He understood what you meant, sometimes talking about things is hard but it was reassuring to show you trusted him.
Well...I want to protect you in any way I can...if making you not talk about things make you more happy I can forgive my own curiosities. I...I can't believe your father would do such a thing....I...it just blows my mind...like when I talked to Zac earlier, she was talking about how horrible her father was...I just feel so bad for you guys....
He pauses and holds your hands in his and circles to where you are looking at him.
Synge...I want to know about your past but only what you like telling me...okay?
Ben felt a bit awkward at making a statement but Synge's life seemed so painful and cold that he didn't want to think about his love in such a situation. He pulled you in to hug you and then held you a moment, just feeling you near him.
If you want your eye back... I will do what I can to help you...if you don't, it doesn't mean I love you any less....
He kissed the tear away and smiled but his smile faded as he heard more stories about who did what.
Hmm...so you might have brothers...Hikaru isn't from the village...What's your cousin like? Ever met him? It sounds like your village is your family...I never had that kind of life...being here must be so odd to you.

*Synge stared out at the sea, trying to find some kind of peace there. She found it in Ben's touch instead. She smiled softly as her took her hands and pulled her to look at him. She looked into his eyes and felt a bit of comfort there. She nodded.*
I want you to know...it is just hard to bring painful things up...Can you understand?
*She felt warm in your embrace, she thought that this was her favorite place to be, in your arms. She thought about what he said, did she want her eye back? She really didn't know. She thought back to when Aykon had offered to help her. Why had she refused? Was it just the timing or something deeper.*
Thank you...I really don't know though...It is a part of me in a way, but...but I also hate it.
*She held you tightly for a moment before responding to your questions about her family and village.*
Well, I could have brothers and sisters really, heh. They wouldn't be from my mother though, I'm the only one that is hers...Yeah, Hikaru isn't originally from the village. He never learned to heal either. He just kind of wandered in to our village one day and he has been the village's child as a whole every since. He doesn't fit in, but everyone always adored him.
*She thought about her cousin for a moment. It had been a while since she had thought about Akito really.*
Hmm, I don't know I guess. The first time I left he was pretty young, but Hikaru has told me that he is a pretty shy person. I know Hikaru and him are close, but I don't know what their relationship is.
*She shrugged.*
I don't know, this place is like a family too. In a way at least.

(( I think we need to hold this RP? I have to head out now...lots of errands to run before it gets too late and then I have to clean house in prep for all our family visiting this weekend.))
I can try to understand Synge...and if you tell me about it....I might be able to understand. But to be honest...I haven't really even noticed your eye when you have been with me...I notice the patch though...heh...without it, I view you as a normal girl...the skin there is just as soft as the rest of you....
He nodded and began walking down the beach moreso, holding you hand in his and stealing a kiss on the lips before answering.
Hmm...well you are the only real family member your dad had...others are just wannabes... heh..Hmm..Hikaru is so interesting, I think I am starting to understand him a little bit more but it is still so odd...I wonder what his real parents were like.
Ben continued walking with you as he headed down the shoreline.
Well...you are kind of shy...I mean...before we got so close. I could see it running in the family. But I am glad you have a family here...who knows...we might start a family of our own someday, if you wanted of course.

*Synge smiled as Ben reassured her. She leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. Her body was warm with comfort, he made her feel so at home. She walked along with him, holding his hands and enjoying the moment, even if the topic of conversation was less than joyous.*
You always say the right things to make me smile...thank you for loving me.
*She smiled and kissed his cheek as they walked. She nodded at what he was saying about her dad and Hikaru. She had often wondered about Hikaru's parents, she didn't know if Hikaru did though. He seemed like he would try to forget that anything was odd about his past.*
He is odd, heh, but that is alright. I'm glad you are starting to understand him a bit, he can be hard to take in if you aren't falling all over him like most people do, heh.
*She looked out to the water as they walked, watching the waves slowly roll in.*
I think he is really shy though, like way beyond what I am. I doubt you'll ever meet him though, so it doesn't really matter.
*She stopped walking abruptly when you mentioned starting a family of their own. Her heart sped up and she smiled nervously. She had never even considered that kind of thing honestly. Before Ben, she never thought she would love a person, so a family was a bit of a jump for her.*
Heh, right, yeah, heh.
((I wanted to post now so I wouldn't forget what I was going to say/do, heh. Now it is PAUSED. *huggles BNB back*))

*Hikaru returned from his day in town and had done what he went there to do. He thought about his meeting and wondered where things would go from here. Akito would soon find Synge and do whatever it was that the villagers really sent him here to do. It wasn't very hard to guess what the village was up to, but he wasn't sure how they planned to do it. He worried about Synge, maybe he should say something to Ben? He sighed as he walked between trees. He felt a little warm so he rolled the sleeves of his jacket up as he walked. He saw the tavern in the distance but didn't feel like returning right now. He stopped and leaned up against a tree, taking out a cigarette and lighting it with a small red lighter he had just bought from town. He felt like he was going to be smoking a lot more now. Things were about to heat up, he could feel it in the air.*

*Clever awoke alone in Hikaru's bed, it made her sad that he was never there when she woke up. Maybe if she didn't sleep so much when she did sleep, she would be able to wake up with him. She slipped out of bed eventually. It really would've been nice to wake up to both Akito and Hikaru, she sighed and made the bed. Then went to her room changed and came down.
After tugging on her boots, she did the dishes she had left in the sink last night. Clever would've cleaned up the rest of the tavern if it had been in any way dirty. With a small stretch she went to sit out on the porch.*

*Akito woke up with a start, and looked around quickly as if he was expected to see some danger. He sighed with relief when he realized that he was just in the tavern.*
Must have fallen asleep...
*He yawned and stretched, hating how he was always so quick to fall asleep. He stood up and looked around, but saw no one. He remembered Hikaru had left earlier today and he wondered if he had returned. He saw that it was dark outside and decided that it would be good to get some fresh air. He walked over to the doors and opened them to head outside, letting the close quietly behind him. He saw Clever sitting on the porch and he felt nervous instantly. He wasn't sure if he should talk to her, considering how awkward he would be. He took a deep breath and approached her.*

*Akito jumped back a little when Clever jumped. He resembled a nervous rabbit, or other small creature. He looked around as he spoke, not wanting to look directly at Clever. His voice, however, was more sturdy than his actions would suggest.*
Have you seen Hikaru?

*Akito nodded at Clever's answer and then quickly glanced at her. Since he noticed that she wasn't looking at him he was able to keep his gaze on her for a bit longer. He watched her hair blow in the breeze and wondered what she was thinking about. Staying a little bit away from her, and still standing, he tried to strike up a normal conversation.*
