"What's his profession? and why is it you seemed to have such a close affinity for one, but not the other. he do something to royally piss you off?"
handling the shard a bit before slipping it in a hidden pocket up his sleeve. He'd have to find out how to work these things. maybe Des could shed some insight on that.
A shrug.
"True. but we'll get you to him if that's what you want. How about I agitate said source for you? I don't mind causing a bit of trouble once in a while, even among other dragons. Not to mention that silver was rather rude toward you, and so was that little bronze toward me. they could use a bit of feather ruffling of their own, so to speak."

Why did the young ones always try to do more than they were capable of? It was like a weakness of youth. Stepping over, he took the boy's arm to steady him and then gently pushed him down onto the cot. "We told you, dragonlord. You were given a potion to balance out your bodily systems. Other than that, your body is all out of balance because it triggered your systems to shut down before you died. Handing him another stopper of water. "You cannot just bounce right back up from something like that. Although I will tell you that the white dragon is perfectly fine and she is indeed okay."
"You don't get to decide that. That's mean! You're a meanniiiieeeee." Buzzing angrily in her spot in Kaznec's palm though she settled easily enough as the dragon addressed her. "Outside, silly. But you should see her 'cause you two are marrieds and that's not a very nice way to treat your bestest wife-friend."
He saw his chance and bolted up with a nod to the silver dragon. "I can deliver a message to Jaebelltiah for you! I can!"
"Do you often talk about people when they aren't around, Captain?" Kelligrin and his silent boots had indeed snuck up on the two, stayed back for a bit listening and then decided to reveal himself. He gave Savvy a cursory glance over and noted her rosy complexion had muted slightly overnight.

"Seon, don't confuse the boy with such talk of how he is in relation to the...other." Wanted to say something nasty in description of the white but chose to edit her words. "Dyranthirim is right though...what you're feeling is mostly your body trying to recover from it was doing, as well as adjusting to be more in tune with yourself than preoccupied with what the white is doing." Probably made him feel a little bit off too. Watching him patiently as he drank before her attention went to the dragonling she was holding. He seemed eager to see the white too, and she didn't like it. "And what would you tell her Dragonling? She can't see him." Seemed Fellnathir was the most adamant on that one.
"He's twenty three years older than me, and frankly he wasn't around much. Our families are close but he's more my brother's companion. Far as we're concerned we're strangers...why would I be close to a stranger." And of course the forced water thing was getting her back up right now. However she wasn't keen on answering the question on profession but she was saved by the elf himself as he made her jump, sneaking up with those damn assassin skills. That's it, she was putting a bell on him or something. "Speaking of elves..."
She couldn't help but chuckle a little, perhaps it was from anxiety. "You do love to cause trouble, and I'm sure you have tons of fun doing it. But don't go getting yourself in trouble for me. Only if you're looking for your own fun or retribution, whichever it may be." Shrugging lightly, she was looking for excuses for that other silver that seemed to like to rough handle her...she didn't know why she was looking for excuses but she was. "She was just looking out for Kaznec."

Glancing at Kelligrin.
"Yes I do. when someone isn't honest or avoids questions. You're no more a bard or a simple traveler than I am a city guard."
A smirk.
"Besides. I talk about Savvy or Des when there not around. what makes you think you'd be an exception to that?"
"No she wasn't. Don't try to make excuses. she had no problem letting me sit in that tent with him. she got only agressive with you. She's being a b***h, for lack of a better term, because your rider born. it's a simle case of prejudice."
but getting herself up.
"and speaking of trouble, I'll go stir some up abit. It's boring on a ship that's not sailing."
So she went up on deck and noticed the silvers.
"Alright you two shiny wretches. Your going to be nice to the white dragoness, or so help me one of you is going to be hurt. She has questions, and you give honest answers."

"You guard a ship that runs like a small city. I am neither simple nor just what you chose to think of me, Captain. What's to say I'm more than I claim to be?"
Lerciana blinked and yawned from where she was relaxing in the sun with a friend. Her friend gave the dragon a 'bite me' look and stalked off but Lerciana stayed. "Questions? Why does she have questions? We are the ones who have them."

"You talk about me behind my back, hm? You're brave...and probably stupid too." Shrugging lightly before giving a sigh...oh lord were the men going to go peacocking now? Great just what she wanted to be around. Reaching to her shoulder she scratched at Chylithair's feathers before clapping her hands together to brush the bone dust off and from her hands.

"It's simple business. I need to know who on my ship does what. if I have an assassin on board, I need to know. if I have a bard, I need to know. they bring skills and talents specific to their training that can be of benefit to me in different situations. No more or less."
And a smirk at Savvy.
"I talk about everyone when I feel a need to. trust me I'm well aware of you having extra ears and whatnot on my ship. you're too well informed not to."
"Well, she has a few. you see, she wasn't raised by a dragon clan, or riders. she was raised in the city. In fact, until this little trip we're all on, she was probably under the impression she was just a white dragon. not a bleached metallic. Wasn't until we came across baby blue here that she put peices together."
leaning on the railing.
"What she'd like to know, for her safety and others, is to control her ability to use her natural affinity in neutral form. how to harness her secondary traits of electricity. things like that you learned growing up. And I bet she'd more then readily answer youjr questions if you'd answer hers."

"Simple business?" He pulled out a lute and began to play a quick and lively melody which changed to a deeper and more seductive one with the snap of a finger, finally finishing back on the quick one. "A bard I must be if I play instrument, see?"
"It's not that simple." Shaking her head. "Many abilities of a dragon, as you well know, are grasped without being taught. That's because some of us hatch alone and must survive. Other things are taught by our parents but in special cases, a well attuned dragon is brought in to help. I think that's what she needs. And I really don't think I should be talking to her..." Glancing around. "Fellnathir won't be pleased."

Yup, the men were going to go back and forth. Couldn't they like go off and do that or was she going to have to leave? "Well well, you're not as stupid as you seem. Then again you have been saying things I would close my mouth about if I were you." Getting herself up and brushing sand off, Chylithair shuffling from her forearm to her shoulder. "Call him a bard, call him and assassin, call him a baker if you want. Intharas are elves of many traits. Who knows what they are." Thusly wandering away from the two, more pointedly over to the little basket of food that had been left for them to eat at as they wished, petting at Chylithair and quite pleased with her pawning off of stolen things to Deacon...that was going to be so fun when it went down.

"I couldn't have said it any better myself. Stop asking questions, Captain. You won't ever get the answers you want." Giving him a cocky little salute and then following Savryn, employing his workable techniques and moving up behind her. Resting his hands on the cape on her shoulders, he easily pulled it off, his mouth perilously close to her ear. "Too much fabric, Vryn."

Reaching back she more or less pawed at him. "Says you Lord Snaps 'n Layers." Her ears had already been twitching from that music and they did again at his voice, blue tip brushing against his high cheek bone. "You're not going to let me have that back, are you?" Chylithair making an agitated noise at that one. He was always trying to pull something off or her wasn't he? Or trying to take care of her...if there was one thing to say he was at least determined...still hated how he could sneak up on her though. Hm...what was the best way to attach a bell to him.

Hm, he did have too much clothing on him as well, didn't he? Well, it was only fair that he not be a hypocrite about that sort of thing. "Snaps n' layers? Very well, m'lady, I shall oblige." Reaching up, he unbuttoned his own overtunic and slipped it off then dropped it on the sand beside him and grinned. "Now I'm officially showing more skin than you. Go on. Feel."

"Is that one of the pick up lines your brother taught you? It's horrible." Though yes she did feel just to make sure he wasn't playing with her because he could...she hated it when people did that. Brushing fingertips over his chest briefly she rested her hands on her hips. "Inthara honesty...always nice to see that intact." Letting one hand up to brush at her hair in her face as Chy had decided to preoccupy himself with nipping at beads for fun.

"What would be truly horrible is the thought of using my brother's words, thoughts, or actions when it comes to women." He quite literally shuddered at the mere thought of being like his playboy older brother. The oldest of the Inthara's had quite a reputation back home and he'd done everything in his power to distance himself from it. Most of the family had, in fact. Reaching out, he gently knocked her hands off of her hips. "Do you just love coming across as a b***h to everyone, Vryn?"

"Hell with that old silver battleaxe. if you want answers, you'll have to ask the questions and answer what you can in return. that's just the way it is. and I'm sure she'd more then happily answer if you can answer any of hers. she craves information about what her true heritage is as a dragon."
glancing around.
"Not to mention, her markign with Kanzec is only temporary becuase the young dragonlord has shut himself off to his emotions. I'm sure when he's all better, and if Bell takes some advice, they'll be more permenant. So why not help her out a bit."
Well that went...better then expected. so he got himself up and moved toward the general congregation of pirates.
"Anything new come up while I was brokering a temporary peace with the death dealing elves?"
