"Huh?" Sarah looked at Mercury Sedai, realizing she was being asked a question. She gave a respectful curtsy as she replied. "Oh, I'm heading back to my room with some notes."

Mercury paused a moment, debating on whether to ask her to check for Alina. She ended up deciding to do so. "I see; are you familiar with the Accepted Alina?" She hoped so, otherwise the search could take a while.

Maryela watched the exchange with Mercury Sedai and the Accepted. Yet another new face, but she was glad. It was always nice to meet someone new.

"Ah, I see. When you return, and should you happen to see Alina, please tell her that I and Mairyela Sedai are looking for her." Mercury said. It should have ended there, but the Keeper suddenly extended the request. "Afterwards, if you are not required to teach any classes, I would like you to return here and accompany us. What is your name, child?" she inquired, realizing that she hadn't asked.

((You can just go ahead and puppet finding Alina if you like, Katherine, since she's busy with her wedding.))
Mercury nodded. "Very well Sarah; we shall wait here for you." She kept the mask on, but for a moment was wondering what had possessed her to drag Sarah along with them to fix the town. It had been an impulse. She puzzled over it while waiting for Sarah's return, and then came to realize it had been her Aes Sedai instincts working without her knowing it.
By bringing along Sarah, she would remove any suspicion of favoritism towards Alina. And further, watching the sisters work would convince Sarah that the Aes Sedai could handle things, and that she needn't fear. Not that Sarah had looked very fearful to begin with. But in any case, if Sarah happened to tell someone of the sisters fixing the town, then eventually the trainees would calm down without the Aes Sedai having to visibly do a thing. Not to mention, it gave her-and Mairyela-a chance to become familiar with Sarah, who Mercury was sure she hadn't seen before.
((*sighs in relief for being able to explain the random invitation* Even in RPs, sisters have to be logical I guess.))

Mairyela watched Sarah, wondering how long she had been in the Tower. Not knowing the faces around her annoyed Mairyela to no end. The girl seemed very compitent; she could feel it from her. She would do great things with the Power.
Mairyela sighed. "Well, at least no one is in a panic anymore. It was troubling seeing some of the initiates in such a frenzied fear. They came here to learn to fight darkness, not have it appear on their doorsteps."

Sarah made her way to the Accepted dorms, taking a moment to drop off her notes. After that, she looked around for Alina. Upon finding Alina, she delivered the message and walked back towards the waiting Aes Sedai with Alina.

"Yes that's true...and yet ironically, that might actually be one of the best ways to learn by facing it. I recall the first time after being raised to sisterhood that I actually had to deal with Shadowspawn; I was stunned and I think only the training saved me. The girls didn't even have the advantage of their training to take over where shock stopped them." Mercury commented sadly. She quieted as Sarah and Alina returned.
"Very well then, let's go." They made their way to the stables, and Mercury had the stableboys get two horses for Sarah and Alina. She then mounted Aldeib, and figured Mairyela would ride her horse as well.

Following the group out to the stables, Mairyela asked for her stallion Symeon to be saddled. Once the group had their horses and were ready to leave, the Aes Sedai led the Accepted out through the gates, and towards the city.
Looking back at Sarah, Mairyela decided to fill her in as they went. "As it goes, today, Sarah, we will be linking our strengths together to help rebuild the city. Mersury Sedai has a special weave that will help tremendously. If you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask."

Mounting on the horse brought for her, Sarah looked over at Mairyela. "We aren't going to ask the Ogier for help? They helped build the city, and I'm sure they'd want to help fix the city given the chance, even if they are withdrawing into their steddings." With traveling having been rediscovered, they could be at the edge of an Ogier stedding in seconds.

Mairyela nodded. "It is true, they will want to know what happened to their city." Looking over at Mercury, she decided to come out with it. There was no hiding it any longer. "Unfortunately, the damage was caused by the Power. If the Ogier were to hear that, I am sure they would become suspicious of us, even if we are allied." She paused a moment. "Besides, the Ogier like to take their time in their work. Many people would like to get their lives back to normal as fast as possible. That is why we are going to link to rebuild."

"The city was created by both Aes Sedai and the Ogier working together, you could always try to get them to move quickly, besides, between Asha'man and Seanchan and who knows what else out there, what would make them think we did this to our own city?" Sarah shrugged. "I'm just sure even the best masons can't match the work done by the Ogier, and this city was built by Ogier, so the fixes might stick out."

Mairyela sighed. "It's true, fixes will stick out. It's just, we have to do this as soon as possible. After a few days, we may not get a chance." She paused a moment. "The Tower is in trouble. We're expecting an attack in a few days, and it would take at least a day to reach the Ogier, and by the time we would return, those days would have been wasted, and we would have dragged the Ogier into danger as well. What we can do in the time being is complete the most we can, for the people. Afterwards, though," she shot the girl a smile, "bringing in the Ogier is a wonderful idea. That may be a while, though."
