Smoothly parrying, thrusting, defending and attacking in turn, Liozu and the Dragon Fighter he was sparring against moved over the training ground. It was almost like a trance, if you let yourself become so immersed. Soft thunks from where the wooden practice swords thudded against each other, but Liozu could almost see the flashes of light dance on metal blades that weren't there.

Parry, half-turn, their hair being tugged by air and playfull wind. The Fighter's long ponytail swirling around him in a dark rope bound at the base of his neck, and Liozu thinks he almost recognizes it... The sunlight is almost watery, shimmering and dancing lazily. Sweat collects on skin and slowly rolls down, and then they've moved into shadow, drenched suddenly in cool air and the sword raises slowly above him, as in slow motion, hiss of rain on blade, and Liozu jerkes his sword in a half arc, meeting a sword... that isn't there.
"Hey, sir Liozu? I'm on this side. And just for your information, you're dead sir." The Fighter's amused, dark brown eyes crinkling at the corners as he taps his training blade against Liozu's neck.

Blinking, Liozu looked up, feeling as if he'd suddenly run a mile and gotten a punch to the solar plexus to boot.
"Huh..? Wha? Oh, yeah. Sorry. We'll stop for today, ok? It's too hot." Liozu laughed and grinned, slapped the Fighter on his shoulder and jogged away, waving a hand as he left. What the hell had that been? The cool corridors of the castle were soothing, but Liozu's still stuck on the strange deja vu like feeling, and can't really convince himself to return immediately to his room. So he wandered aimlessly through the hallways, feeling more lost in these familiar surroundings than he had any right to be.

Manda
Nash just sort of sighed and watched as the other argued with the Yokai Lady. He hadn't been here that long, of course ... but he got the idea that it wasn't going to work. "Let's just go," he finally said. He wasn't sure exactly when Jindra's rank was, but he was getting tired of this bickering and stalling ... if they were going to catch this damn dragon, they needed to get going. He then looked to Tenjou. "Did you have a mode of transportation in mind?" Then he glanced to Jindra, wondering if he was supposed to fly and carry the other. That would probably be fastest, unless Tenjou had something else in mind.

Tenjou just gave him a wave of the hand for the first responce. "I could careless. Just get to that dragon as fast as possible."

Thump. "Ahhhh~" A small pur came from Teioz's lips. His room, by his dem--request, was near a small outer castle garden, of where he could rest. He smiled as he put his hands behind his head and looked lazily at the sky. He had finished his packing. He only had a small rucksack full of items. So he was pretty much finished packing. "What a beautiful day~" He gave a small chirp to himself.

"are we almost there?"celia asked, out of a combination of eagerness, and her wavering attention span. she wasn't sure what she wanted to do more, go find the old journal, or rummage through all the magnificent old books she was passing by now.

Yoko had spotted Teioz and fluttered down to where he was. The tiny bird tilted his head a bit, and blinked, as if asking what the officer was doing.

Teioz chuckled and without even opening his eyes, he answered the small bird of which he sensed there. "I love the garden, Before I came to the dragon castle a long time ago, I used to live near a big lush forest and garden like area..." He told the small bird, as if knowing what it was thinking or asking.

Yoko made a small peeping sound, which sounded rather happy. he chirped again, and hopped closer to the officer, tilting his head from side to side, as if wanting conversation.

Blinking, He sat up a little, resting on one of his arms behind him as the other patted the small bird on the head. "WEll. What kind of conversation?"

She nodded, halting before a small and inconspicuous bookcase, half hidden behind the twisting aisles of tomes.

They were now at the very back of the large library, masked in dusk from the poor lighting in the far corners of the chamber. The air seemed thicker here, undisturbed dust and quiet mingling with the faint wards of protection draped around the books. It was this light sense of magic that belayed the innocent and even boring appearance given by the plain shelf and dully jacketed books resting on it. To have a charm, albeit a very simple one, placed in this magic-drained world was an oddity, even in the center of the Dragon Castle.

Aiketh hesitated, then picked a book off the topmost row. An almost unnoticable waver flickered in the room as it was removed.

Brushing dust off of its spine carefully, the Officer turned the obviously aged tome towards the girl. Peeling golden lettering was written across the cracking leather cover.

"'The Dragon Lord and the Demon Lord: A History of the Battle to Control Dusis. As penned by Cernozura, Chief Administrator of the Dragon Castle in the heart of Draqueen.'" She smiled. "I believe you were asking for this."

Nashorme nodded obediantly and bowed slightly before leaving the room, Jindra following him. Once outside, he turned to her. "I don't suppose you can teleport or anything like that?"

"exactally! oh thank you so much!!"said celia, smiling happilly. she'd been picking up peticularly on the amount of magic in the room, and the elemental stones she'd kept in her pocket were beginning to react. she carefully took the old journal out of Aiketh's hands, grinning almost from ear to ear as she did so.

"Arinas!"the tiny bird squeeked, giving off the indication that he wanted to know more about where they were going."coming too!!"he added, wanting to make it well known he wasn't about to be left behind if celia was going to be going somewhere.

She smiled again, feeling Celia's exuberance rub off on her. "Make certian you return it here when you are done with it. There's a copy of it in here as well, but this is the original. It contains more than just the writings which were recopied in the second version the castle had made. Lady Cernozura left a version of the World Map in the back of her journal, as well as several sketches of past members of the Dragon and Demon clans." She cast a glance around the room, as if suddenly recalling her other duties. "I'll leave you now. Be careful with it: Some of the pages are brittle."

"No, we can float but not for an extremely long time." The shorter youkai answered calmly, looking at Nashrome. "We weren't given that power by our mother."

"thank you!"celia said, immediately plopping down on the dusty floor, and begining to read.

He frowned slightly, thinking. Well, first he wondered who "we" was, but decided to just ... not ask. "If you can float ... can you make your body lighter for a while?" He shifted his wings a bit. "I can carry you, but it will be faster and easier if you're lighter."

Aiketh blinked, startled. She hadn't expected Celia to start reading it immediatly, without even moving back to the better-lit area of the library first. Shrugging it off, she left the other to their reading.

"We can make ourselves lighter." She nodded, seemingly both to confirm what she had just said and giving him permission to carry her. "... Not that we're that heavy, mind you."
