"This won't hurt in the end, will it?" Ayumu forced his question out, though it was clear that it was shakey. The fact that Konoe held him down and how quickly they were moving into the seal was something that caused him to worry a little.

Konoe was at least able to pick up that Ayumu was not well, and of course he didn't want Ayumu to make things tougher than they already were, "It won't hurt..just stay calm for us."

However, Konoe couldn't help but feel that something else was wrong, and his eyes gave a distant look, as if he were falling to the back of his mind, there must be trouble..is it here, or the wind clan? ..our priorities are with the wind clan of course..there's always trouble somewhere...

Konoe's lips twitched, which made it look like he was about to say something about what he was thinking. If anything, he knew that Reia or Echo would be able to figure out if it was true that there was something amiss, given their abilities, "Ah..."

He stopped, No need to worry them any more at this point. Besides, I don't even know if it's true... Konoe pushed his glasses up and took some steps back to give the others some space. He hoped that Reia or Echo weren't listening on his thoughts during the time, which might make them lose their focus on the spell if they did hear.

Konoe looked about, making an attempt to see if the trouble was in the area they were in. Then he shook his head, I felt that something was wrong...but it was just a feeling. It could be something I'm feeling simply because of the danger we're currently in if we aren't careful with Ayumu and Echo.

He realized too late that what he said could have made things worse for Reia and stress her even further. He didn't know if Echo was even listening in on their conversation, Perhaps we should hold off this discussion until after the spell is finished.

Ayumu looked at the two, baffled at the interaction between Reia and Echo. It appeared to him that they were holding a conversation between themselves. He couldn't help but feel that something was going on. And even when Konoe was looking around, he felt that Konoe was in a rush to get somewhere, Did something happen?

Konoe noticed that Reia was not working with creating the seal anymore. A part of him felt that they should stay with Echo and Ayumu to make sure that things run smoothly, but the other part of him wanted to find a justification for the feeling he had earlier and leave the others there, It's alright, no need to rush..

No, no, it's nothing special, Konoe attempted to look calm, though inside he felt the need to move quickly. The more he thought about it, the more his instincts told him that every second they were spending in that area meant that things were getting worse from wherever the ill vibes were coming from. Or maybe he was just imagining it. Either way, he still felt the need to get out of there. His wings lifted just slightly, enough to make it look like he was ready to use them.

Ayumu looked down at Echo and knelt down to see if she was alright. He gently moved her hair away from her face. Even though he knew that part of their motivation was to prevent something evil from emerging, he also felt that they did it to save his life. Once again he felt moved by such actions from people who barely knew him, and smiled, "Thankyou."

Though Ayumu did not notice that he was glowing too..he was more concerned about getting Echo to a more suitable place for her to rest. He moved his arms under her and lifted her up as gently as he could.

"Hmm.." Konoe was intrigued to see that Ayumu was glowing too. Why had the results come out differently? Then, wanting to make sure that Ayumu understood what was to be done, he asked, "Ayumu, do you think you will be able to watch Echo while me and Reia leave?"

"I can, but where are you planning on going?" Ayumu cocked his head.

"Possibly the wind clan," Konoe felt the wind clan would be his priority over earth. And if something was wrong within the earth clan territory, he felt that Ayumu would be able to handle it using his own strength.

"Reia, let's go." With that, Konoe opened his wings up and thrust them downwards to propel him into the sky. He expected Reia to follow him.

"I do not have any mending spells..though I would assume that the best we can do for him is to find a blacksmith who would be able to piece him together, and then he may return to normal.." Konoe wasn't so sure. He did read up on something about people like Typhon and his situation, but the documents did not show what would happen in detail. So the plan may or may not fail. He hoped that Typhon would be alright in the end. He even hoped that Reia and the two they left behind would eventually stop glowing so that they could live normal lives. Though, despite how much his conscience would tell him to take care of his friends first, his concern rested more on the wind clan.

Ayumu nodded in reply to Reia, even though it surprised him that he could hear her from within his head. He looked at the entrance of the infirmary and then stepped inside. He felt that it was better to find a bed for her here than to wander around for a long time looking for some sort of inn to settle down in. Almost everyone in the room stared at the two, and Ayumu knew that he was not welcomed here. He could feel angered eyes staring at him, "Please do not attack me..I merely wish to find a bed for her. She needs rest."

He didn't get an answer and the healers went back to what they were doing, but they continued to keep checking to see if he would do anything destructive. Ayumu placed Echo into an empty bed and stood at the edge. Finally he sat down on the bed. He felt some relief in sitting down because he was tired as well. It was then that he noticed that he was glowing as well, Hmm...maybe there is someone here that can fix this..

Then he glanced at Echo, you and I were born not too long ago.

He smiled for the fact that he no longer felt like he was alone. Instead of being looked down upon as a lesser, like the others had treated him, he looked forward to being treated as an equal, and as a friend.
