The Augmented Knight was right behind it, blades from each arm extended. The right one was raised for a stab while the left one was sideways, ready to disrupt Marco's block.

Paul hadn't stopped firing; any bullet worth its salt, phase or otherwise, will punch through a measly desk like it's nothing but paper. In the meantime he looked to Marco. "The heck?!" he yelled, keeping the fire coming single rounds at a time on the Aug.

Bullets bounced off external metal.
A round hit the skin of the arm. It tore open, revealing metal plating beneath.

((There are a few ways. He's not armored all over, and you could always use the Medieval Solution to armored plating.
Also, most magically formed things have ontological inertia, so if you make something magically but it has a concrete form, you can bring it into his REF.))

((Remind me of the Medieval Solution. Is it the one where you boil them, or is the one where they just freaking punched through it anyway? Because I know both are true.))
Paul backed up. Like the suppressor... Earth bullets, then.
He whipped up his iPod and started blasting high-power chunks of earth, like a massive terrifyingly powerful slingshot.
He also augmented it with explosive bursts of fire and tosses of air. He couldn't think of a way to use water for augmentation besides potentially ice, but that would take too much thought and time. Instead he just accelerated it to the point it would punch through steel.
((Because the gun totally ended the Medieval Era. So this one should too.))

"You know what?" Jacob said, looking at the smoke, "I agree with you, but..." he paused for a few seconds, "It's really gonna bug me if we don't check it out!"

Apparently he has this "Homework" thing.))
