"I may be but your still not." He grumbled some more and pulled Kalore back to him. That action surprised him beyond understanding. There was no way that he liked having the elf this close. No way in HELL did he like this elf this close or anyone but he found that a small part of him did. Yeah, this caring for someone business was seriously starting to scare him.

Shock was evident in Kalore's face as he blinked, "Um..." But he didn't fight against the motion, secretly liking it a lot more than he would even admit to himself. Nodding, he leaned back, comfortably as Kalore's eyes closed, "Thank you, Monty..." Why was this demon caring so much? He had no clue.

Why did he care so much? They hardly know each other and he could easily break Kalore with his hand no matter how much the elf fought. He was just that strong and evil in ways no one had begun to image. Though the mere thought of himself harming Kalore was as revolting as harming a little baby or animal. Which, he never did that. He had values and morals that barely any of the demons of Hell had.

It was odd, really, how being in the arms of someone who you just knew was going to protect you made things easier. Soon, Kalore's body relaxed completely. The elf, amazingly, had fallen asleep while being in Monty's hold. A small smile was on his lips as he thought about the situation. Out of all of this, there was one good thing, and that was Monty...Wait, what?!

Monty looked down at Kalore and raised a brow. He fell asleep. On him? No way? He wasn't the comfortable to have fallen asleep on. Mentally shrugging, he gently moved Kalore and picked him up to place him on the bed so that he could sleep more comfortably. He placed a blanket on him and went to sit on his chair. Opening his book, he let himself get lost in it while wondering what the hell was wrong with him. There was a lot wrong with him but he didn't know where to begin.

Kalore continued to sleep for about an hour as Rave walked in. The dark haired elf blinked and nodded to Monty, his calm facade still present. "Thank you, Monty. If you wish to stay watch, which would be nice, is there anything you would like me to bring you?" It had been about two hours since Rave had sent Monty up here, so he was curious.

Monty had his usual mask of aloof, indifference and turned to look at Rave. "If that offer includes either head of that runt or the heathen then I would greatly like that. Otherwise, no thank you. Once the elf wakes up I will get him something and then myself." He turned to look back at his book as if nothing occurred hours ago. He wasn't moving anywhere that would alarm Kalore and well, he didn't want to leave him by himself.

Raising a brow, Rave leaned against the doorframe, "Um...Sorry, but neither of those things are on the menu...I guessed at why you dislike Gambler, but may I ask why you dislike Eldin so much?" He knew about the accusations, and Rave wasn't stupid enough to just disregard them. That boy was on watch all the time, if not by Rave himself then by shadows. What he didn't know was why Monty didn't like him so much...It couldn't have been what happened to Kalore, could it?

Monty looked over his shoulder again, with a raised brow. "I have many reasons for my dislike of the elf. If you would kindly tell me your assumptions on the ones you believe I have against Gambler then I would be cooperative to share my thoughts on the runt." He didn't like that innocent fascade because he didn't believe that anyone could be that innocent. You could to the extent. The Twin's didn't count because they are still boys in a grown man's world who have been shielded from as much harm as possible by all of them in the group.

"You're a demon...She's a seraph...Both of you are fallen...It doesn't take much to put two and two together Monty." Rave raised a brow at that. He really didn't think that it would be that difficult. He has asked Kyin about it and the man had said that Rave was right, but how the old man knew he wasn't going to ask... "Now...is it because of what all is happening recently?" The thoughts were back to Eldin now as Rave kept his voice low.

A corner of his mouth went up slightly. "It's deeper than that but you don't need to know the details of that." He looked at Kalore and then closed his book. "It has everything to with this situation. Not with the blonde elf the whole thing." He said amazingly quiet. "There is a reason why I'm here and not Gambler. I would explain more but I don't trust these walls with such fine hearing from elves." He said, hoping that Eldin was sleeping or not paying attention.

Blinking, Rave sighed. "Eldin's sleeping. If he's not, his room has been sound proofed to where I know everything that goes on in that room but he has no clue on anything outside of his own room. I've taken precautions as well... As for Gambler...Is more than her causing your fall?" He was as curious as Kalore, but normally Rave had more control than the other elf. Looking at his friend, a look of sadness crossed over the man's normally perfectly calm face.

Monty nodded slightly but grumbled a foreign curse about the angels. "It has to do with her mostly and with one other. Though that one is dead, I just need her pretty head on a platter to make the set complete." If this elf wanted to know all about his fall then he was more than welcomed to know but the male had better sit down as well because it was a long and complicated story that if the author tried to write all over again, she might get in trouble for writing a full book about it in one post.

Rave sighed but nodded, "I see...Well, I would prefer it if she was left alone for as long as possible...for obvious reasons..." A sound from the bed alerted him, so he didn't speak. Blinking a few times, Rave watched as Kalore turned over but his friend didn't wake up. He sighed and shook his head, "I'll get you some water unless there's something else you'd like...?"

"Water would be enough and she stay's alive until you are no longer in the picture, elf. And how long that will be depends solely on you." He said, looking away from the elf arrogantly and opened his book again. Yes he would back off his heathen boss, enemy and friend until Rave and the other elves were no longer in the picture, only because he wanted to focus more on the blonde elf.
