After a few minutes of chatting, Kasiya realized that Surge wouldn't be returning anytime soon. She finished her lemonade and took hers and Bryn's glasses to a small table near the back and set them down. "We should get out of here," she said, stretching her arms and picking up Pikachu, who was running back and forth across the battlefield, having an imaginary battle with some invisible opponent. "He won't be back for a while now. He does this from time to time."
The two headed outside of the gym, and Kasiya looked around. "So what are you up to now? Do you have to head back to Pallet Town again?"

Outside of the pokemon center edgaro talked to abra.
"well what to do now that we have fired from team magma?"Edgardo asked abra whic looked at hik with an confuse face.
"ok i know lets go and collect gym badges"Edgarsdo told abra then abra nodeed with a happy face.
"ok we should go first to rustboro since people say thats the easyt of all gyms in hoen,its a long way so we should start right now"

Nina climbed out of the manhole and replaced the lid, setting Marill down and dusting herself off afterwards. "This... city is so desolate," she said, looking around. There was nobody outside that she could see, and it was ridiculously quiet. "I wonder if the citizens are under house arrest..."
Nina and her Pokemon wandered around for quite awhile, gazing about at the houses and a couple of tall buildings that decorated the area. After much searching, she discovered the city's Pokemon Center, and walked in it. She approached the front desk and was greeted by Nuse Joy.
"Welcome; is there something I can do for you?" she asked. Nina replied, "Yes ma'am. I was wondering, why is the security so tight in this city? And why is everything so quiet?" Nurse Joy's eyes grew a little big. "Oh my," she replied, "I take it you're not from here." Nina nodded.
Joy replied, "I see... that means you must have taken the underground path. Anyway, as of recently a group of people have basically taken over the city. They call themselves Team Rocket, and their leader, Giovanni has ordered that nobody leave or enter the city; I'm not sure why. I have also heard rumors that Giovanni wants to do something with Silph Co. That's one of the large buildings in town, where many products are manufactured."
Nina took in all of this information and couldn't reply to it with anything other than "Wow." Nurse Joy nodded. "Yes... it's hard to believe. Most people have been too scared to leave their houses... Others have been too scared to stay here anymore, and have found their own ways out of the city. Sabrina, the gym leader here, is one of those people."
Nina's heart sank.

"Normally yeah just in case he has another parcel for me to go deliver, or if he needs help with another experiment. It's what I do." Bryn replied
As soon as her sentence was finished her Pokenave rang.
"Hello...oh Hi Professor...what?...umm...ookay. You bet I'll keep you updated!" Bryn hung up from Prof. Oak and turned to Kasiya
"Say listen I just was told that I'm on leave to do some of my own experience on the field. Train Hunter some more the usual way. Since I want to test my theory that pokemon can learn just as much with training with their trainer rather than always battling. That building the bond with your pokemon is the best thing you could possibly do for them. Well that's just the start of it...there's more to come from learning more." Bryn hesitated "Would it be possible if I stuck around you for a bit?"

"Alright, that sounds okay with me," Kasiya said, smiling again. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do next, my friends did go to Lavender Town a few hours ago, but I missed the train again after chatting with Lt. Surge for so long. Oh, by the way, my name's Kasiya. Glad to have you with us, Bryn!"

"Thanks for giving me a name to call ya. Just so you know...I'll be studying you." Bryn said so non-chalantly. 'Maybe I should've asked...hope she takes it as a compliment like i intended...oh well.' Bryn thought to herself.
"Alright so did you want to hit the train this time round? Or did you want to go for a walk? Or do you need to do some shopping? As for me...I've got nothing really. I normally go from town to home to lab to home to town, and back again. Gee when I say it that way makes it sound boring." Bryn gave a half smile, and leaned down to pet Hunter to let her know that she wasn't forgotten about.

"Why would you want to study me? I'm nothing but a complete novice. There's nothing you could really learn from watching me," Kasiya said, watching Eevee chase playfully after a leaf on the ground. She looked up at Bryn, wondering why she was so interested in her.

"I can''t believe this," Nina said to herself as she sat on a bench waiting for Nurse Joy to come back with her Pokemon. "I ride a train from Blackthorn to Vermillion, I try coming to Saffron but get turned down by a guard, I take a twenty-foot drop into a dark underground path, I have to create maskeshift stairs to leave, I take a train to an eerie town, I walk in a sewer and finally get here, only to learn that Sabrina has left, not to mention that I abandoned my friends twice in doing so." She sighed.
"What else can go wrong?"

Bryn shook her head slightly and looked at Kasiya.
"What better way to watch the learning process go as i'm going through it as well? Why get an experienced Trainer...who could possibly be full of attitude, when a novice will be going through the same things anyways? More notes to take." Bryn stated.
"Did you get all that? I'm not all that great with explaining things...normally I don't have to unless its telling what I'm working on, how i got the conclusion and my conclusion." She explained some more

Kilik sat on a bench, now holding Eevee in his arms. He clutched the Pokemon tightly, however loosening to not hurt the Pokemon further. "Eevee...do you want to evolve?" he asked, scratching the Pokemon's head. It slept soundly, not replying at all. Not even a coo. He sighed, then looked at the backpack he set down next to him. "Maybe...if I do evolve it into a Vaporeon..." he pulled the Water Stone from the bag, looking at it intently. A bright shine came from it as the sun hit it. Inside the stone was what looked like a jet of water. Kilik growled, slamming the stone back into the bag. He stood up, holding the Eevee close to him. It shivered. "Come on..." he whispered, grabbing his bag and slipping it over his shoulder. His trenchcoat hovered above the ground slightly. He headed off to the Pokemon Center, hanging his head in shame.

"Nope, not that I can think of. We could always just walk to Lavender Town too. We may see all sorts of Pokemon and maybe even have some battles with other trainers," she said excitedly, still feeling slightly pumped over her win earlier. "Pikachu, Eevee, return!" She recalled the two of them at the same time, and clicked the Pokeballs onto her belt. "Heading east then, are we?"

Bryn watched as Eevee and Pikachu got called back...but decided against calling back Hunter.
"West we are bound. Let me guess...since you suggested walking...you don't have a bike now do you?" Bryn questioned.

"Back so soon?" Nurse Joy smiled. Kilik didn't say anything as he called Eevee back into its Pokeball. He placed the red and white sphere onto the counter.
"You were right, Nurse Joy..." he sighed, leaning against the wall. The nurse hadn't taken the Pokeball to the back just yet. "I didn't stand a chance...Eevee got beat...bad." His fist hit the wall behind him. The boy looked at the nurse.
"It's all right," she said, taking Eevee into the back. Kilik sat on the couch and ran his fingers through his hair.
"I was an idiot...going in like that..." His feet kicked the bottom of the couch.
