Christy quickly dropped her hands to her sides.
"Well, I, ummm, I came too see how you were doing, then Tryel called and told me to meet Monty at the docks. And then we came here, only Monty saw Rhys, and left me, and then I saw Theonin in the hall, with, umm, her,..." she said, pointing down to the little girl.
"And umm,...So, Calista, How are you? Heh." she asked.

Christy felt her blood run cold.
"D-d-d-daughter?" she studdered, "Are you with someone else?"
Christy felt like crying. Theonin wouldn't do that to her would he? She decided it was best to just try and be nice, til he answered her.
"Hi, Aideen." she said, trying to fake a smile, "How old are you?" She looked at the little girl. She looked too much like Theonin to just be a sister, she thought, How could I have not seen that? Christy tried to stay calm. Boy, Monty was going to LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE throwning this at Christy.

Aideen's eyes are wide as she's suddenly the center of attention. Her cheeks heat up and shine red. "I'm six..." she says quietly in a shy voice. She reaches out and takes Callista's hand, smiling softly at the two.

Theonin smiled softly as his baby girl became the center of attention. "She's all I have left of her mother..." he said softly, gazing at Aideen. He slowly sat her back down. Aideen stood more at ease now, having had time to look at both of them and decide they were both nice. Even if Callista had a stone face, Aideen can see deep into people... something all children can do.

Calista gave a short, quick nod to Theonin as Aideen released her hand. Giving a similar nod to Christy, she flash a small, sad smile at Aideen before turning towards her apartment. A twinge in her arm, caused her to wince suddenly. Grasping her injured arm tightly, the pain clear on her face, she struggled to keep her voice and foot steps steady.
"Rachel saw that there was no ghost, thats why she was in a hurry." Calista smiled to herself at her reference to Rhys being dead. A joke that only she would probably enjoy at the moment. When she spoke again, her voice was strained.
"I have to get some rest now. I'll talk to you all later."

Grinding her teeth together in pain, she stumbled into her apartment and pushed the door closed behind her, not even checking to see if it shut all the way. Heading to the couch, she sank down with a pained sigh, and pulled off her sweater. The black tank top she wore underneath clung to her body with the chill sweat, and blood was showing through the bandages on her arm. Adjusting the filmy strips slowly, she binked rapidly, just wanting to go to bed.

Rachel slowed to a walk as she went down the street looking for Rhys. "I will not be blamed for this one... I am already gonna be in enough trouble as it is for Marcus." She thought to herself. Thinking about leaving with out even saying a thing to Lynn, she would have to sit down and explain things to her when she gets home. "What was Theonin doing there with that girl... Life is getting to complicated." Her mind was starting to drift, almost forgetting why she was out in the first place.

Christy giggled. She blew a bubble as big as Aideen's head.
"Beat that!" she said, winking at Aideen. She waited until Aideen was preoccupided, then grabbed for Theonin's hand. She was afraid to do anything else with Aideen around. She looked at Theonin and smiled.
"Thanks for telling me you had a kid." she said jokingly. She wished she had known though, if only Monty could see Theonin like this. She wished Monty could see how soft he could be. She tried not to think about it and just be happy. She finally though of a way to be alone with Theonin.
"Hey Aideen, How'd you like to play with my little sister Joyce, she has lotsa toys and I bet she'd share if you asked." she said. Christy looked at Lynn.
"Hello, I was just here to visit Calista, but I guess she's not in a visiting mood. This is Theonin, and his daughter, Aideen." she said, guessing what Lynn was thinking.

"You can stay with us. As long as Aideen would be willing to sleep in Joyce's room. And I'm sure the guest bedroom would suit you. Be warned. My house can be a little, choatic at times, but we have a good security system, and I don't think anyone would try anything anyway, It's Mathue Masseria's home." she said, a little worried about Aideen. She didn't want the little girl to see something like that. And she knew Calista was in no way getting up now. She looked down at Aideen and smiled.
"Do you have clothes? Or should we send Tyrel to buy something?" she asked, she could see Tyrel shopping, that she would pay to see.

Lynn's smile only widened when she heard the child greet her. Her head suddenly snapped up when she heard Theonin say her name. How did he...? No...she didn't want to know. So many unusual things happened in the Mafia, she could only guess he worked for Mathue. This suspicion was only confirmed and reinforced by Christy's presence.

Nodding her head, the smile quickly went back into place. He seemed nice enough. Though you couldn't always go by 'nice' in the Mafia. Lynn decided she would trust him, just be mere instinct, which did not often let her down.

"I see you already know my name. I suspect it's Mathue whom told you? Well, she's free to stay here. I'd be happy to watch her and I'm sure Rachel wouldn't mind." She looked back at little Aideen, "It's very nice to meet you. I'm sure it must have been horrible for you. How ever did you manage to get away?" Lynn spoke to Aideen as though she were a young lady, as she continued to smile at her. Her heart broke a little when she thought about a six year old girl having to go through something like that. She could almost relate to her...
