eek *Hono grinned happily at the voice as she turned and spotted the familiar visage of a stranger who was an old friend too..* Kas... See Tell, sometimes you just have to have a little faith 3nodding
*Fiery red hair drifting around her in a slight breeze she gently poked at Tellus's shoulder* now go ask him to help you... before I manage to get the both of us into worse trouble sweatdrop
*Rave was very happy to see Vahn.. and hoped that he had gotten over that tendency of his to call her names xp .. but the little fire elemental was really wondering how she could sense the link to Sun still, and it was telling her that he should be right there... but there was no sign of the silly boy....*

"Mr Kasuga!" She had never been so happy to hear a voice in her life...well, except perhaps for Tersiel's but she was still rather thrilled and it showed as she turned around and flung herself at the figure, not thinking that normally he scared the living s**t out of her. Her arms wrapped around his neck and she got in one tight squeeze before, her arms relaxed and she collapsed once more, the spinning around the one last thing that had aggreviated the condition of her body once more. But she still had a smile on her face as she fell to the ground.

oh bother.... sweatdrop Tellus *she rushed forwards to try and help the other woman with a grimace* Kas, help please?
I shouldn't have dragged her out here even if I couldn't stand to be in there anymore stare *she was trying not to look at the pair of guards that she had put to sleep, as if hopping that she wouldn't get into any trouble for that little trick*

He stood there, rooted to the spot as she came in and pressed against him. His first reactionw as to shove her back, but he repressed the urge, since she wasn't really attacking him. Mr. Sensitive, he was not, and the skinship they were sharing right now was very strained at best, if not awkward. "Tellus....what--" And then she fell, his left arm slinging about her waist and accomodating her motion, evena s the right hand remained on the hilt of his flamberge. "Raven.... you too? What's going on here? Aren't you both a little far from home?"

Tellus came to..a little quickly for someone who had swooned from the heat, but all the other signs pointed to the fact taht she had indeed swooned from the heat."...mr...kasuga..?" Bright, luminous green eyes lifted to look into the golden hued ones of the man supporting her.
If one would look carefully at her, which to be honest wasn't likely, they would notice that her hair was turning almost white slowly, as if a spell had been cast and was in progress or something. Similiar to how a person with strawberry blond hair will go blondif exposed to the sun long enough...except Tellus seemed to be absorbing the heat around her, her body getting warmer and warmer to the touch. Not like Vahn type person would notice, what with being able to withstand massive amounts of heat and all.

Well actually Kas.. you see little Tellus here is in bad health, and she was hopping that you would be able to help her.. since it has a hell of a lot to do with her powers and very little to do with her physical health..
me, well I'm along for the fun of it mostly, plus we figured that Sun would actually know how to find you xp and I was actually looking for him... confused *she sort of leaned to the side a bit as if to look at Vahn's back to check that Sun was not somehow managing to hide behind the other man* Do you happen to know where Sunstrike is hiding Kasuga, I need to talk to him about a few things.. stare like why the hell he led me to this place when it is in the middle of a bit of trouble? sweatdrop

"I don't quite understand what you want..." He stood up again, and lifted up the extra weight in addition to his Fang. "I'm not in control of her powers anymore than you are."
Yellowed eyes closed as he nodded his head down to the two men. "At any rate, you should both come back to town." Running footsteps were heard, and Militia Soldiers came in with stretchers, having been following Vahn.
"You shouldn't have come here at all.... It's not exactly pleasent this time of year." His mood worsened the moment Sunstrike was mentioned. "I don't know where he is...."

*Rave looked very perplexed a Vahn stated this*but.. but I can feel him here.. eek
stare .. oh I am sooo going to hurt him....*It had just dawned on her that she had been tricked, that Tellus was right and Sun was someplace else. Now Rave could go looking for him, without much purpose now that they had found Kas, or she could stay with Tellus until the young woman was ready to head home, or someplace else...* oh well.. I might as well stick around and continue to lend you guys a hand wink
while I think of new and inventive ways to get even with Sun for this wild goose chase twisted *she chuckled and leaned down to lightly touch the two sleeping guards again* Rise and shine sleepy heads xd

"Do you think this is some kind of game?!" The volume in his voice suddenly rose several decibles, causing a few heads to turn, even as the fighter swept his arm to the side.
"Look around you, woman. People are hurt, people are dead." His eyes closed shut, as he all but growled aloud, handing Tellus off to one of the other men. The Fang reverted, in a flash heat, back to it's original state, where he promptly slid it into it's scabbard.
"I've already been in this city, Sunstrike isn't here. Why are yo ulooking for him?"

"M..mr...K..Kasuga.." Tellus weak voice came back from where she had been handed off. "This is my fault. I was trying to find someone to help me. I thought either you or Sunny could. "Her eyes rolled back in her head and she stumbled her balance once more in keeping upright before clearing her throat and continuing.
"Blame me if you need to blame anyone. I was a foolish child." the faint flush on her cheeks showed her embarrasment right before her hair turned stark white and the temperture of the desert which was already sweltering suddenly and sharply rose almost a hundred degrees, giving any normal mortal instant heatstroke, and possibly doing permantely damage if it wasn't stopped immediately. Tellus though was visibly shaking. "W...why is i...it...sooo...o cold?"

stressed s**t! *Hono jumped at Tellus, silver nails flashing as she wrapped her hands around the girl's arm and started to do her damndest to soak up the heat the way that she had naturaly been doing with the heat around them since entering the desert, looking at Kas in anger*
You think I don't care? stare ... I did my best for this place when I saw the flames eating it alive Mr. High and Mighty!* her voice dropped down to a soft whisper as she looked out of the corner of her eye at the other people around them, standing as straight as she could... trying to make her five foot, two inch hight with the boots, tall enough to stare at him with those chaotic eyes of hers* I used everything that I had to keep this place from durning down to nothing but ashes...and I will do what I can for the injured as well...*het hair was dancing around her in the heat, waves of red like leaping flames*
But if you think that I don't understand the situation, or I think this is a game because I try to keep the dispair and pain and hatred of the people all around me from eating me alive... then you do not know a damn thing about me Vanh... and you never will*Rave shook her head a bit almost as if trying to shake away the anger that had seeped into her voice*
I sought Sunstrike only to help the girl find you... She needs someone to help her get her damn powers under control, and I can only help with the fire and wind elements*She sighed softly looking away from him* I am sorry to have hindered you once more with my presence...
Tellus, you are leaking energy like a cracked damn... you must try and concentrate to get it under controle or the humans will surely perish....*she spoke softly, trying to calm the young woman, desperatly wishing she knew how to stop her from going out of control like this*

"Tch."
I've felt this before.... so this was him then. He stared down at Raven, watching as she held onto Tellus. He was only half listening to her words, not really bothering to pay attention at the moment.
Honestly, he would have loved nothing better.... but it was like he was being pulled half in and half out of this world. Something else...was calling.
Maybe...with this I can.... The resonation continued, even as the heat began climbing and climbing, his clothign starting to smoke.
"W-What's going on?!"
"It's like an oven!"
"Is it....Vahn?"
"Vahn!" Hibon came pushing forward, still wearing his Militia gear, and hauling a bad cast as well. His colored eyes watched as the area surrounding both Vahn and the strange women began to shimmer, a heat wave literally forming in front of his eyes.
Vahn remained unmoving, even as his mantle began to singe, even the great skin of the rocksnake giving in under such pressure. "Something has interfered with the seal. It was only meant to be removed when she came of age...." Lifting his right arm, he pulled back on the mantle, eyes closing as he steeled himself for what was to come.
It's time.... to use that power..... The seemingly ordinary bracelet that was there, became outlined violently in red. It drew upon the heat as if it were literally thirsty for it. Consuming it. Feeding off of it.
The bracelt began to meld with his skin, forming, and stretching, as if it were living liquid now. He hunched forward as the pain began to settle in, the stabbing sensations as hundreds upon hundreds of unseen "needles" lodged into his arm.
"HHUARGH!" Lifting his right arm up, there would be a black glove, and from wrist to fingertips it carried similar markings to the ones found on his greaves, as well as his sword, only these were much more elequent. And as each finger stretched out, the runes sketched in it would glow a brilliant red.
His entire right hand pulsed, like a second heart beating deep within his forearm. With each pulse of this firey heart, Efreet's Eye, as the orb had come to be called, swirled, or rather the image inside it swirled seemingly forming a fire storm within itself. It was a beautiful vision, the type that snags your eyes and makes you stare.
The heat that was being unleashed by Tellus was being greedily absorbed by the arm, the orb growing more and more brighter, nearly blinding.
"Those who can't control themselves....." He knelt by Tellus, and pressed his hand against her stomach, right where he had so many years ago. "...are a danger to even their loved ones. I know that now."
The heat would begin to die down, as the temperature was brought back down to normal. The marking upon Tellus' stomach would expand, becoming even more complex in design, before "locking" into place.
Inwardly, Vahn repressed the urge to literally vomit, as he felt an old feeling.... the feeling of his blood being drained.

On the remains of a nearby building, a pair of feral eyes watched.
"......."
The shadowed form gave one last cursory glance, before turning and simply padding away.

"E..efreet..." her body just as suddenly wracking with cold as it had before with heat. "S...soooo c...cold...." her tiny, delicate body curling upon itself as she tried to preserve any rements of heat that remained, the hot sun completely unaffecting her. It was as if the girl was in the center of a blizzard, wearing nothing but her undies. Her hair just as white as before, before it turned black as midnight. A color that had never before been seen on the Leviathan chilld.
She looked up at Vahn then. Her eyes empty, soulless. Cold and of the void. Before her right hand reached up and clawed at her arm, the vixen nails, drawing blood easily and quickly, before she clamped her hand down on Vahn's right hand upon her stomach.
"I need..."
before she slumped over, unconcious once more. Her body still reacting as if cold, but her skin warm enough to the touch to burn.

gonk *Hono let out a scream of surprise and then pain as the heat suddenly drained away and a cold that chilled her to the bone spread out from the smaller woman. Shivering and teeth chattering she staggered out towards Hibon, dropping to her knees and looking over her shoulder in despair at Tellus and Vahn* I can't help this... I can't get near them like this...
*Rubbing her arms in a vain attempt to warm herself Rave looked up in concern at Hibon and the others* Stay back... It is up to Kas to fix this mess now...
