However, the moment the boxes connected with 'Santa''s head, Yokou felt a pang of regret. Well, not really for hitting him since he definitely earned that...but...for hurting him... A little voice in her head prodded, pointing out: Is there a difference...? Yokou ignored it and went to check if Marcus was ok. Oh dear...one of the kids were kicking him now.

Oh. He just got up. Guess he was ok after all. Marcus pointed up...but her mind didn't connect with what he said. The next moment, her eyes widened as Marcus kissed her...this time again on the lips... The hospital... But unlike the time at the hospital, she didn't faint. Nor like before on Pegasus, she didn't push him away this time. Her face flushed, pale blush on porcelain features, and she looked down demurely..as if the floor was an interesting spectacle to look at...

But she couldn't hide the surprise that found its way to her face, as Marcus presented her a gift box - red wrapping paper...with gold crane patterns. The flush darkened a notch. Ah...Marcus speaks such embarrassing things... She tried to say something but...nope, no words were coming out. So Yokou watched as Marcus headed back to the children...whom were obviously delighted for 'present-giving time'.

So now back with Roy, seated on the lobby sofa, Yokou opened the box. A small surprised 'oh' escaped her lips. Contrasting greatly with the brilliant colours of the wrapping paper, a lovely white and silver gown spilled its gorgeous folds into her lap. At the bottom of the box, was a smaller box...an ornamental headdress...a silvery laurel wreath set with pearls and ornamented with some sort of darker purple flowers...

Indecision settled over her. Yokou wasn't sure if she should really wear such a lovely dress... Wearing something so...beautiful? But Marcus went through all the trouble... So she went to the women's restroom to change.

Shikamori carefully considered the child's request. "Hn...give me a reason." A pause, and the hunter-nin fixed cool onix eyes on Sakeme. "Give me a reason why I should teach you. Elruda-chiisai-hime is a still child of Konoha despite her current circumstances, she is entitled to inheriting our village's secrets. What she chooses to do with it then, is at her discretion. However...for an outsider..." The Nara's voice trailed off.

"I had agreed to tutor one particular scion of Iwa, because he had taken care of living arrangements for...then, Akane-sama's troope." The Nara held up his right index finger, warningly. "That is the way of the shinobi world. A trade for power is only bargained with something of equal return. Ah yes, Sakeme-chan...rarely you would find few as unconditionally generous...to perhaps even the point of foolishness...as Yuuko-hime or Zephyr-sensei."

"Unless there's a balancing factor, a benefit in return for our own people, the rest shall not make such a gamble. So. What can you offer Konoha?"

Sakeme thought about this for a while. "I'm not sure... I don't know much of Konoha or what the people of the leaf village would want. On top of that, I'm only a genin... so I'm not gonna prance about as if I know so much that people would envy me or anything. I do know, however, that Elruda would be returning to the rain village with me in due time... Our current sensei, my former teammate, Wrath isn't... the nicest of people. I'm stating that as politely as I can... I never agreed with his way of training Elruda-chan... so I acted as her shield. Alll I want is to keep her out of harms way, especially when it comes to him... I don't really know why, I just do. Thing is, I can't do very much if I remain a genin and I'm trying to advance as much as possible..." She gave him a small shrug to end her side of this conversation... She wasn't too sure wheteher he'd believe her or not. Despite the fact that all she said was the truth...
PostPosted: Wed Dec 31, 2008 6:25 pm

Shikamori contemplated the child's answer. "How harsh?" He asked quietly. Memories of his own Genin days with Yokou and Museifu filled his mind... Or to be more exact, the days before the rapidly arriving Chuunin Exams of their first year. Zephyr was holding extra training sessions for the two weaker members of the squad.

Bam!

Shikamori watched, horrified, as Yokou crashed into a tree with a sickening thud. Was she unconscious...? A distance not so far off, Zephyr stood, a cold unreadable expression on his face, fist still in the air. A cough. The Hyuuga princess fought the pain, biting down on her lip, and struggled to her feet. But the blow to her stomach was too much, and she began coughing up blood.

He couldn't watch anymore. "Why did you use Gouwan on her!" Shikamori had demanded of his sensei. But the Senju Sannin only cast a scornful look at the Nara, before directing his displeasure to the Hyuuga princess. "Yokou..." Zephyr had said, ignoring him. "We end here today."

"I can still fight!" She had gotten up again, shakily. Zephyr looked away. "Don't be so arrogant. On the battlefield, that can get you killed." A heavy pause. "And you wish to be a medic-nin? Listen..." His voice trailed off. "You and Shikamori are far from Museifu's level. This extra training is for your own benefit. And...if you honestly wish to be a medic-nin..."

"If you get killed, than who will be there to save your teammates?" Shikamori could only watch, as hurt passed over the Hyuuga princess's face... The words pierced much more and wounded much more than Zephyr's attack would ever do. That b*****d... Shikamori had thought. He didn't understand how much Yokou, how much she earnestly wanted to...

Zephyr spoke again. "Starting from today, I will be attacking you two in earnest. Work together, do all you can to stop me."

And Yokou would get injured many more times until she learned to perfect her Kaiten and her timing. Shikamori had been as of little past helpless to protect her... It was being injured, being healed (by Zephyr)...a continuous cycle. The worst case, she was actually landed in the hospital for internal injuries. Zephyr had proclaimed more than once that because of her field mastery limitations, Yokou was the weakest on the squad.

"Can't be worse than that..." Shikamori muttered, shaking his head. However, he couldn't really blame Zephyr...and over time came to forgive him... The young Sannin had been fresh out of the hunter-nin ranks, and had no clue what to do with a Genin squad. So, he did what he knew best...turn them into perfect little soldiers with complementary skills... However, whenever Yokou was landed at the hospital...

Shikamori ran into Zephyr several times. Each time, the Senju had lied that he had some business to do in the hospital, as he was a medic-nin too. However...each time, at Yokou's bedside...there would be flowers and her favourite foods... So. He did feel sorry for injuring her to some degree... And...it was perhaps even in the end necessary. Zephyr turned a fragile doll into a strong-willed woman...

"Don't worry about Elda-chiisai-hime so much." Said Shikamori, with a smile. "When she truly begins awakening her limit, he will not be able to touch a hair on her head. Until then..." A pause. "...let me ask you, will you really be willing to attack chiisai-hime's sensei, for her sake?"

giglamesh

Beloved Lunatic

PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 10:07 am

((im not so sure shin would already know about elemental recomposotion or even idea of it yet, gig just learned about it as he saw somebody useing it and during research he found the physical....however shin will most likely see gig trying to train in wind and fire elemental))

Giglamesh saw the confusion in shin's heart, it was obvious. He wanted to forget the past but it kept clawing away at the cold heart of his, he also saw how he eyes twinkled when they hugged him as well as while holding mai. He wanted to forget, much like giglamesh, but forgetting the past is not something done over night. The irony giglamesh seemed to be chipping ice off shin heart, but perhaps this tai would keep his heart refrigerated, that would be something giglamesh couldn't allow, he saw himself and past in shin....he couldn't let shin make the same mistakes he made because he knew what pain it would bring shin.

"SQUEEEEE oh my god its so cute youko nyao!" Harumi would hold her hands together in front or her chest jumping up and down after seeing the dress marcus had gotten for her. Still wearing the sexy elf suit and under the skirt shishimaru and hyoumaru forced her to wear underwear....it was a tiny little thong....but if they hadent made her wear something everthing would of been shown to everbody as she was jumping from glee of seeing the dress. All the little boys would simply just stareing as she jumped, for reasons they wouldnt understand untill they were older. "Put it on put it on nyao!"Hyoumaru would keep playing a hard rock version of christmas songs and the kids seemed to love it, like it was a little mini concert just for them. He would turn his head looking to harumi, and he never stoped playing, and wouldnt even miss a note even when he wassent playing attention. "Leave her alone harumi.....its for her to decide to wear it or not not you dummy." Still wearing his elf outfit he just kept playing as if he wassent concentrating on something else, as if playing was literally a subconscious thing to him, then ...WHAM box upside his head, but still didnt stop playing.Harumi had throw a preety large and heavy box as if it was paper, with absolute ease, at the head of hyoumaru. "Hey you called me stupid nyao!...... The person that calls somebody stupid, is really stupid nyao!" The irony of that sentence was she just called him stupid.then there was shishimaru...which only stood there arm crossed under her breasts standing at the side of the kage not saying a word not moving, basically like a busty flesh statue wearing a sexy elf suit, that was nearly busting at the seems from her large breasts that were made even perkier from her crossing her arm under neath them.

((Shin's whole bloodlimit is focused on elemental recomposition... O.o So he can learn Suiton techniques but have to 'decompose' Hyouton chakra.))

Shin was spacing out again when a gentle tug on his right sidebang brought him back to reality. Maiyuri in his arms was pointing upwards, at the eerie green light of the Borealis. "Oh. That's the Borealis..." But Maiyuri frowned, shaking her head, and tugged harder. How odd...the child seemed to have realized there was no way else, at least touch and feeling-wise, to get Shin's attention.

"Huh? That's not it...?" Wait a moment...the Borealis should show up annually...Mai would've seen it every year and even though young, would at least remember the previous year's aurora over Iwa...celebrating its annual Winter Festival...

"Oh!" He knew now. I see... And he smiled down at the child. "Arigatou, chiisai-hime...for sharing it with me..."

As Hitomi approached, Nikolai's skin became alive. At first it seemed as if Nikolai's muscles had been misshapen throughout his life, and it was merely his muscles tensing as the thick coils rose to press against his skin. A mixture of pain and determination was etched on his otherwise kind and gentle features. What little color there was in Nikolai's skin disappeared as he fed that Beast within him to keep it tame. Yes, he had been given a strong seed, but that was more often his curse than his gift. They were very smart. Such a gentle man would never willingly kill anyone, and so he was not able to run away or to betray them, else he lose control of his Takani and go on a killing rampage. Hot-headed warriors had no place in his business. What might have looked like goosebumps on his skin were the thorns of the Plant pushing against his skin. As he sated its hunger, the Plant relieved the pressure like an animal resting after a meal. Nikolai was shaking for a full quarter of a second before he reigned his body in. He took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. His skin returned to its normal deathly pallor, and his smile returned to his features.

Hitomi stepped close to Keiko, waiting for her acknowledgment, to let her know that she was at least okay for now. One of the first things many would notice about Hitomi's companion was that she wore white tabi socks and thin black sandals, despite the weather. The second would be that she made no tracks as she walked. She waited for an appropriate lull in the conversation, and spoke to Keiko: "Keiko-sama. I am returning to Kaijinbo-sensei, to resume my training. Don't worry, I'll be fine." Hitomi would wait for a moment, so as not to be rude and leave too early. Not that that's usually a problem on my conscience.

Taishiroku slowly walked down that dark path toward his house. His right foot was into the darkness of the front porch. Only faint glows within the windows bring any illuminate life to the house. His cold right hand gripped the curvature of the door knob. He pushed the door opened as he turned it open.

He broke through the threshold of the house as his eyes instantly noticed a suitcase opened and filled with various articles of clothing. A dark shadow slowly waddled down the corridor leading to the living room.

An old figure slowly came forth and was revealed to be the owner of the sillouette. Light blue hair rolled down his back and callopsed upon his waist. The man stood no higher than 5'6" and clutched a cane tightly within his left hand. Each digit containing small dark spots that disperse more evenly upon the aging arm. The mans eyes were just as black as his own but yet much more open and warm. The man walked across to Taishiroku and slapped at his shin with the brown cane.

"Hey! I will be leaving to go back for our clan... I have done my favor to you and have helped you to do what you wish to achieve in your life.."

The words came at a shock to Taishiroku. His eyes widened at an incredible rate only to be bested by his frown. His first frown. He stood there not able to move feeling like he should say something to his grandfather but his tongue was becoming heavy and dry within his mouth.

"the house is ours... you do not have to pay rent. You may move into the city if you wish but our clan never really enjoys clustering... So i think it is best if you stay out here.."

He sighed and moved his decrepit form toward the suitcase. His small hand gripped the handle and raised it. It wasn't raised far and seem to hang by his side. He slowly moved out of the doorway and walked down the steps being followed by his grandsons' eyes and ears his words becoming reality that slapped at his heart.

"I love you alot and i will be always in kiri to help you if you need it.. Do not worry about me and do not worry about the future. Follow the teachings of our clan and just allow life to run its course like the calm streams of the oceans water... Just remember, the tiniest ripple in the atlantic can reach the pacific if only it follows the correct currents.."

Soon the old man left his sight and left him hurt. Taishiroku felt his head become heavy and his legs become weak. He fell upon his knees and his head was left to hit the floor. The force of the hit hurt him but it could not be compared to anything within his heart.

Tears soon greeted his face and created small currents of rivers along his face. He stayed quiet. His voice was weak and his throat was tight. His arms stayed at his side. The tears becoming more heavy as time passed on.

So there he layed.. for the course of the night with only the last words of his grandfather echoing in his mind. the tiniest ripple in the atlantic can reach the pacific if only it follows the correct currents.." Slowly the frown dissapeared from his face being replaced by a smile. The smile lasting onto his face as his sadness turned into laughter and his laughter turned into an obsession...

The night sky and his house were filled with the crazed laughter that was only halted for small seconds. This laughter was the holes in his heart becoming filled with a crazed devotion and a mindset becoming altered... The word Cannibalism Echjoing within his mind along with the pictures and faces of his family and clan.

Shrill laughter filled the air. The elf child skipped along the path of the dark street, sometimes running, sometimes stopping to laugh, ignoring her current guardian's worried pleas. "Chiisai-hime!" The Senju king called after the child, hopelessly. It was dark and it wasn't like Iwa had streetlights on every corner... The Hyuuga princess wasn't slowing her steps either, staying in sight only to taunt the Kage to hurry up. But he kept up, knowing Yokou would not hesitate to stab him with Kusanagi if he lost Elruda...

Zephyr sighed. If there was someone who could really make him feel old...that'll be Yokou's daughter. Where on earth had the child found all this energy, anyways? For goodness sake, they had gone through just about every stand in the festival, sampling every type of food as the child had wished... Zephyr had been dragged around to the games...before the child suddenly declared they should play a game of tag, and that the Hokage was 'it'.

Roy glanced to the woman, he sighed deeply. as she walked off. So conflicted, it was aggravating. In a way, she reminded him far to much of… no, he wouldn’t think of her. Thinking of her never brought about any good feelings. No, he had to keep his mind focused on something else, it was the only way to keep from becoming sad and solumn like this woman was. He groaned a little and looked to the side. He felt so old already for his young age. Without much of a word, he left the orphanage.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

((Sorry for not responding earlier, didn’t see Yokou’s post at the top))

Marcus was smiling as he looked about the place, it was a hubble of activity as the children had been given their presents and were off in their own little worlds. Marcus was pleased with this development. He glanced over to the ‘reindeer’ as they played with the children. Well, correction, only the youngest and Kirin played with the children. Pegasus was being pulled and poked on and Sliphnir… well Sliphnir was just Sliphnir. All 8 footed, demonic eyed dragon horse of him. He sat in the back of the room and sighed deeply as he looked about. The room was starting to calm down and grow a bit quieter as the children grew to love their new toys. He smiled and looked over to the couch where Yokou was sitting… but now she was gone… where’d she…had she…would she…yes… she would.

A deeply crossed look covered his face as he looked to the couch but soon he just took in a breath and moved to the couch himself. Hoping for a Christmas miracle was for kids… maybe he never learned that.

Marcus' santa hat would suddenly be pulled down so low, that it completely blocked his vision. Laughter, from behind him.

"Heh..." Said Yokou. "Who would've known you were so good with children?" She had returned to the room unnoticed, partly thanks to natural grace, partly from the clamor of the children...slipping by without a sound. Well, Pegasus did see her, but thankfully said nothing. Probably because about the next moment, there were a crowd of children wanting a ride.

And really, she did have a point...the orphans were delighted with their presents and with their summoning playmates. Yokou didn't address Marcus by name though, because that would ruin it for the more...keen children. Somehow, she just knew Fubuki Shinratsu wasn't about the only child who would do research on his own time... And besides, it was nice not to ruin 'the Santa Claus belief' the little children held so dear.

As Marcus pulled up his Santa hat, Yokou had crossed to the other side (of the couch). And smiling, she bowed. Not the usual half-bow of respect but an actual sweeping curtsy, long midnight blue hair spilling over her shoulders. She had taken down her usual high ponytail, her long hair secured by the ornamental wreath. And the dress itself, while its loveliness would've been diminished on a paler beauty, instead complemented perfectly with Yokou's own.
PostPosted: Thu Jan 01, 2009 9:28 pm

The voice of a child breaks through the darkness of the night. The laughter soon is halted as the source halts and listens.

"Chiisai-hime!"

Slowly, Taishiroku raised his left leg planting his foot flat upon the ground, his foot landing right beside his elbow. He moved opposite leg the same way and arched his neck upward revealing his face to the Borealis' ominous light in the sky. The drapes of dark grey hair flowed from infront of his face forcing the loose water from the hair reserves.

He applied pressure to his feet causing his body to rise, his arms simply dangling in the air as he rose. He stepped slowly out into the night only seeing the traces of his grandfathers steps.

Soon he heard more footsteps coming from the darkenss of the alley and followed the sound. Each step was dragged, his heart to heavy for him to even raise his foot. The tears that was once upon his face have longed dried and dissapeared but the stain still remained.

His eyes now red with thoughts of sorrow and hatred toward his grandfather and clan. He suddently stopped as he noticed the shape of the small child teasing what seemed to be an older man.

"Cannibalism?..."

[[and I’m sure her boobies help keep the dress up quite well… like the chick in Taishiro’s signature XD]]

He pulled the hat up and his eyes glanced to the beauty before him. It was strange, even though he didn’t believe in god nor in any sort of single individual power, at that moment… at that one micron of a moment, he swore he saw a goddess before his very eyes. His face was covered in a readable version of disbelief (looks like this http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/7816/naota2lk4.jpg )

He soon shook his head and looked back up with his normal vacant glance. A smile crossed his lips as he waved again to her, “Yo. Didn’t think Goddesses made trips to visit us mortals. Nice of you to come pay a visit. Was it my animal magnetism that drew you in? Or just the smiles of those kids?” He glanced over to the kids as they played and enjoyed the toy’s. He smiled deeply and sat comfortably there.

He then blurted out something… but it was Marcus, he did that. “I envy you… I envy all the parents of all these kids here… even if they have passed… Can’t go a day without wanting to puke from envy…” He looked to his midsection, no direct place in particular, “I’m sterile ya know? That’s why I could make so many movies and was so popular. People hate the raincoat but birth control isn’t 100% so most actresses won’t finish a scene without one but with me… nothing was needed…”

He took a deep sigh, “I got this way from a wound… that I got from my ex-team while protecting that team… ironic huh?”

Just like a switch, his face changed to one of vacant wander again. He glanced above her head and pointed up, “Mistletoe.” Before Yokou could react, he was upon her,, his lips locked with hers once more. However, he knew that she was getting use to this and might not appreciate it… and her appretiation might come with a few pokes… to his chakra system. He’d had his chakra shut down by a Hyuuga before and that Hyuuga liked him… he didn’t want to know what one that was pissed at him would feel like.

He pulled away quickly and dashed over to the kids to begin playing with them.

"Eh?" The child skidded to a halt, swearing she had heard something odd. Pale eyes fixed curiously on the speaker: a boy probably older than she (ref: Elruda's 11). The green fire of the borealis brought her features into full vision: a child around Shinratsu's height, pale doll-like features similar to his, but her eyes...the colour of dragonpearls, tinted green-blue by the light of the borealis. Perhaps she was an Academy Student, but on a second glance...perhaps not...probably a Genin judging from the Amegakure no Sato headband (worn Haruno Sakura style) and her carefree attitude. Byakugan kekkai genkai...a child of Hyuuga.

The little princess trotted closer and tilted her head slightly, observing Tai. From her demeanor, from how though the other was much taller than her...the same proud way she held herself was very much like Shin's, making height a trivial difference. But then she suddenly smiled, a wide blooming grin like the blooming sunshine, and the brief royalty-like manner she held herself lapsed into something more casual. Elruda reached out a hand. "Hi! What'cha doing here all by yourself? There's a grand festival, right?"

Taishiroku noticed the small girl. His eyes looked past the silken strands that clinged tightly to one another infront of him. He noticed the dragonpearl eyes that showed no pupil, the soft tint of the borealis' light caused him to be reminded of his mother. Then something... struck him...

Her smile.

It was different than his... His contained no emotion as if to be a picture in a frame. But hers.. was sincere and heartwarming.

As she spoke he noticed her voice couldn't be too young. She had to be around his age if not younger. After a short while he had noticed the headband she wielded, she had to be genin if not higher rank..

"I am new to this town.. Festivals are meant to shed light upon the darkness of the year and bring hope but... this year it seems all lights of the festival are insignificant..

His cold breathe escaped his lips forcing a sigh into the air.

"I am Taishiroku. Who're you? and your eyes.. are you blind?"
