I hang out in the FF Subforum often and ended up wandering around the DoC thread there.
People posted alot of screens and I collected those three. And found out alot about the game. Nothing hugely spoilerific - but I know the basic gist of it and what happens.
Which makes me want to buy it.

I played and beat it already, hence the screencaps.
Even without understanding japanese, you can get the gist of the story.
Although I'm starting to think they should just blow the ******** out of Midgard's remains instead of leaving it there for every villain to congregrate to.

FF7: Dirge of Cerberus.
Take Metal Gear Solid then add in a heavy dosage of FF-Subplot based around a Hidden Character - set after the events in Advent Children.
Now add in MGS-Gameplay with Vincent , Claw/Gun man.
And you have DoC. Though I heard its not as revolutionary and cool as the MGS gameplay - and that it plays as if a mixture of MGS and DMC.
Any truth there Vahn?

More like DMC than MGS, and thats mainly because of Vincent's Limit Break.
Which is the aforeshown Chaos.
Frankenstiener does not make an appearence. crying
And the hidden ending made me laugh my ******** a** off.

Bleach on Adult Swim That's right fans. It wasnt going to be long after we got the news that Bleach was licensed. Bleach is going to be in American Television.
A quote from Adult Swim's website:
Quote: Originally Posted By adultswim.com Bleach: Ichigo Kurosaki is an average 15-year-old who never asked for the ability to see ghosts. He was born with the gift. Bleach, licensed from VIZ Media, debuts this fall.
Of course, this is nothing new to us, but this was listed under their 'Anime Acquisitions', which is new to us. According to this article at Mediaweek.com, it will be showing pretty late, after 12:30AM. Enjoy all you AS fans!

Gah...no Frankensteiner?!
[random] This brownie is so hot that it is destroying my mouth. [/random]
That was the best limit break ever.
EDIT: Yes but now Bleach will more than likely be plagued by piss poor voice acting with some of the cooler episodes removed. So I'll never really get the full experience.

The MGS aspect comes in heavily with all the diff damn guns and ammo count Vincent has.
And you can sneak about to a degree, but its all too s**t when the baddies see you.
Then its like shoot, shoot, roll, avoid, shoot, toss magic from materia equipped, etc.
I liked the Clone wars-esque battle that takes place near the end of the game though.

Bullshit. Galian Beast was the best limit break ever. For being a demon hound type deal it was cute.
Yes - I called a Vinnie limit break cute. *Grows Boobage*
Anyway. I heard about Bleach moving over to Adult Swim. So not going to watch it...I'm watching 73 right now. I need no Americanized Bleach.

Old school chaos for me. J-rock one is nice - but not as badass.
MGS eventually came down to shoot, shoot, roll at some point. Unless you played like me. But I totally wreck shop when it comes to MGS gaming.
I'd be playing DoC more for story then anything so I might just rent it. Either way I figure I'll play it eventually.

some of the cut scenes are ridiculous though.
like.. i was sitting there thinking 'why the ******** is he just... standing there...? SHOOT HIM IN THE FACE!'
meaning, MASSIVE long winded talks about diabolical schemes, plots, etc.
