omg i 've been playing the flute since i was in 3rd grade and im almost in 8th now!! 5 and a half yrs!! i love the flute. im temporarly on my own in advance band cause no one else plays flute-.-! im glad of that cause then im my own leader atleast till next yr in 8th all the beg. band will come and they have like i think 30 flutes but whocares i know i will be 1st chair mrgreen cause i've been playing wayyy longer like 25 of them only started this yr 0.o!! butt still the other 5 been playing for two yrs im almost 6 yrs. i play jazz orchrestra and marching band at my middle school yaay me. besides flute i could play trumpet piano (LOVEEEEEE((but not more then my flute *hugs flute*))lol) clarinet trumbone alto sax and the snare drum!! biggrin redface im very musical on insterments lol. damn i wrote alot ttyl biggrin

I'm new to this whole thing! lol I play flute! we have what we call chairs I am 5th chair! Which is good all they flutes at my school arent snooty and tht makes me happy! ninja our band is actually really good! we did have a guy flute player but his G-ma made him quit sad he was really good!

I'm a flute biggrin yeah, half the flutes in our band are snooty *beep*s, but the other half is awesome people. alas, we have only one male flute. sweatdrop

i am a flute player too!!!!! im new to this guild, but am enjoying this section a lot!!!!! i have been in band for 4 years now. ive played the flute for all of those year!!!!! whee i also played the flute for marching band, and it was a lot of fun!!!1 biggrin GO FLUTES!!!!!!!! blaugh we only have one guy playing the flute, and hes an *beep*. but the rest r awesome!!!!! I heart FLUTES!!!!!

I'm a new perosn to this guild to. And the Flute so Rocks. All our flute players are hilarous and we had one guy flute but he was kinda nasty. mad
We just finished our solo contest for our Iowa District thingy. heart

aww, I remember being in the flute section. Now I am the bass trombonist. I still love the instrument, but its's just too much drama to deal with at my school. I still play it, just not in school. I've been playing flute for six years and picc for three.

yea im a flutist...sincs im only in middle school and they only offer band in 5th grade where i go....ive only been in it a bout two years nao....but itz fun...of course we have the wars...wereall so mental.....anyway GO FLUTES!!!!!!!!8D

i play flute, we sadly won't have guy flutes for the rest of this year+ next year till that 7th grader gets here. any advice on cleaning a flute? i don't have a cleaning kit and i'm getting worried about my flute cry

I'm a newb at the flute, I'm sorry to say. But I still love playing it! heart I've passed up many of the people who have been paying it longer than me, and that makes me happy. ^.^ I will be joining marching band come this summer(we don't have it at our middle school) and I'm kind of excited, but also a little nervous.
