I'm a flute player 2. I'm technically in a band w/ mostly freshman since I just moved to from TN to WA. it was kinda fun, but it's a pain since I have 2 listen 2 the freshman flute who is the section leader 4 our class even though we have one for all the flutes. @ my school there are 3 bands. Concert band (freshman band), symphonic band(sophmores and some Juniors), and a Wind ansamble(Mostly Juniors and Senoirs, but some freshman and Sophmore if really good). I kinda dont like being in concert band just bcz I just moved here and u have to b in concert band first b4 u can do the other bands.

Every guy flute I've ever seen is amazing! I went to a solo/ensemble competition and a guy flute went right before my solo. Me and my friend were amazed at his awesomeness! I like guy flutes! lol There aren't any in my band, though. I go to a pretty small school so we have a kinda small band. I've been playing the flute for seven years! That seems like such a long time! blaugh

i play the flute! biggrin the i dont like 2 brag but... im chair 2/5!the only reason im not 1st is because i dont wanna play against the 1st flute cuz i dont like her that much... ~lol~ i can plat Phantom of the Opera and Surfin USA and lots more that i dont wanna list rite now! ~lol~ rofl xd dramallama

FLUTES ARE AWESOME! i also go to a small skool, so we dont have very many ppl. we have one guy flute, and he sucks. guy flutes r awesome, cept him. if u check out my journal, i have a section called "Its a Band Thing." check it out!

im first chair in my band and we have i think 5 or 6.2 of them just came from the Beginner band and they honestly suck.
I am happy.i got a new practice book. biggrin
