"That's the thing," Seth said, turning around slightly, "I have no idea what to do. Usually Troden is the one with the plans and I follow..with a little twist of my own, but now that he's gone...." he couldn't finish. The very idea that Troden was lost was mind boggling to him.

"This is what I'm thinking," she continued, ignoing his oh dear god, "One them has taken over his body and whoever else, because I know all those dead bodies aren't Troden's doing, so once we find whoever took them over, we should be able to.." She trailed off trying to think what they would have to do to fix this mess.

And if he's controlling Troden, then we're going to need more than just our own powers mental or otherwise. Dorien doesn't care for any life, vampiric or no. He has to be awakened, but he'll wind up causing more terror into the place than what's already going on."
