Only information I have to offer is I saw on the travian forum some people talking about the fact that the fewer troops an oasis has, the faster they build back up.

It begins resupplying around a half hour after you attack, but I'm not sure what the growth rate is. Starts large, and decays quick, from what I have gathered. Edit: This is assuming you've destroyed all of the "nature". As far as partials go, you don't really need to worry about resupply between your assaults if you have enough that you're seriously considering taking out the oasis, in a quick succession of attacks. At least, insofar as my experience lends itself.

Then I guess I ramp up my forces. EDIT: Recenter your map at (-25|156) and look at my environs. 5 unoccupied Oasi within 2 squares, 2 more at 4 squares. I'm figuring I'll try and claim (-23|156) first, for the blend of resources... but my puny forces need some serious beefing up before I can do much of anything.

You want that I should soften them up a bit? It'd be a 52 hour march, that ought to give you plenty of time to beef yourself up too, I'd wager. Edit: Thanks, Evil. Managing this 15 wheater will likely prove very complicated, but I think it will be quite rewarding. I'm just hoping I don't find myself regretting things and wishing I'd settled for a nine-wheater. We shall see.

I think I can probably manage that. March time is 52:02:31, for added clarity. Combat sim predicts roughly 26 rats, 8 spiders, and 11 bats left over after the strike, but that's likely not entirely reliable, as I had to guess at what a hero is worth in terms of raw manpower, and they may spawn a few more. I think that you'll probably be able to cope with that, though.

Tagra Nar Oi, got a message: Quote: derek64 06/09/07 ally 06:35:53 would you like RDA to be your allys? Personally I'm much happier with NAPs than actually alleigances... I'd rather not get drug into someone ELSE's war. That's what we've got our OWN power hitters for. smile

Tagra Nar Oi, got a message: Quote: derek64 06/09/07 ally 06:35:53 would you like RDA to be your allys? Heh. I smack one of their guys because he looks like a good potential farm due to his low growth rate, and another one sends an alliance request.
And unless my time conversion is off, I get this right after you get that...
Quote: Crama 06/09/07 no subject 09:36:52 you b*****d, i should kill you, bu i'll do that later
In all honesty, they're an alliance of people that grow rather slowly, and the only reason to consider a NAP with them would be to protect Cryllia and Sandra.
But, until a decision is reached, i'll keep Crama off my raiding schedule.
