haphazardly, the girl slouched as she leaned against the table. “Who does she think she is!?” Fuming the teen picked up the chopped carrot pieces and threw them into the steaming water within the pot beside her. She needed a drink.

 After the Gastly attack, Kayla was able to calm Adira down a bit. However, she was no able to keep her from keeping watch that night. As much as she tried, Adira refused to sleep, it was basically pointless. So Adira was walking the perimeter around the campfire as she sniffed the air for danger.
Kayla and the other pokemon were trying to enjoy the last meal of the day. Hea was off to one side, nibbling at some leaves from the tree they were under. Quin and Grinch were finishing up their pokechow.

 Shunk. That's the sound it made when a knife came flying straight at Donut, passed through him (he had dematerialized barely in time) and stuck itself solidly in the wooden interior wall of wagon two, the last remaining food wagon. Surprised, the Gastly couldn't help but shout out a protest. "Gas!" He said, his pale form drifting towards Effie with the intention of giving her a good invisible tickling. Oh hey, wasn't she the one he'd tripped in the forest, the other day? The memory started him cackling, which had Lamen greeted by a strange scene upon her entry.
"Um- is there any food in here- any why is he laughing?" Just as she had climbed in, she saw Effie, looking quite furious. Was it just her, or were all of her friends in a bad mood today?
"Effie?" She asked, tentatively. There was something she needed to clarify with the other trainer, but she wasn't sure if now was the time.

Carter frowned, he had guessed correctly. "Look Kader," He began bumping his foot against Kader's leg to make sure that he had his full attention. "You can't get down because you haven't had the best of luck on this trip." A hand unfolded from his chest to sweep around to emphasis his next point, "Look around us buddy, there are a billion people here. So much can go wrong when actually trying to catch a pokeball, other people are pretty effective at getting in the way."
Yero yipped in agreemetn. "And besides, its hard to catch pokemon sometimes...Heck, I've never actually caught one. Yero and I have been together since the academy days. Maybe you should go find this girl and apologize? It might make you feel better."

Carter had his complete and utter attention, his words very true. There was a carp-load of people on the expedition. He should have seen that it would have been like looking for a needle in a field of haystacks.
"I know I shouldn't lose hope, but it just gets so hard sometimes..."
He gazed up at Yero, a hand going into his pocket to slip out a treat for the growlithe. For now he could say he had Yero to spoil at least.
"I do need to apologize... I probably made her cry..."

Golden eyes widened to the verge of popping out of her head when the Gastly made its presence know. And oh hells to the no, it was the same one from the other day, she was sure of it. The hand that clasped her ankle gave off that same silvery glow… And even though they’d met before, the pokemon spooked her none the less. “Get outta here!” Picking up a random cooking utensil she flung it across the room. Oh yeah, he’s a ghost.
Turning her gaze to the sound of oncoming feet accompanied with the recognizable voice that’d entered, Effie’s eyes automatically narrowed. “You!” Pointing an accusing finger in Lamen’s direction the girl only paused when she felt certain that the pokemon was drifting closer to her. “Call off your pokemon!” The girl barked, without a question in her mind Effie had a little imagination playing in her mind that all along Lamen really did have a pokemon and merely pretended to not have one for the grand master plan of scaring the living daylights outta her. Even though Effie still couldn’t figure out what the other would gain from that, besides another notch on their belt.

"Huh? Oh, sorry. Donut! Return!" A red flash came from her pokeball, and the Gastly disappeared inside- but not before sticking out his (enormous) tongue straight in front of Effie's face. Well, no wonder she was ticked off... the gastly must have been playing tricks on her while she wasn't laughing. Still, her anger was something to be reckoned with, as Lamen found herself ducking beneath the ricocheted kitchen utensil.
Trying not to laugh, Lamen shook her head. "Was he bothering you?" She asked, in all good-naturedness.

"I know its hard sometimes man, but it gets better and easier as you go. Or so I'm told, I'm pretty new to this whole "trainer thing" as you know. We'll get you a pokemon though, if I have to sell my soul to one of those stinking scientists." He was joking, mostly at least, He would do just about anything for his friend.
"Come on know, didn't I teach you anything about ladies? Making them cry was not on the list to do dude." He shook his head making a clucking noise with his tongue. "I suggest that you apologize then...Besides no one likes a sore sport."
Yero yipped happily taking the treat from Kader. He licked the boy in thanks, focusing his energy on gobbling down the treat. "Kader, dude you're going make him one fat pup!"

 She had cried, if only a little bit, having managed to make it back to wagon four before bursting into tears. With no one around really, it had been nice to get those feelings off of her chest, though she was still horribly worried about him. Hoping he'd come back at some point (hopefully before they had to be off for the mines), she moved to find something to distract her busy mind...
And found it in singing, the girl dancing about idly at the spot she had stopped when Kader had run off (before she had turned back for the camp), her voice soft and sweet filling the area around her.
"You believe and you doubt, you're confused, you got it all figured out. Everything that you always wished for could be yours, should be yours, would be yours...If they only knew."

He chuckled, "My soul will be the first to go." He grinned when Yero licked him in thanks for the treat.
"I know. I was stupid to do that." he looked like a scolded pup. "I plan to make it up to her ten times over."
A smile jumped back onto his face. "Yero won't ever get fat. He's a wonder Growlithe. Remember?"

ChuChu was staring at Albireo smugly when she felt something jab her side. Her first reaction was "THUNDERSHOCK THE HECK OUT OF THE THING," but she paused after the first few sparks left her cheeks when she realized that it was only the cubone she met before wanting his seat back. "Rai..." ChuChu apologized, scratching her head and grinning sheepishly before scurrying off Arin's lap and onto Luna's.
"Aww, well, if you're lucky, you might see one again? Maybe after this trip is over, we can come here again~" Luna finished up her apple and stared at the core. Where the heck was she going to put the leftover? The trainer handed it to ChuChu who in turn fumbled with the apple core after realizing it had her trainer's drool all over it. The raichu ended up tossing it at Albireo once again.
"Deeeeeeeeew!" Albireo whined, putting his flippers above his head. Why was everyone throwing stuff at him? Was he being a bad boy? The dewgong let out another pitiful whine.
"If we come here again, then we can do some ghost hu-ChuChu, stop that!"
