Paranoia Agent is getting a Blu-ray release. On the one hand, it's $250 and doesn't have any English subtitles. On the other hand, PA is easily in my top ten, the extras sound pretty interesting, and it would be a good incentive to work on learning Japanese. I'm going to be arguing with myself about this until it comes out. gonk

I think I'm going to use the money I get from my 50/50 raffle at my graduation party for Skyrim. The rest (If there is a rest)? College necessities? I unno.

A friend from high school is coming out to visit me tonight. Haven't seen her in almost two years. Probably won't see her again after this summer; she's going off to teach in South Korea. Best friend moved to Alberta a few weeks ago. 'Llegro left last night. Sean and I are going to be moving to different places at the end of this month. Computer's gonna die any day now, and I probably won't see you guys for a while if it does.
There is a message in this trend and I'm not sure if I like what it's saying. I know the only way to move is forward, but maybe I'm not sure which way 'forward' is. I mean, to most people the next step is growing up, but getting a job and becoming a complacent, contributing member of society would feel like a step back for me. I could make some new friends, but to be honest I don't really like people all that much. Sean told me that living on the streets was liberating and eye-opening, but I'm not really sure I have the demeanor for that.
....I. should volunteer. for kids' summer programs. ******** dogwalking and can-sorting, I could spend the summer singing and making crafts and exploring forests and playing games that have been beneath the dignity of my peers for a decade. Sure, I've done it before, but I had the greatest time. Kids are so fun to be around, they're never worried about whether or not they're well-liked or how much it costs to go to Wonderland or how many grass stains are on their clothes at the end of the day. I could see it being really rewarding to help run a summer camp, and I'd probably learn a lot about simple happiness and living in the moment.

I prefer not to feel all sweaty and gross, so if you could just turn the temperature down a notch, that'd be great, thanks.

I'm not sure whether or not I should be excited for the Wii U. On one hand, I'm excited about the Nintendo characters I know and love being rendered in 1080p HD, the graphics should make those uptight 3rd party developers who tended to shy away from the Wii rethink their positions on Nintendo, and the touch screen controller should make for some interesting console gameplay.
On the other hand, it's not as innovative as I had hoped it would be; it seems more like just a fusion of two existing systems rather than something completely new. Also, that controller looks TOO ******** LARGE. It looks as though I might as well be using the original Wii itself as a controller instead.
I have a few other optimistic and pessimistic thoughts about the Wii U, but that should suffice for now.
On another note, my laptop still hasn't been repaired yet, so I'll have to live with the shitty one my parents lent me for a little while longer. I don't know why they keep this thing around. It can't play games worth a s**t, it gets one minute lock-ups every 30 seconds, and it can't process anything very well. I didn't think it was possible for any computer to make Windows 7 as shitty as Vista.
Speaking of buzzkills, my sister is a b***h. It was my ******** turn to have a DVD delivered to me by Netflix, but she placed one of her movies at the top of the list. So now she's getting some sappy 50's romance movie and I'm cheated out of Army of Darkness for at least another week, while I sit around, bored off my a**, filling out job applications that I never get a reply to because 1) the job market is so shitty in my county and 2) managers have a bug up their a** about hiring for only summer help. It's not that I don't have enough money for college, it's that I want some extra spending money so I can get a PS2 because I want to play Devil May Cry and some of the 2-D fighting games like Capcom VS SNK and King of Fighters compilations.
Speaking of Safeway, I'm in the mood for a sandwich. Wheat bread with provolone and muenster, artery-clogging roast beef, lettuce, red onion, bacon, jalepenos or pepperocini, and the final ingredient: tobasco sauce. No mustard or mayo; that kills the tobasco. Now that's a real goddamn sandwich, not the plain old American cheese and low fat turkey. Anyone who eats sandwiches with just American Cheese and Low Fat Turkey is an a*****e and a wuss, kind of like people who just have plain cheese pizza or pizza with pepperoni as the only topping. For God's sake, grow a spine. If you're going to eat Amercian cheese and lowfat turkey sandwiches, at least slather it with hot sauce (either Tobasco or Tapatio)

I'm going to a gay pride fest on the 18th. It will be my first one, so hopefully they recognize me as their rightful queen king when I arrive. And hopefully the consorts I get this time are under 40 and do not have ***** mustaches.
