((Okay, I had to go to Lubbock this past weekend, and in case anyone doesn't know, driving to Lubbock from...anywhere is a b***h of a drive. But I'm back.
So, does anyone know what I'm supposed to be doing or where my character is?))

((Lol. Very cool Ali. And Skiiy, me, Mercury, Hawk, Alina and Sarah (Kat) are heading into town to rebuild. As far as I know, you're with us. We just got to a small stone-work area, and that's as far as we've gotten. Sorry to hear about the crap drive!))
Dismounting, Mairyela took in the small area. The stone buildings had been made of granite, with wooden supports. The wood had given way during the attack, which, in turn, had taken down the walls of the buildings. All in all, the granite was fine, if a bit cracked; it was only the wood that needed replacing here.
"Well," she said, "it looks like an easy place to start." Turning to the others, she asked, "Shall we?"

Mercury nodded, and dismounted. "Alina, do you remember how to link? And Sarah, have you ever linked before?" If the girl hadn't, then she could just watch once or twice before attempting it. Perhaps Alina could offer some assistance there; having been Aes Sedai, Mairyela and herself were most likely taking many things which were difficult or new to the trainees for granted.

"yes Mercury Sedai, I remember how to link." Alina turned to Sarah and said "if you havent done it before its really not that hard. its a little scary at first but you get used to it." Alina moved closer to Mercury, and placed her self on the brink of embracing the Source, almost grasping it but not quite. "im ready Aes Sedai." she wispered, for it was hard to speak and not lose her toe hold on this small bridge between embracing, and not.

Climbing down off the horse, Sarah replied, "I know how to link, though I've never actually done it before. I should be able to do it."

"Alright." Mercury knew Mairyela would join in when she was ready, and she could tell it was hard for Alina to maintain such a delicate control of so much power for too long, so the Keeper slowly embraced the Source the same way Alina had, and then, gently released a small, thin, tendril of Spirit to connect herself to the Accepted. Once the tendril had created the connection, Mercury reached out to help Alina keep the power under control.
While she waited for Mairyela and Sarah, Mercury glanced upwards, seemingly looking at the sky. She squinted, and then opened her eyes normally again. She could see enough of yesterday's rain weaves, to work over them and fix the damage. Her Talent of Reading picked out minute details that others would have missed. The weaves tilted slightly towards the east, so she would have to also tilt her own.

((Ack. Sorry for being gone for so long!))
Mairyela watched as Alina and Mercury linked together. Deciding it best to get in on the action, she walked up, and took Alia's other hand. Embracing the true source, she connected herself to the other two women. The increase in power was exihlerating, but she kept herself under control. It had been a long time since she had had to link with another Sister, she had almost forgotten what it felt like.

Sarah followed suit and held her self at the point just before embracing Saidar, waiting to be brought into the link.

Skiiy quickly loses interest as the sisters begin linking, and goes over to direct the men who are working on rebuilding the cities. He begins giving orders to them about what to work on, putting them on more intricate tasks, since the sisters would probably be doing more of the heavy jobs with their increased power. He then steps back and waits for the sisters to begin so that he and his crew can follow them up with the finishing touches.
