Jack drew the Warlord Sword right away, and swung it upwards, fierce fire flaring outwards towards the reaper monster.

The reaper was sent back as it regained stability. it faded into the darkness and appeared behind Jack again bringing down its syth on him.
Lloyd intercepted the attack with his swords just inches before it hit Jack.

Temari smiled softly, feeling as though as she could trust his word with her life. She rested her head against his back for a moment before letting go of him, realizing how stupid she looked doing it. She blushed a light pink before taking out her fan and holding it up with one hand easily, ready for this thing to do anything.

"s**t, dude!" Jack shouted, stumbling forward a bit once he realized what was going on behind him. "Thanks for that. Let's see if a little electricity could paralyze it!" he added, switching his sword from fire to, obviously, electricity.
"Teleporting? That sucks!" Etna exclaimed.

the reaper faded again this time appearing behind Lloyd
Lloyd sensed the reaper above him "RISING FALCON!" he yelled as he quickly rose into the air bypassing the reaper and thrusted his entire body at the flying mosnter. knocking it off the air
The monster faded again

Kain shifted to his mist form, becoming all but invisible in the dim lighting.
"Keep your guards up, and keep an eye on the others!" Jack shouted, looking around. He shifted from thermal back to night vision, hoping it would help.
"This is so not as much fun as the zombies would have been!" Etna declared, switching her spear to an axe.

Temari then got an idea and opened her fan once more. "Whirlwind Shroud!" She yelled as she swung her fan and let the air density toughen to form a barrier around themselves, though not entirely inalterable. She sighed softly to herself before looking back at Inuyasha, still alert for the reaper who would attack at any moment.

Temari blinked at Inuyasha after a moment, still holding up her fan at the ready. "Inuyasha...I don't think any of them possess the power of light, sense they are all dark creatures..." She said softly before sighing softly, waiting for this beast to attack. She then looked over at Jack with concern in her eyes. "Are you okay Jack?"

"Uh... As good as can be expected, I guess..." Jack replied, somewhat confused as to why she'd be asking at this time. He didn't get hit, and it really wasn't the appropriate time to be talking about emotional problems.
