3nodding Yup, Elvis liked fryed banana and peanut butter sandwiches. ^8^

Mostly he has been to badly bother by much he has tried while in the Hospital as far as foods, but he has had problems with things tasting differently because of his teeth missing now.

He does like peanut butter, and bananas a little bit every now and again. ^8^

Thanks for the info, Harvey.

I bet your father could easily gum
- meatloaf, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach
- lasagna if he likes Italian food
- egg salad sandwich
- tuna salad sandwich
- chicken salad sandwich
- just about any soup
- scrambled eggs
- yogurt
- fruit smoothies
- macaroni and cheese
- oatmeal or cream of wheat -- chocolate chips optional
- vegetable stew (my personal favorite meal)

Gee, I'm making myself hungry. lol

I'm still waiting to hear back from my toothless buddy. He refuses to have a phone in the house. It's out in the shed with an answering machine. He might be a little weird.

Thanks Harvey, 3nodding

For the most part he likes at least 3/4ths of the stuff you listed and wouldnt have any problems with eating a lot of those items you mentioned. ^8^

He is hoping to come home Thurs. now, his blood level is being pesky and not wanting to thin back out like it was before. sweatdrop

Your father's body went through a big shock. I had my wisdom teeth out, one at a time, years apart. Each one took a good while to heal. I can't begin to imagine what it's like to experience so many teeth removed all at once, especially since older people heal slower.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that your father's blood gets to where it needs to be and that he comes home soon.

Is the hospital far from where you live and work? I guess it could be very hectic running there for visits. And hospitals aren't the most pleasant places to go.

Speaking of shocks... your grass and sky avi gave me a double take. Lol Have you tried it with the Sour Patch pooping pigeon? If you don't have it let me know. I think I have several.

3nodding For the first couple of days he wasnt in a very good mood, but of course anyone wouldnt be after having all of thier teeth removed.

But he managed to after about the 3rd or 4th day to be in good shape and they were just very sore from what he told us.

It only bleed somewhat a fair amount the first day. (He held gauze in his mouth for a while.) And a bit on the second day, but that was mostly his system removing the blood from his airways were it had gotten during the surgery a bit.

Thx, Harvey it has taken him a while when he first started the blood thinners to get it right so now it is taking a while again to straightin it out. 3nodding

It is a bit out of the way, like around 30 to 45 minutes so me and my Mom are going to try to visit and call him to keep up with him and see how he is doing. 3nodding

I will see, but I believe the sour patch bird was a casulty of the time I though I was going to leave Gaia, if you want to send me one of them. ^8^

Wow that's a long drive for you and your mom, especially in this bad weather. I'm continuing to keep all three of you in my prayers. And that bird will be winging its way to you shortly. I'm so glad you didn't leave gaia after all.

Yeah, it is a bit of a drive, but it hasnt been to bad other than a bit of sleeplessness from time to time.

Thanks for yours and everyone elses on-going prayers. 3nodding

Thank Harvey, I am going to go see it it will allow the bird to layer with the previous avi I had on. 3nodding

Hehe I'm glad the bird layered ok for you. It's tricky. I tried it with some other "I am" poses and couldn't get it to work. The hard pack must be the key to success.

I guess lying around in a hospital when you don't feel sick would be boring. I hope your dad at least has a good tv in his room.

Oddly enough it maybe why it worked. (The Hard Pack being a Iam Pose)

The Bird seems to work as long as it doesnt interfer with the top of the avi in anyway.

Both of the other items, (The Grassy Field & Seaside like item) being backrounds seem to work fine as far as I can see without interferance. 3nodding

3nodding Yeah, My Dad is used to being active, (He works with a Lumber Yard/ Housing supply Provider in town) he is used to being up and about walking and cutting glass for windows for screen doors and glass cabinates and loading supplies.

The T.V seems to be good what we Me & Mom have seen while we visited with him. 3nodding

Wow, your father's work is impressive. Working with glass seems very physical and somewhat dangerous. Are there special safety measures needed, like heavy gloves and eye protection?

It's great that you were able to use the pooping pigeon. It made me laugh. That item was voted one of the least favorite free items by people in the Free Items Guild. Lots of the Sour Patch and Skittles items were nominated as least favorite. By people who lack OUR imaginations. lol

He loved being outside and walking and especially helping people find what they needed to build things with. (Supplies)

I think you are suppose to us gloves, but the times Ive ever seen him cutting glass he hasnt been wearing any and I have asked him why he doesnt wear any gloves and he told me they get in the way when he is trying to cut very fine angles and such.

I worry a bit about that, him not wearing gloves or protection, the glass is very fragile I have seen it crack and break while he has been cutting it before.

I like the pigeon pretty well, even though I dont have very many avis it works with. ^8^

And I do like the skittles eyes they gave us a long time ago, I still have those eyes now. ^8^

I suppose your father's expertise from years of handling glass keeps him safe. I would think good quality safety glasses would be a good idea even for him though. I've worn glasses since I was 8. And they've saved my eyes from flying objects a few times.

It's great your father knows how to build things. Does he pass that knowledge on to you?

Yup the Skittles eyes are really something. There actually are quite a few cool Skittles items. I see that the Skittles umbrella is listed as selling for 30 million this morning. It's nice. But not THAT nice.

Skittles Umbrella - 30,000,000
Skittles Crazy Core Shower - 4,000,000
Skittles Rainbow Wristband - 400,000
Skittles Rainbow Jacket - 400,000
Skittles Skinny Jeans - 360,000
Skittles Reward Ticket - 200,000
Skittles Roller Blades - 52,000
Skittles Squirt - 34,000
Rainbow Scarf - 30,000
Aquarium Skittles Fish - 17,000
Skittles Crazy Cores Backpack Ultra - 5,995
Skittles Rainbow - 5,000
Skittles Crazy Cores Top Hat - 990
Skittles Crazy Cores Tuxedo - 985

Yeah, I think he does wear safty glasses every now and again but he doesnt seem to all the time like he should, I wear glasses myself for my eyesite. 3nodding

I can build a little bit, but not much. Most of what I can do is the drawing bit like sketching stuff a little but still not as good with my hands. sweatdrop

Wow, some of those Skittles items are way high. I didnt know any of them were in the millions, I agree though I dont really care much for that umbrella. 3nodding
