"Well...it kinda saved his life," Tails answered. He kept his lights in an order: his will-o-wisp leading five paces out, his energy ball two. "I don't think I can remember the whole story. It was another chi thing, I know that much."
He did not try to sense lava by conventional means. It carried a strong, familiar odor though noxious to most people. It was like powerful fireworks and rain on a droughted and calcified desert all in one. To fire types, this was the smell of milk and honey.

Trigramatic "Well...it kinda saved his life," Tails answered. He kept his lights in an order: his will-o-wisp leading five paces out, his energy ball two. To fire types, this was the smell of milk and honey. "The sword was an Artifact." I said to him. "Artifacts, simply put, are items with Pokemon literally infused in them. The sword was literally taking Celcius's chi at the time, which got the elemental to stop the attack. Though, at the time, I didn't know the artifact was doing that." I said.

"Ooh. Yeah," said Tails. "The artifacts have always seemed kinda sad to me. You know? I'd hate to be trapped in a weapon. Or anything. Or maybe..."
Tails slowed to think about it. "I guess it'd be nice to be a sweater for someone who really needs it in a bad winter."

SubonicXP Youko Kenshi Dan entered the HQ through the front entrance and began to look around. His Rhydon, Goliath, stood behind him and watched his trainer frantically searching for something or someone. "Hmm...maybe...his office?" he muttered to himself. Turning to the large pokemon, he asked him to stay in the lobby while he went to Sub's office. Goliath sat down behind the couch since sitting on it would crush it. Dan knocked on the door to Sub's office, wondering if he was in. "Come on in, it's open." Sub would shout from his seated position at the desk, he was typing away at a desktop stationed at his desk, sure he had his SNAG but sometimes a touchscreen can't replace an old fashioned keyboard, if you call it old fashioned. Dan entered with a smile on his face. "Hey Sub, you wouldn't happen to know where I can get a Protector, would you?" he says excitedly. He had just recently found out Rhydon could evolve through the use of one. If there was anyone who'd know where to find one, it was Sub.

Youko Kenshi Dan entered with a smile on his face. "Hey Sub, you wouldn't happen to know where I can get a Protector, would you?" he says excitedly. He had just recently found out Rhydon could evolve through the use of one. If there was anyone who'd know where to find one, it was Sub. "Hm? Hey there Dan, a Protector you say?" Sub said as he turned away from his computer and began to tap his chin in thought. "Oh! Yeah, a Protector, special things those are actually, people don't realize how valuable they are. You see, the item called a Protector is actually a special rock deposit formed over thousands of years, slowly, and the reason why it evolves Rhydon into Rhyperior is this special type of rock quietly builds up Earth Chi over the years, waiting for the day it is found, its unique shape is due to the chi within it." Sub explained. "Ahem...sorry about carrying on there, any who. Where to find a Protector, to tell you the truth I don't know exactly where you might find one. Your best chances are places with high levels of Earth Chi, this is somewhat easy to find out as there will be many Rock or Steel Pokemon in that area, or even many metal deposits, like say..." He stopped for a moment to think. "Iron Island might be a good place to look, your Rhydon could help find a Protector, they are sensitive to its unique chi signature, it almost calls out to them."

Tristen said. "I feel kind of bad really. At the time I didn't even know that sword was an Artifact." I said. "I didn't even have the first clue about what an Artifact was until years later when I met with Miles and he explained it to me. Then after we all took out Celcius in Hyda, and found half the sword where he perished at, it dawned on me right there. The reason why I didn't lose my life that first fight against him on my own." I said. "Would...you be able...to fix it?" Tristen asked. "...I doubt it..." I said, a bit regretful in tone.

Dan nodded as he listened to Sub's explanation. He understood how rare the item was and how difficult it would be to find. "Ok then...Iron Island it is. Thanks for the help Sub" Dan grinned as he waved and left. He prepared his belongings for his trip to Sinnoh, his first time going out on a personal whim. He returned to the lobby where Goliath had been waiting when his SNAG went off. "Bring water huh?" Dan muttered as he returned Goliath to his pokeball. He had to switch a few pokemon before stepping outside and sending out Talon. "To Cinnabar Island, please" he requested of the bird as he took off. Cinnabar wasn't too far away so it should be too long of a flight.

Josey ends up back at HQ. She brings both pokeballs over to the healing center and places them in two of the slots. Moments later she retrieves them and places them all her belt. "Well that was fun now wasn't it."

"Well that was fun now wasn't it." Katina appears next to Josey and recalls Waterboy so she can heal all three of her Pokemon. "That was awesome! I have a Charmander... and a shiny one at that! I wonder what it'll look like when it evolves?"

I hear shiny Charizards are very different in color from shiny Charmeleons and Charmanders." "Oh I didn't know that. Guess you'll just have to be surprised." Josey went to the kitchen to get a rootbeer and make herself a sandwich.

"What a strange device...yet it seemed so...familiar, I just can't shake the feeling that I've seen something like it before." Sub mumbled to himself as he walked into the main area of HQ, Nevermore perched on his head, her beak tucked underneath her wing as she took a little nap while he trainer was trying to figure out why that device from last night didn't settle right with him, for some reason Sub felt like he had seen it before, yet that would be impossible since he has never crossed paths with the Pyre Cult before, it was odd.

Lykas was in the kitchen while Josey and Katina spoke and walked out at the mention of surprised. "They're black." He'd provided before walking off to his room to rejoin Odd and get some rest. They'd only just arrived back from an extremely challenging mission and he'd gone to drop the mission report in Sub's office.
By morning, the two had awakened feeling only the slightest bit better. Lykas headed to the kitchen to get them some breakfast while the Ghost-trainer went to check on Bass in the infirmary. He'd been poisoned pretty badly while they were working.

Josey shrugs as she sat down with the sandwich taking a bite. "Guess we have our answer now", she stated to Katina.
