"I appreciate what you and yours have done for me regarding my condition." Giving her a slight nod before he dipped his head and went back to biting, chewing, swallowing... Little slow motions seeing as he didn't seem to have much of an appetite. He didn't really want food at the moment. Then again, he wasn't sure what he really wanted... Maybe just to get out of this confining tent. But he glanced up at shuffling sound of tent fabric being drawn aside and his name being called by an all too familiar voice, blinking as Jae was led in. And was she...glowing or just backgrounded by sunlight streaming in? Regardless, he didn't have much time to think on it before he was jumped on and fell backwards onto the cot in his unprepared state, a flair of wings as well as his tail instinctively wrapping around her waist to steady them both. The jerky was all but missing in the confusion but he merely gave her a slight unintentional nuzzle, perhaps to prompt her to look at him. "Hi Jae..." Busying himself with finger-combing her tousled hair for the moment, seeing as her face was still buried against his neck.

He reached out and gently wiped off that smear on her cheek despite the fact that a layer of the oil lingered and she'd still smell it for a while to come. He took the belt and inspected her handiwork, then grinned. "Very good. You are indeed a fast learner. Want to tackle your boots or another piece or are you finished being nice?"
"Don't you show her your nipples!" Hollered out to Kaznec amidst bites and then grinning as Jaebelltiah came in. A little frown as he was more or less ignored though, especially since Kaznec got a hug. "How come I don't get a hug?"
He was none too pleased when she leaped on him and he made a move to come forward and forcibly yank her off, then relented. She wasn't hurting him and it seemed cruel to rip them apart. Especially since Kaznec's shoulders relaxed for the first time since he'd rejoined the waking world. A surreptitious glance back at the little dragon and he shook his head.

"Yes, rest time. you can even go to the pools if you want to. You've done a very good job. if you want go down below and get something to eat. I'm sure you could use it."
though she took her time making sure the men on the hip were fine and were doing their jobs as they were supposed to. she of course was acting as first mate, while Richards for the moment was captain while their real captain was in the camp. though she wasn't beyond thinking an 'accident' might happen to richards.

"Fast learner and good with my hands as well. I don't do my boots like you do yours. But I should be finished being nice for that remark alone." Because she liked to be confrontational but took to rubbing at her cheek instead. That smell was going to be around all day...on her hands, her arm, and her face. At least it was a nice one. "Brave enough to let me try a blade?"
She rolled her eyes at the little dragonling...him and this language was foul in her opinion. Seemed the little one was more concerned with the amount of attention that was being given than with his words. "Because you're eating and all dragonlings need to eat all they're given before other things. Including hugs." Slanting a glance at Dyranthirim as he moved and then apparently decided against his actions. Fellnathir wasn't sure she was happy with that and a growl from her throat made it quite clear that she would take her own actions if things weren't corrected in the next few seconds.
Very much just happy to see him alert and awake and making sense of things rather than babbling and bleeding and slipping in and out of conciousness. But growls among other things gained her attention and she lifted her head, blinking down at Kaznec before it seemed she realized that she had downed him and that others were not happy about it. Of course trying to scramble up wasn't a possibility seeing as his tail was playing anchor. "I'm sorry...you know me. Always excitable..." Slipping off of him as much as allowed and pulling him back up to sit as well. "How are you feeling?..." And why was she asking stupid questions? Oh right, anxious. It was odd too...she could tell the difference...
Merely a little nod from her and she found herself a spot on deck. Time for some sunning!

Of course, he had no real idea of what was going on. Merely that Jae seemed extremely happy to see him and was probably getting all hands-on to see for herself that he was indeed awake and fine now. The low growl distracted him from his silent examination of Jae as well for a second, but his tail released its firm hold around her waist as they were both corrected to a sitting position again. "I'm glad to see you're ok." Another once-over for her though as something tugged his lips into a rare smile... which faded somewhat at her question and he considered it for a moment. Describing things were sadly not his forte but one word did come to mind... "Different." Like instead of giving him something, that potion had taking something away. Strange. "Light-headed too but they said that was part of the side effects of the potion and me regaining consciousness." A slight nod, glancing to the other dragons before meeting her eyes again. "Thank you for bringing my clothes."

"You won't because you know I'm teasing." Watching her with a smirk that soon melted into a much more quizzing look. A blade? It wasn't being brave at all since he knew she'd never turn it on him, at least not without provocation; it was trusting her with something that was precious to him. He'd seen her tackle other tasks and knew how well she felt out problem areas with her hands. Of course this was a blade but she'd dealt with such things before. "Sure. I can take you." Digging into his boot, he removed one of the many daggers on his person, taking her hands and placing it carefully in her palms so that she could feel width and length so she wouldn't cut herself. "Have you ever oiled your blades on your chains before, Vryn?"
He reached out and gently caught Fellnathir's tail with with the claws of his foot to warn her that he wouldn't hesitate to step in if she got out of line. They'd allowed the white dragon to see him and that involved whatever the two conceded to. It was personal boundaries that Nell was becoming upset about and that wasn't her place. "Dragonling, go outside and play with the others. This is an adult situation."
He was less than pleased at being told to leave and he showed it, too. Huffing and puffing as he kicked his way outside the tent before turning back. "Don't you two do nothing!" Shaking his head and muttering to himself.
She was more than happy to see the hugs and bounced along beside the two, 'watching' in her own way.
If Hunter and Des didn't want to listen to her then that was fine with her. They'd never shown her proper respect anyhow. But the plan was going to go on whether or not they likd it.

Yes she was testing him in a way. Who trusted a blind woman with a blade that was probably sharper than most? Well she liked to test such boundaries and she was quite pleased that he handed over the weapon. Of course an assassin's dagger was a prized item to them indeed. Her fingers ghosted over the blades, feeling out the sharp edges and measuring length in her mind, all with infinite care and no hesitance or fear in her actions. Holding out a hand to be given some of the oil she titled her head at his question, "No. When I go home I think they get such a thing done, cleaned as well. I figure elven metal rarely used doesn't need too much worry to it."
Well...it seemed he was fine. Same old Kaznec with that logical wondering look that slightly changed now and then as his head found answers to the questions that were constantly swirling inside. "I think you're supposed to, I felt that too." Indeed she did, though knowing him the definition of 'different' could be ten things in themselves. A little nod and she more or less politely stood before hime, reminded of the silver nearby. "It's no hassle, I figured you'd might want them back. Long as you don't get too overheated again."
A snap of a look over to Dyranthirim as he pinned her tail down in warning. She was well in tune with him enough to know what he was meaning and though she may not like things, he was right. "You can watch them." Thusly tugging her tail away and turning, heading out in tow of the little gold. "My thoughts exactly, dragonling." Shaking her head then frowning as one of her own came up to her, whispering things. "Grr, again? Go get me Lerciana and I'll see if you speak truth." That dragoness was starting to get on her last nerve...

Okay..there wasn't any flaws that he could see. maybe it was defective. but he didn't know how to test it. well he'd still save it for when he did figure out or learn how to work the thing.
Desdemona was looking at the link crystal in her hand, listening to it, before handing it back to Richards.
"That makes things much more complicated."
Not that she cared about the fate of the person on the other end, but they all had favors to call in. no pirate didn't have someone, somewhere, that owed them something. He'd be fine.
"We might want to inform Gem that her first mate's relative may be calling in an IOU on him."

Pausing his thought processes in a moment to gaze at her. She felt what too? That "being different" feeling? But she hadn't been the unconscious one, though he did remember her skin being much colder than his when they were on the ship. To compare such things again, he took one of her hand into his and tested the temperature. Nothing abnormal. "Is it an uncomfortable feeling?" If it was for her, they would have to fix it. The gold male seemed to know how a lot of things worked. Perhaps he'd have more answers or at least something she could take as well. Nodding though, he snapped on his belt again and settled the folded shirt on his lap. "I'll leave these for later when I'm sure." A quizzical look at her then. "How are the others? Is anyone else suffering heat-related side effects?"

He watched her feel out the blade, noting how she communicated what it looked like to her brain through her eyes. He could learn more about how she 'saw' and learned by watching her than he could through talking to her. "Typically. I like to keep mine in tip top shape whether it needs it or not." Dripping a bit of oil onto a rag he pulled out of an obscure pocket and resting it on the blade then covering her hand and once again teaching her how to rub the oil in. "Gently rub it in in concentric circles."
"I will." He kept an eye on the two dragons, leaning against the wall of the tent while they talked. The concern was evident on Kaznec's face and he felt pretty bad about things moving in the direction it was.
She was worried and walked up to her leader with a weight settled on her shoulders. "Yes?"

And there went his 'is she sick' motions as he felt for temperature and the like. She knew what he was doing by the way he was doing it, even if it may look like something else to others. "I suppose at it is...but you just kind of turn your mind from it." They probably weren't even talking about the same thing, but somehow that was okay in this situation. "I think everyone else is doing just fine...the dragons here have been taking care that they're at least temperature comfortable."
"Mine don't get much use in the traditional sense. Make great conductors though." Letting him teach once more in his own way without fuss. It at least gave her something to do until she was sure dragons would discover things and the fireworks would blow up on Deacon. A pause and look to Chy however as he was standing on the sand in front of her, shuffling his feet with noises. "Fidgety."
"What has that bronze been spouting off about this time? Since you so apparently enjoy speaking with her." And her rotten mouth that knew nothing of what it spoke and was polluting minds around here.

Did not like that answer but it seemed there was nothing he could do about it at the moment. Besides, she didn't look like she was in pain. Maybe just a bit disappointed? Though he wasn't very good at playing guessing games with emotions either. The dragons here... well, that proved to be another issue all in itself. He didn't feel like he could trust them. "Then they should all be prepared? We're done here." Standing and keeping a hold on her hand, he allowed himself a moment to clear his head and then moved past Dyranthirim and out of the tent. Scorching sun and blinding glass... The ships were dark contrasts to the landscape and he let his eyes settle on them. "Do we we're headed next?"

"You seem to have a better handle on your magic anyway. It's certainly good to have a physical blade to fall back on. That and conducting evil things..." Because when electricity was coursing through your body, it was extremely evil. A glance over at the bird whom he really didn't like. "Probably because the dragons just made an appearance." Watching the two appear from the tent and then shaking his head. "I don't think he's supposed to be moving yet. "Feeling better, Kaznec?"
Dyranthirim knew Nell didn't want him moving yet and shook his head. "Dragonlord, it'd be best for you to rest and build up your strength." Not to mention the negative reaction he'd get when he showed up with Jae in front of any of the other dragons. She just wasn't accepted out here and it was as simple as that. Oh Nell was going to have his tail for this...
She was definitely in trouble now. Fidgeting with her tail, she swallowed and glanced around to see if anyone was going to come to her rescue. Evidently not...cowards. "She wouldn't leave me alone. She seemed to believe that we were being too harsh on the white...and that she deserved to have questions answer. There also seemed to be a thought about discrimination of sorts between silvers and golds and other metallics? I'm not really sure what that was about though. Oh, and she holds us personally responsible for the deaths of her clan members because we didn't answer their call..."

"But-" He was very intent on leaving wasn't he? Even making sure that she came with him as he walked out of the tent. "Are you sure you're okay? You don't need more rest? I mean you haven't been up too long and I don't want you feeling unwell. " His mind was ever focused though on what was next. Though at the same time that was strange and not strange for him. He seemed more eager than apprehensive of the unknown. "I...don't know. I think the captains have an idea, but I've been pretty much kept away from everyone else."
A snort. "Needs her facts straight before she speaks of me and mine badly or does not know the whole story." reaching out and more or less ruffling the other dragoness' hair in motherly fashion. "Good girl. Pay her no mind and you've done nothing wrong." All that fidgeting was easily read. A roll over her eyes and a look over her shoulder as Kaznec decided that it was time to go. "Why don't you get yourself something special to eat? You deserve it." Another affectionate gesture and then turning herself to the other three. "Eager to leave are you...that's the Laerethe's choice. They need something from us before you all go." As far as the white...Nell's tail spoke of how she felt on that.
"Aren't a fan of being zapped, are you? I suppose I can agree to a part...it is rather bothersome and more trouble than a weapon wound." tilting her head and twitching her ears to the sound of his voice though, eyes giving a blank glance over the area around her, perhaps out of habit. "Maybe this means there's about to be fireworks soon."
