I'm not entirely sure about the egyptian nature. I was thinking arabic, but then my ideas for the character also allow for a very large range of cultural experiances.

Nihilistic_Impact That or some style that can easily incorborate a cleaver like weapon. I'unno, eskrima? That's out of the Phillipines, but they teach it in a lot of places.
If you mean like a butcher's cleaver, it'd probably just be a matter of controlling an opponent's hands or whatever with your open hand, then attacking the wrists and probably the throat with like, diagonal downwards chops.
Vale Tudo is just fighting, if you were gonna associate other styles it'd probably be mixed martial arts (muay thai, some basic karate sort of stuff) and Brazilian jujitsu. Capoeira is no good with a weapon, since it's basically breakdance fighting, so you're on your hands a lot attacking with the feet. It'd be koul to use if you could pull it off in an RP, since it's hard to describe and lots of people would keep trying to grab your feet.

I'd say Krav Maga (it is middle eastern)... but unless your character is some kind of hardcore, brutal, killing machine...

Crawleymang~ I'd say Krav Maga (it is middle eastern)... but unless your character is some kind of hardcore, brutal, killing machine... Probably not... That one too. Egyptians were brute too dude...I think...
