I play flute. (oh yeah, it's in my name) I lve playing it. I have first chair even though I was in the concert band class, mostly freshman, like me, and I had a solo for contest. Man, solos are fun when you have them down. I love playing and I am even skipping a lunch next year just to continue. My little brother plays alto and it can get annoying when he is playing loud right next to you, but that is what those really high notes are for! You know, double G-D. I've got fingerings for those if anyone wants them.

ok concerts coming up in 1 week.were doing easy songs but only me and the drummers think its easy cause we actually practie

i'm also a flutist, and it rocks, but i still can't believe the other flutist in my band can't play it well, its really easy biggrin

I play the piccolo too but im not that great at it...I'm always flat sad

I play flute and piccolo! I also play piano though, but flute was my first. So that makes it special. hehe! I love playing so much!!! Rawr! blaugh

Flutes are awesome. I'm going to try the guard this year in marching band tho. I'm still in concert band! WOO-HOO! This is our last week of skool, then comes marching band rehersals for once or twice a month. Then in August, BAND CAMP starts, for two whole weeks, and three days the week after that if we really need the practice. If we only have one or two flutes for marching band, then I'll play the flute. WE'RE DOING THE INCREDIBLES THIS YEAR! Last year we did three songs of CHASE!

hey! i play the flute too!!! im in marching band, GI, and concert band. they are awesome!!!!! this summer is going to be my second year in marching band so then i wont be the new little people!!! my band is tiny since my school is really small. but this year my bff is going so ill have a friend to hang out with!!! flutes rule!!!!
