A grin was in Rave's eyes as his face stayed passive. He nodded in thanks and soon was gone. As he went downstairs, the elf couldn't help but chuckle softly. Something was there with the two in the other room, but he didn't know what. A friendship maybe? That would be good. Kalore needed as many people as he could have around him right now. Speaking of Kalore, the blonde twitched in his sleep and rolled over again, starting to wake up but he really didn't want to...

Monty didn't notice that Kalore was waking up. He was busying himself with work so that he didn't have to think about Kalore or about the runt, the situation or about Gambler and her very own elf. It seemed that everyone was started to attach themselves to a elf of their own. Wait, Monty didn't have one so why was he including himself into that group?

Rave came in and handed the man his water, nodding to him. "I'll leave you be for now...I'm going to make food in a couple of hours unless you're hungry now. If so, just tell me when you are." He nodded to Monty in thanks once again and walked out of the room. Kalore turned again, the soft voice of Rave bringing him closer to the world of the awakened people. And he really didn't like it...

Monty nodded and when Rave left he drank some of the water and placed it next to his chair and sat more comfortably, reading his book and reading softly outloud the passages in his lanugae with perfection.

Eyes opening slowly, Kalore listened to what was being said with some interest. The language was one that he wasn't familiar with, but Monty was the one who was in there so it must have been his natural language. Kalore didn't show that he was awake, just wanting to listen in on what was being said.

Monty was reading the about many different creatures that hell has documented in all the years of the world. It was his favorite pasttime to do. He continued to read in his language, slightly losing himself and not noticing that Kalore was up but then, the elf wasn't making it seem like he was.

After a little while, Kalore slowly sat up and turned so that he was sitting cross legged, listening. As he thought, he was hearing Monty, but the elf didn't make a single sound, thankful of the training of being a sniper. What the man was saying was interesting him greatly, but Kalore was trying to listen in and find out what he was talking about.

Monty continued to read slightly louder. He turned the page and then put it down, writing something in it and next to it, looking like a scholar instead of a mean, warrior demon. This was a good way to pass the time until Kalore woke up. At least he still thought so.

Leaning on his arms, Kalore continued to watch and listen. Even if he wanted to tell Monty to look up, that he was awake, how was Kalore going to do that? There was the option of throwing something at the demon, but he didn't think that that would go over well. Added to that...Monty looked so different... It was interesting and it was even more interesting when he began to speak.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Monty sighed and stood up, pacing with the book in his hand trying to think of the specific words that were missing in the next passage. He was restoring this book and now he couldn't think of the words to place in then. When he turned around he looked at Kalore but kept pacing and then he stopped to look at him, blinking. "How long have you been up?" If Kalore was woken up by him reading then he was in trouble for not letting the male sleep in peace.

Kalore thought on that for a moment but held up five fingers, "Five or ten minutes." He shrugged and then pointed to the book that Monty had been reading from and writing in, the question obvious in his eyes. "What's that for, Monty?"

Monty blinked and mentally kicked himself for not being alert and held the book behind him. "It's nothing important. Nothing at all. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry or thirsty?" He asked, hoping that would distract the elf.

Blinking a couple of times, Kalore gave Monty a look that screamed, "You're speaking to a curious elf. You really think I'm gonna forget this you moron?" He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, waiting for the answer to come. But while he was waiting, Kalore shook his head. He wasn't hungry or thirsty, and the dream he had confused him too much to be considered good...

Monty glared fierecely at the elf. "You have lucky to be in the situation that you are in. Otherwise I would murder you with this book and it's none of your business." He growled and went to sit at his chair taking a sip of his water and putting the book away from Kalore's view.

Kalore sighed and rolled his eyes, leaning his arm on his crossed legs as he watched the man. The elf's notebook was out of reach, so unless Monty got it for him, that was gone. Instead he just watched, wondering what that book was about. "I liked it..." Kalore was talking about the language that Monty had been talking in. It was... interesting, and probably demonic or whatever it was that the demon spoke.
