Yes, Ven was now hiding behind a plant, "Ahahaha...um...I don't know...." He smiled nervously.

Styx twitched, "I'm going to rend someone to pieces." He snapped his fingers and went off. However, the plant that Ven was hiding behind tried to eat him. It had teeth and everything!

The plant snarrled after Ven.
Penn down at Gojyo, wondering if it was safe. The theraquad was hiding in the tree.

The plant snarled after him. It lashed out and tried everything to take a good bite out of the god.
Vayu peered out, "Should we help him?"

Vayu ran after the plant and slashed at it with his "toe" blades that just extended from between the big toe and the second one.
The plant paid no heed to the wind god and finally got Ven by the arm. It snarled and bit into him.

Vayu bit the plant, punched it, slashed at it, froze it, and even burned it. Nothing. "I'm out of ideas."
The beheaded plant was still chewing on Ven's arm.

The plant basically shriveled and died. It was still latched to his arm though it was dead.
"I wonder why we didn't think of that on the first try."
