Japanese is pretty difficult, mainly because of the vast amounts of Kanji. But you can learn quite a bit from the "How to" type books from local book stores, if you can't get your hands on a class. 3nodding

Mhm, people that take classes don't realize that it is VERY difficult. Sure you'll know like 30+ words if you watch anime but you can't use them in sentences.

Your Avatar is looking nice today. Hmm, ya know I haven't changed it in like a month... I've wanted to change it recently, but I really like the demonic gangster thing so I never end up saving. Every other day I'm able to look through my room mate's Japanese book and do some lessons while he's at school. I kinda wish I had homework or something though cause I forget a lot of the stuff.

Yeah, You're right. I know it's hard just learning it through lessons, but I can't imagine trying to learn without the lessons. Moreover, I know what you mean about losing the Japanese you learn. I have a friend who has been out of Japanese classes for one year and has forgotten a lot of his vocabulary.

It would be rather annoying having to stand and bow at the beginning of each class... and apparently the class rep. has to shout "stand, bow" since there's exclaimations at the end of the words.
Thinking back to Judo, we had to do that, but only on important days.
