Ithildae knew in her deepest heart that they were right. But that didn't assuage her fury.
She had already lost everything. If she died, what more was there to lose?
Then she heard screaming coming from the...Oplian side?
She looked up. Her breath caught.
"What?" she whispered.
There were animals on the field, and they were going after the Oplian soldiers. Strangely, they were ignoring the Belians completely.
"Who...?"

As Chronos saw the Oplians soldiers being killed by the animals, he orders the surviving soldiers to retreat and Chronos was the only one on the field. "Could it be a druid...?" as he look on the animals.

Eurogon opened his eyes and pain was retrunning but not as bad as moment ago. He took his belt and used little copy spell and made two copies of it and put belt back. He took nearby two branch and tied them up on his right leg and stood up by help of his wand. He walked at Jake and asked: "Is there anything new happened?"

After Moa made the comment about the person cutting him being a stranger, he instinctivly turned away from her as if he had spotted something interesting. He hated having to think about it. He had tried to drive it out of his mind, or hide it deep inside of him. Maybe I don't know him Jake thought. Then Jake did spot something interesting. Animals were attacking the Ophillians. The Ophillians were retreating. Jake smiled. Finnally this long, bloody battle was coming to an end, and once again, the Belians had won.

Ithildae looked around. The Oplians were gone. The battle was over for now.
There were so many dead...
War cost terribly.
One of the soldiers came up to her. "Lady...?"
"Ithildae. Just Ithildae." she said automatically.
"What are we to do with the dead?" the man asked.
She looked around again. "Bury them." she said.
The soldier blinked. "All of them?" he asked hesitatingly, looking at the dead Oplians.
"All of them." said Ithildae firmly. "All of them."
Most of the animals had vanished back into the forest, but a select few remained.
She walked towards them, fully expecting them to run. Instead, they came to her and nuzzled her affectionately, as though they knew her.
"Thank you." she whispered to all of them. "You saved us."

"Hmph... Those animals killed my soldiers..." as Chronos was watching them while he was on the top of a tree. Then a falcon swoops down on his arm, "Take this report on the Oplians that we're defeated." as he put a letter on the falcons feet and it flew.

Ithildae knelt among the creatures, whispering thank-yous to each and every one.
Finally, she rose and began to make her way back towards her friends.
Most of the animals went back to their homes in the forest, but some followed her in a small mob.
She stood at the edge of the clearing uncertainly, looking at the other three.

After an hour, the falcon comes back to Chronos with a new letter. As he read the letter his mind speaks inside "Follow them again?? We're still not finished in the mission huh... what do the Oplians wanted from them? I wonder...". He stands up and sighed, then follows them silently.

During the battle,Nerisaga spotted Malak.He was surrounded by many Oplian warriors.He faught them fierecely but then one of them hit him on the knee.She went to their direction.She knocked the remaining soldiers out from behind.Malak was badly injured.He was unconsciouss.She left him up on her horse and left the battlefield.She couldn't find anyone she knew she thought about her people's camp.She headed towards it and surprisingly she met some of her people halfway.They looked at her and the wounded man.She looked back in surprise.They looked prepared to war but she couldn't tell if they were going to help them or just to get rid of the Oplians in their side.
"His wounds need a healer,"she shouted.
"Take him to the camp.This is Malak,right?He's a Belian after all,"replied the one in command.
She was going to head for the camp but then she turned back."What are you going to do?"she asked him.
"Some of us wanted to help our fellow Belians anyway.They're the warriors with me.Then we'll see what we are going to do with traitors."
She thought it's necessary to go back to warn her friends so she handed Malak over carefully to the person who is responsible for the water supply during the battle."Take him to your camp.We have plenty of water there."She didn't wait an answer."I'm coming with you,"she said to the other warriors.
As they reached the battlefield,the battle was over.The warriors she came with decided to spend the night here.She searched for Ithalidae.She found her standing near to three wounded persons.Eurogan,the one she assumed he was Jake and the new girl.They seemed suffering.This battle had worn them all out."Ithalidae,what happened?Where are the Oplians?"

Eurogon went to Nerisaga and said with: "Hi." and lowered his voice and said: "If you haven´t noticed you have been followed and if you didn´t be right like you wouldn´t know. I don´t want anymore unnecessary conflicts. Plus I´m wounded so I can´t fight with full power." and raised his voice back at normal talking voice: "Anyway how many survived from this battle?"

"I haven't been followed.These are the original warriors I came with at the first place,"She took a deep breath and said,"It's too bad that most of you are wounded.Any Oplian on our side should watch out.We don't know what my people are going to do with you-or us who made an alliance with you."She looked more determined and said,"But don't worry!I'm OK and I'll protect my friends if anything goes wrong."

"Jake, it's okay, you don't have to tell me," Moa started to say, then she noticed the animals attacking the soldiers. Skezmeck whined and ran out to help them. They soon drove away all the Oplians as Moa watched in wide-eyed wonder. Moa sensed the animals anger and fear and excitment as they killed and bit and clawed. She listened to their voices and realized that they hated the war as much as she. They just wanted to end it. But one of the animals, a young buck, was enjoying the fighting, Moa noticed. Moa smiled, glad to have her gift to understand the animals. After the Oplians were fought away, some of the animals came over to Moa, sensing her power and nuzzled her.
"Thank you," she whispered to them. The young buck raced back into the woods, unhappy that the war was over.

Jake watched curiously as Moa thanked the buck as though it could understand her. "Can you talk to animals?" He asked her.
