[Jenny :: Mothership :: Halls of the Ship]

The mage followed alongside Riku and Dani but instead of keeping an eye out for the agromancer, she was keeping an ear out... if that made sense at all. She paused for a second and closed her eyes as they journeyed through the halls, picking out Noelle's song out of the entire mothership. It wasn't an easy feat to do, she was getting so much feedback and interference from other people that she almost felt a throbbing headache starting to swim in her head. "Hold on guys, I think I can locate her..."

It was like a golden harp string leading straight to Noelle's heart, her melody still faint due to the distant, but the lead was there. With her eyes still shut, she pointed in the direction of the song. "Hold on Noelley, I think I've got it... I mean I hear you... like a stalker in a horror movie... just kidding! I mean your heartsong..." Golly green gorillas, you sound like a creeper Jen. When Jenny opened her eyes, she realized she was pointing at the ceiling and she groaned. "Maybe a floor or so up? No problem! These legs were made for racing up stairs and through hallways."

[Zidane :: Hawaii :: Mothership]

"Sounds like you guys have it tough," Zidane commented, a slight frown on his face. He didn't think he'd be able to handle some random dude screaming in agony in his head. Talk about invasion of privacy right there. And how awkward did that have to be? Even if it was the enemy. The genome shuddered and patted Kyle sympathetically before his ears perked at his words.

"Airships you say? I love airships! Don't mind me, I'll just tag along... of course, until they give me some other stuff to do," he added the last bit hastily as not to seem too lazy. Besides, what was there to do on a gigantic mothership anyways? Aside from get lost. Plus, he needed to protect the ladies.

Sayrike::Mothership

The masked girl shook her head. "No, no, don't worry, you don't need to apologize for anything." As always, Sayrike felt a little awkward when someone apologized to her. She never felt like she really deserved one. "I understand it must be really tough for you guys, especially if every day is like this one. I'm sorry if it seems like I was intruding and poking where I shouldn't. I mean, I'm an outsider, and I have no right to be involved in your businesses or tell you how to do anything." It was kind of true, though, Sayrike had been a little more forward--and a little more rejected--today than any other day of her life. Heck, she even got chewed out by Zexion earlier. Maybe it was because she had been away from people for so long that she made herself uncharacteristically intrusive.

How ironic that I take his apology as a reprimand. Mom's still right, I'm too hard on myself.

Sayrike folded her arms across her chest and looked down, shifting her weight onto her right foot. "Well...if the Dutchman was a low point, then I guess I've survived one of the worst times you guys've had." She refrained from saying that things could have been worse--they could have been starved for days, sunbaked and sleepless and alone. But that would have sounded like bragging instead of encouragement, and she wasn't trying to one-up them in past trials. Had she even told anyone yet of her past? Wasn't important anyway.

A pause. She was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Was there a "but" coming after the apology? A serious, pressing question? Was he going to ask her to leave? She continued to keep it light. "Hopefully tomorrow is better, yeah? At least you will all be fighting together and not having to worry about friends on another part of this planet." Sayrike didn't include herself and say "we" because she'd afraid that would be too forward again, plus it left the conversation open for Kyle to send her off or ask her to stay, whatever he chose, if that's what he wanted to talk about. Plus, how long is it until you label someone as a 'friend'? If today had taught her anything, it was to be cautious and reserved.

[ ??? : Flying Dutchman : Below Deck ]

He was glaring at her. Fish dude had a body shaped roughly (to understate it) like that of a man, and a head in the shape of hammerhead shark. He had been staring at her for several minutes as she searched through the nasty cargo hold, or whatever it was, for rum. She kept repeating the word 'rum' in her best imitation of Jack Sparrow's voice, seemingly oblivious to fish dude's glares.

And she found it. It was all in barrels, of course, and Amy's Replica was entirely without a flask or a cup. She picked the barrel up and went back out on deck. Fish dude looked like he might try to stop her, but he never did; he chose to growl instead. She ignored him, and emerged on deck with an entire barrel of rum, and no cup to put it in.

[[Louis : Mothership : Bridge]]

Louis nodded in response to Sayrike, patting her on the shoulder as she turned to leave. She didn't seem particularly interested in answering his question, she just changed the subject and left. With a sigh, Louis shook off the sense of disappointment and moved on. Louis waited till most of them had exited the bridge, then followed suit soon after. He looked around, keeping an eye out for anyone straggling behind. His thoughts, while on the current transfer to the other ship, were on Ajora's request, What could he possibly want to discuss that he could just do over his seal?

Louis sighed as both his frustration and curiosity plagued him, If it was THAT important, then I have no choice but to meet with him, however... Louis looked around at those gathering in the hallways preparing to switch ships. A thought crossed his mind like a distant ping on a sonar something was heading his way. Louis lowered his mental guard and spoke to Ajora via the seal, "Something just came up... I'll be there shortly after all. I'll contact you again when I'm ready." Louis stopped and turned down another hallway, the moment he did so, should anyone somehow spot him despite his careful preparation, they would find an empty hallway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

[[Louis : Narnia : Seymour's Castle - Main Hall]]

A lone dark portal opened in the foyer of the main hall of Seymour's castle. There were footsteps but no body to match them with. A moment later, Louis' figure flickered into view like an old television set catching a signal. Several of the guado servants stopped and recognized him as an icy blue light shined from his torso and darkness flowed over his body, covering the tattered clothing from before in a pseudo-gothic black and purple top with uniquely designed shoulder guards and a dark purple-red gem latching the two pieces of cloth together. The entire top was tailored perfectly to line his sides and flow with the similarly colored black-purple pants combining a sense of elegance with the very essence of darkness flowing from every stitched design. His eyes, while they remained normal, had a sharpness to the pupil, striking similar fear as those of a snake ready to strike its prey.

A lone guado broke from his duties directing the others repairing a broken spot in the ceiling and walked over to Louis with a bow, "Master Louis, we weren't expecting you, shall we fetch you something to eat?"

"Relax, I'll only be here for a moment, but thank you," Louis paused before continuing, "I didn't notice that there before, what happened?"

"It was here the last time you and the other young lord were here. We had it covered up as to not disturb your meeting with the mistress. Is there something else I could help you with?" The older guado was slow to speak, but clear in his words, Louis both admired this, but his time was short.

"I need to go to the armory. Bring me any machina you have on hand, then find me a technician who knows how to work with them. I need them quickly."

"Of course," The guado may not have understood the meaning of quick words, but haste in foot he was. The man sped off as Louis walked swiftly towards the armory below ground.

---------------------------------------------------------------

[[Louis : Narnia : Seymour's Castle - Armory]]

About 10 minutes past and Louis could feel time ticking away on Ajora's patience. The young guado finished making the modifications on the machina Louis requested. The boy bowed to Louis and handed him a device shaped like a thick disk with legs. "It's done... I will not ask what you will use it for... but be careful with it."

"I will thank you." Louis turned with the machina clutched close to his chest while darkness once more covered his body from head to toe, this time, forming his black armor he had not dawned himself since he had originally fought to protect the lab in which the replicas were created. It was a strange feeling of nostalgia and terror that swept over him as his head was encased by the black helmet and his vision became tinted in a red-esk purple before fading back to normal, though something felt different than before but Louis could not tell what, Louis heard once more a familiar voice in his head, "The coward returns to the forefront of battle once more... a welcome change for someone so wanting."

"Mateus... it's been awhile since I've heard you speak so clearly in my mind. Is it comforting to know your avatar plans to make contact with an angel, a seraph in fact? He who harbors within him the very devil himself?"

"Foolish hume, you cannot know the will of gods. Take your notions elsewhere. My hate lies not with that one."

Louis raised an eyebrow, "I see. Well, let's go see what the angel has to say shall we?"

As Louis' increased power sank away from Ajora's seal, the upper thoughts of Louis' mind became available again. All that had transpired had been invisible to the replica despite the seal remaining unbroken. A portal and a giant shard of black crystal appeared before and beside him as Louis sent a message to Ajora, "I'm ready."

[ Ajora ; James : Pharos Lighthouse -> Castle That Never Was : Maria's Study -> Altar of Naught ]

"Then I shall bid thee adieu," Ajora said, bowing and stepping back. Upon rising, he clasped a charm around his left wrist (he'd probably find somewhere else to place it later, though since they were not tied to their own sets of magic clothing, losing them was a possibility to keep in mind) and turned to the side. He lifted the same arm in a parting wave. "I'll be sure to stay in touch!"

With that wave and a small grin, he turned to Alice and Azrael, who had been quiet, and opened a Corridor between them. James, however, had moved from his spot in the corner and had begun to follow Ajora once again. "Ever onward!"

With that, he (and James) stepped through the Corridor, which remained open for the two of them to follow through.

---

[ Lettie : London -> Castle That Never Was : ??? -> Altar of Naught ]

Lettie patiently and politely waited for Elleon and Artemis to finish, lowering her head further at the raised index finger to indicate she would do so. She did not move at the sound of the arrow's flight, nor the screams of the newly-departed; her only movement occurred when Elleon finally spoke to her, at which point she rose to her full height and stepped backward into a Corridor of Darkness. This Corridor would lead her to just a few feet away from where Nicholas was sitting on the ledge of the descending staircase.

Lettie, however, never appeared on the other side of the Corridor; to Nicholas, it would simply seem like a Corridor had opened, and the first (and only) person to step out would be Elleon. The Corridor would then close directly behind her.

---

[ 'Ajora' : Narnia -> Castle That Never Was : Seymour's Castle -> Altar of Naught ]

There was only the small hum of acknowledgement as a Corridor of Darkness opened up, allowing the armored knight entrance. This Corridor would lead him to just a few steps down the staircase from where Nicholas was sitting on the ledge.

As he appeared on the Altar of Naught, however, the large crystal Louis brought with him had transformed into a large Heartless beast, crystalline in form; this minion, towering over himself and the others at 9-feet-tall, stood a few steps below Louis.

---

[ Ajora ; James : The Castle That Never Was : Altar of Naught ]

Ajora's Corridor, unlike Louis', Elleon's, and Nicholas', opened up on the opposite side of the circular platform, directly beyond the last pair of Enslaved Replicas (Kyle and Alan, though there didn't seem to be any particular order for the two lines). When he initially stepped through, he was smiling, pleased to see them-- but for the briefest of moments, the smile slipped as one of his eyes twitched; the grin was back before they could blink, though, so it was entirely possible they missed it.

"Good, good, we're all here, then!" he said, smiling as he began to walk down the aisle of mindless puppets, Alice, Azrael and James likely right behind him. He held out both hands as he did so, and due to the proximity of the two rows, they were close enough that he could touch their chests as he did so. It was then that it became apparent why he'd organized them in that fashion--

It was not so that he would have some 'royal procession' (though, with Ajora's typical flair for the theatrical, it may well have been a secondary reason). With every mindless, will-less chest that he touched, a crackle of Dark energy spouted from his finger tips.

And from their chests, their twisted, corrupted Hearts came forth into his palms before disappearing, stored away. Due to having no will or mind to resist, there was no effort required in taking their hearts- even the inexperienced Nicholas would have had little trouble in separating the hearts from their respective slaves.

Due to the Slave Crowns' stabilizing effects on the body, the Enslaved Replicas' bodies remained-- as a matter of fact, they seemed entirely unchanged by the fact that their hearts had just been ripped from their coil.

"And you've brought company, Louis," Ajora mused, looking up at the bestial Heartless, appraising it as he walked toward the stairs, having passed the last pair of Replicas-- all ten hearts had been taken. "Good, so did I. However, this is not the best place to meet- shall we all head downstairs? If I can remember the turn, there's this wonderful little room away from prying eyes..."

[[ For clarification, I suppose: the 'World Amalgam' basically means the massive world that is made up of all the other worlds. That's right: The World That Never Was is not fused with the rest of the worlds and still hovers around in the Darkness close by. From the World That Never Was, looking up, you can clearly see the combined worlds (the 'World Amalgam') as if you were looking at a planet from its moon. ]]

[[Louis : Castle That Never Was : Altar of Naught]]

The Devil's Vanguard stood at the edge of the altar, greeted by none other than Nick, another being cursed with the same fate as his own, He's working with Ajora as well? Wait... what is that?

Louis was about to greet Nick with an exclamation of surprise at the backdrop in the sky, when another portal opened near simultaneous with his own and out of it stepped Noelle's replica. He did not know her name, but Louis clasped his mouth shut and stared silently from behind his helmet's visor for the entire remainder of the procession.

The large crystalline beast behind him loomed over Louis' shoulder the entire time. One of its massive fists held it up in a hunched over position, perfectly still with an unwavering gaze. Louis felt a chill run up his spine as Ajora proceeded to remove the hearts from every replica filed side by side, Why aren't they resisting?

Finally Ajora reached the end of the line and faced Louis, "And you've brought company, Louis,"

"I did..." Louis was not sure how Ajora would take his uninvited guest.

"Good, so did I. However, this is not the best place to meet- shall we all head downstairs? If I can remember the turn, there's this wonderful little room away from prying eyes..."

Louis nodded while his company moved slightly to the side and out of their way. With a cautious glance back at the other replicas, Louis at last turned and was the first to follow Ajora down the stairs towards their destination.

[ Kyle : Hawaii : Halls of the Ship ]

Kyle caught on pretty quickly when Sayrike used the word 'you' and not 'we', but made no mention of it yet. Picking up on specific wordings was something he strove for-- even moreso now that he had to make sure his own Replica wouldn't trick them any more than they could survive.

"Yeah, it's nice that we're all together, sure, but," he began, crossing his arms as he strolled down the halls. His gaze was pointed mostly downward, as if he only cared about where his next step would take him. "There's still so much left. I don't know, I mean, we can't be everywhere, and what if- what if we don't get somewhere in time? Port Royal, for instance-- if we'd been just half an hour later, Jacob and Quistis would be dead. How many other innocent people, Earthling or otherwise, are out there dying now? Heck, for that matter, just how many others like us are there left?"

His arms seemed to tighten around him the longer he spoke to the point where he was tightly gripping his bicep with white fingers. The pause had been an obvious hesitance to continue, so Sayrike might have thought to speak up, but then Kyle abruptly spoke up again.

"We have to keep going. We don't have any leads on Earth, but at the very least we know we're helping keep the people of this universe safe," he said before glancing to Sayrike over his shoulder. "If you don't want to stick with us, no one's holding you back. But... you should go to Disney Castle, with the rest of these people. I've got a friend who decided to stay there, actually. It's the safest place in the world, and if you want you can still help out 'the cause', whatever Mickey and Merlin have planned. Wandering the world alone... especially now that they practically have your scent because of us..."

[ Riku : Hawaii : Halls of the Mothership ]

Riku couldn't help but chuckle at Jenny's frustration. "Well, there's a stairwell right through here, so we're not too far off," he explained, nodding his head down the hall way before motioning for the two of them to follow him.

---

It didn't take too long to jog up the two flights of stairs, bringing the trio to Noelle's floor. "Alright, so, which way from here?"

[Nicholas :: The Castle that Never Was :: Alter of Naught]

The Dark Knight jumped as the portals appeared, dropping off the Avatar of the Blood Angel Ultima, the cold Avatar of Mateus, and the big b*tch of the Replicas, Elleon. He immediately regained his composure, adjusting his glasses and rising to his feet. He looked again, realizing that the Replicas with the crowns adorning their heads had been sitting there the whole time. Quietly. It was a little disturbing, but he shrugged it off and turned towards Ajora.

"Forgive my laid back attitude, Lord Ajora. I would have prepared tea, but I was unaware how many guests you were going to bring to our little soiree." He chuckled, his heart racing at an insane pace. With everyone here, that could only mean that something awesome was going to happen, He was going to get more powerful with all those Dark hearts Ajora had pulled out. A monsterous grin formed; he was going to have fun tonight.

[Noelle ~ Hawaii ~ Mothership ~ Halls]

Noelle laughed at Jenny, lacing her fingers behind her back and leaning against a wall. "Just promise me you won't jump out at me. I can't guarantee your safety. My natural reaction to surprise is 'ATTACK SCARY THING, BWAHH.'"

[Elleon ~ The Castle That Never Was ~ Altar of Naught]

Elleon left Artemis to do her job and followed Lettie into the portal. When she stepped out the other side she took in her surroundings and made a note of all who was there. This was going to be an interesting meeting indeed. And then Nick opened his mouth and her feeling of excitement faded a bit. She sighed a bit and pressed her fingers to her forehead.

"I'm terribly curious Ajora, so let's not keep me waiting, sweetie." The dark agromancer smiled, "Lead the way."

[Jenny :: Hawaii :: Halls of ze Mothership]

"Duly noted!" The time mage responded, making a mental note not to jump the agromancer. Had she not warned her, Jenny most definitely would've tried it; and then ultimately... she'd lose an ear or something. Maybe half of her hair would be gone, chopped off by a razor leaf attack.

Jenny closed her eyes and focused, spinning in a circle once Riku asked for the next steps but she made sure she spun slow enough that it wouldn't throw off her own orientation. Then, with a smile she bounded off in a direction, casting a quick glance to others before looking back forward just to make sure she didn't have a head on collision with an alien. "This way~!" She felt genuinely pleased with herself as she rounded the corner, spying Noelle leaning against a wall. "Found ya!"
PostPosted: Fri Sep 02, 2011 11:38 pm

[Alice :: Castle That Never Was :: Altar of Naught]

Alice stepped through the portal; her eyes automatically taking in each detail of the surroundings. From the replicas with slave crowns to the ones without such as Elleon who she had seen little of since joining Ajora and the others on the Dutchman, and finally to the two avatars that were unlike them. Nicholas, she had seen prior to their little fiasco at the lighthouse, but the other... Alice narrowed her eyes at the Avatar of Mateus. Her memories served her well in reminding her of their first meeting in Halloween Town. She kept her silence, going on to observe Ajora as he extracted the hearts out as easily as if they were candy nestled into a chocolate Easter egg.

How easily their wills had been torn from them. Had they been created with the first batch as Elleon, Azreal, Ajora and the others... they might have had a chance, but now, they were mere pawns in a bigger game; shuffled around without a second thought cast for their well-being. Alice smiled, they were all not ones for compassion. Anyone that came seeking them for such were fools. To them, everything had an ulterior motive, something else behind the mask of a smile.

The animator kept all other thoughts to herself, finding it best not to dwell too long on them; especially as the procession of events continued onward. Keeping an air of formality and distance, Alice followed the others with her plush hovering close by.

[Azrael: Castle That Never Was: Altar of Naught]

Follow, follow, follow. That's all he seemed to be doing lately. And frankly, he didn't seem to be getting much out of it. Which was...dreadfully frustrating, as Ajora might put it.

But f*** how he might put it. It was f***ing infuriating.

He had to stamp out his cigarette as the ember started to touch the filter. And burning filter wasn't worth it. So he just lit up a new one. If anyone had a problem with it they could suck his c***. And he'd give someone a glare that said just that if they mentioned it. The smoke was mildly relaxing to the male, for reasons unknown. It was a poison to the system...not like it really mattered to him, though.

Follow, follow, follow. That's all he seemed to be doing lately, and continued doing so. Eventually he'd figure out what the hell was going on. That meant with the hearts and the bodies without them, of course.

[Anthony ~.~ Mothership ~.~ Halls of the Ship]

Anthony simply rolled over onto his stomach and stuck his rear into the air when Dawn told him and Demyx to get a move on it. "There," he muttered, his face half-buried in his pillow. "My lazy butt is up." However, when the girl had taken his shoe, things quickly changed.

Quickly sitting up, he looked at Dawn with complete anguish and disbelief, then said with a heavy tone, "My shoe..." Though little did the girl know the young man was quicker than he seemed. He enjoyed running, and he wasn't half bad at it either. Though he could build up quite the momentum on a straight away, he never quite got turning down while moving at such speeds.

Springing out of bed, the moment the knight's feet touched the ground, he bolted off after Dawn and into the hallways. Eventually, he also ran passed Kyle and Zidane, and was quickly hot on the tessen-wielder's trail. The corridors made him feel like he was running even faster than usual, however, catching up to the girl was more difficult than he had imagined.

Soon his legs grew tired of carrying him and breathing became difficult. He slowed down to a less than a sprinting speed, then even slower until he began to jog, then jig, then walk, and then finally came to a complete stop, hunched over and breathing heavily.

"Come back here, woman!" he said in between breaths. "Give me back my shoe!" He leaned against the corridor's wall and slid down to a sit. "I'll get you eventually," he yelled after the girl. "And when I do, you'll be sorry!"

[Dawn : Mothership : Halls]

Dawn was laughing as she ran down the pathways. As she continued down the hallway she soon spotted Kyle and Sayrike. Looking for an escape from the Knight that was chasing her. She ran behind Kyle where she hoped Anthony wouldn't see her.

"Hide me," Dawn mumbled to the Swallow wielder as she remained behind him.
