*Even if Hikaru never came out and told her it was Synge that he was in love with, it wasn't difficult to put the pieces together. Clever chuckled picturing a little Hikaru chasing after a little Synge, and Akito. She noticed Akito blush again and wondered if it was because of her.*
"So, all of you grew up together, must 'ave been one 'ell of an experience 'aving to deal with a little 'ikaru, Akito."

Not really, he never chased Synge like the way he went after me. She probably didn't even know he was after her until very recently, right Hikaru?
*He laughed softly, thinking of how it was always funny the way Hikaru chased everyone so openly except the one person he cared most about. He nodded at Clever's comment, feeling a little less nervous now.*
Yeah, I guess...He is a handful, be careful.

*He smiled and then listened to Akito explain things. He stopped smiling, realizing that Clever must have known about Synge, and he didn't like the way Akito explained it. However, he stayed silent.*

*Clever was happy that Akito was getting into the conversation and seemed more enthusiastic. It was strange to hear that Hikaru was going after Akito more than Synge. She patted Hikaru's shoulder.*

*Akito nodded at Clever. He felt that is was best to be prepared when dealing with Hikaru, but it seemed that she knew what she was messing with. He looked at Hikaru, wondering if he was really over Synge. He also wondered if he had ever been anything special to him the way Synge was. He stayed silent.*

*Clever smiled to Akito, she noticed he seemed a bit on edge. So she tried to seem more approachable, but all that really happened was she smiled a little more, and eased her posture.*
"I'm sure 'ikaru thinks, just more about what 'e wants. It's good to think about personal needs sometimes."
*She attempted to defend Hikaru cause she did really believe that he needed to take time to figure out what he wanted, she hoped that her words didn't seem mean though.*
"Oh I'm not that smart."
*Clever blushed at their comments, but it was true she wasn't smart enough to keep from liking Hikaru, even if she knew it would mean heartache.*

Akito blushed slightly when Clever smiled at him, this only increased his nervousness. He cursed himself silently. He was barely listening to what Clever was saying now. He simply nodded and fiddled with his hands that were resting on the bar. He looked around the tavern.*

How can you say that? You say something wise about me, and then claim not to be smart? Silly girl.
*He looked at Akito and felt a little bad for him. He knew how shy he was around people, but couldn't really help him at the moment.*
