Shima Post 7 Shima happily tried her siblings treats, both so different and unique to whats she had picked out for herself. Dusting the sugary crumbs off her lips she then licked them off her fingers not wanting to waste a drop of the sugary sweetness. Smiling she threw her arms around her siblings waists pulling them both in for an awkward hug. "Come on guys! To the meat stalls!" Shima proclaimed, she was happy to have had her dose of sugar and now she craved the protein as well. Giving a grin she dragged her siblings in the direction of the vendors they had seen earlier. Well after Jerami pointed out where it was anyway. Jhena seemed to really want those meat on skewers so they would go get them.

Amari looked to Vepkhia and smiled at her, she was so adorable that he wanted to pinch her cheeks. The young woman however called out to someone he didn't regconize and he raised an eyebrow as he turned to see her.
How young was this girl? Amari looked to Vepkhia and then to Kelina and was floored. Kelina looked so young herself! A bit jealous he hoped he could look as youthful as Kelina did when he got older.
"Hello," He gave a bit of a sing song and wiggeled his fingers in a gesture of a wave. "We were just getting something cool to drink, your more than welcome to join us." He offered with a small laugh.

Kelina .|. Post 7A smile appeared on the woman's face as her daughter's friend appeared harmless, just as kind as her daughter in fact. Kelina relaxed visibly knowing that Vepkhia was with someone who was nice at least. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Amari." She took a sip of the drink offered by her daughter. "That is really good isn't it? We'll have to see if your father can make something similar when we get home. You'll have to try and remember how everything tastes so you can help him get similar fruits!" She gestured toward the vendor to bring her the same drink as the other two as she settled behind her daughter as they both enjoyed their drinks. "This tournament was definitely an experience!" She commented.

Vepkhia .|. Post 5"Okay Momma!" Vepkhia tried to take a closer look at the pieces of fruit that was floating in the drink as well as the taste and texture of each. If she was going to give Daddy a proper description of the fruit to find good replacements, she'd have to cover all bases! "Do you like yours Amari?" Vepkhia asked politely. "We will need to come to another one wont we Momma? And make sure to bring Daddy, Sissy, Vuvu and Vally! It's definitely been fun, I'm sure they would enjoy themselves too!" Post: 7He would have loved to seek Dris'rynne out in between his matches to just casually, nonchalantly, not super obnoxiously gloat and remind her that he was still expecting that kiss. He didn't, of course, because Teslaron thought of himself as a better showman than that. Better to let it build. He wasn't a loser, never thought of himself as one, and he certainly wasn't about to fail at the hands of any of these Fire girls they kept pitting him against. So he had nothing to fear by biding his time.
Though, Tes did find it absurdly difficult to entertain himself between matches. He didn't actually care how the rest of the fighting was going and had no need to watch other fall on their arses. He didn't like most of the people here, so wasn't especially keen on talking to anyone.
But he did like to eat and try new things. Despite reminding himself that he probably shouldn't stuff himself before fighting, that's what Tes did in his free time, rather than scurry excitedly back to the Shifter woman's side and practically beg for praise. Not that he would've done such a thing, anyway, but from an outside point of view, he could understand that it might look like it.
Regardless, he didn't.
And as he stood at the edge of the arena after his (somehow successful) final match, his eyes scanned the crowd and landed on Dris. If he'd wanted to go to her before, it was nothing as compared to now. But he could be patient. He never wanted to be, but he could be. Rather than join her up above, he merely quirked her a sly grin, dipped into a bow at the waist, shot her a wink and a kiss, and slipped back into the thinning throng of people now departing the arena.

Juno -- post 7
The rest of the festivities were a blur of activity. The crowds swelled as people wandered away from the stands, and Juno found himself tending to brisk business at the bakery's stand. He'd been instructed to get rid of all the pastries and cakes by the time the event drew to a close, so as to avoid bringing back stale goods, and so he was having to do more and more haggling to move the lot of them -- giving people better deals on multiples and that sort of thing. At one point, he sent an overjoyed Shifter packing with a whole half-basket of cherry buns -- a hell of a deal, if you could eat them all before they turned bad.
Then, when business began to slow down, he packed up the empty baskets and signage, then waited for the bakery wagon to come by and pick him up. All in all, he supposed it was a fairly exciting event... certainly the first thing of the sort that he'd ever encountered, and a lot less stressful (albeit probably less profitable) than an actual battle.

Draven Post 7 Giving a sigh that he didn't have to get up after all. Inspections could wait until later and he was too tired to move at the moment. Petting Nile's head, Draven looked out over the arena and towards the last of the combatants. Things were slowly winding down and he would be happy to head to an inn before heading home. Well back towards Matori. He would be headed north soon, towards Zena, but this had been a nice change.

Aqio Post 12 Aqio chuckled. "Yes..." he pulled out a small coin purse. As he did so the water male felt something chilly down his spine. He glanced over his shoulder, spotted one of the other trainees and let out a soft sigh. "I'll get this one, my treat." he gave Shesha a smile. "Seeing how I haven't seen you in a while..." He glanced back to the other trainee and mentally plotted several ways to make them feel a lot of pain. He leaned towards Shesha. "Mind helping me get a pest outta my hair? Oban male, wearing too much black and looks like he has a inferiority complex...thinks if he so wanted it. I would bend over for him." he looked at the other. "He can't do anything to you...if he tried, I'd just kick his sorry hide again. I've done it in every training session so far..."

Shesha Post 13 Shesha gave Aqio a glance through the corner of his eye, one eyebrow lifting, before he found himself wondering what was up with the little fish. There was a slightly odd look on his face, wasn't there? Something that had him curious... but since he didn't seem to want to share Shesha merely said, "Your treat, hm? I won't complain about that since I rather enjoy being treated to stuff." As he finally spoke up Shesha turned to him, glancing toward the 'pest' and then back to Aqio, listening as he spoke. After he stopped though he couldn't help but to laugh, "Ohh... you poor little fish... you're being bothered by that dull looking little whelp? No wonder you're making such a face." Stepping closer to Aqio he wrapped both of his arms around one of Aqio's arms, leaning into it, before he looked up at him and said, "As often as I rescue you from others with snuggles I think you really should owe me more then just one treat." Giving a little tug he started forward, "If he follows us I will deal with him in a non-lethal manner he can't trace back to us. For now how about we find our snacks?"

Aqio Post 13 "Its a promise..." he smiled as he paid for their small meal. Holding out Shesha's with a gentle gaze he enjoyed the male's obvious irritation. Aqio hummed as he started to gently lead Shesha away. "I'll treat you for the rest of the day. Sound fair?" He would let the other male lead and decide their path for today.

Shesha Post 14 Shesha's bright pink eyes seemed to shine with delight as Aqio offered to treat him for the rest of the day. That was definitely the best thing that he'd heard until now because it meant that he wasn't going to have to spend as much of his own money. He didn't get as much of that these days since he'd left Lady Alhana behind. Smiling up at Aqio he said, "That sounds more then fair, little fish. I look forward to you treating me for the rest of the day." He followed along after Aqio, wanting nothing more then to whistle du eto his pleasure over what he'd been given as payment for protecting Aqio from yet another unwanted suitor. He really was good at attracting those, wasn't he? What he really needed to do was find himself a good, rich patron that he was actually interested in. That was the way that Shesha did it. Well, outside of his present patron at least, but the 'old man' was special in that way. "Alright, little fish, let's enjoy the rest of the day and maybe chat about finding you a stalker that you actually like." He joked, grinning away as they went off to enjoy the rest of their day.

Dyakida post 5Peyla did not entirely understand the words of the question, but she got the intent. She chimed ferociously and reached out for the clearly sweet thing. She had, she decided, made a new friend. She alighted properly on his shoulder, chiming a few more rapid times, apparently in conversation... And then things happened in the arena. The sprite mimed a cheer - this was so exciting for the little sprite... Dyakida herself was making a brisk business, even without her sprite at her side to assist her. As predicted, the fighting set a fire in people's blood, and soon trade items were coming in for her weapons - items she could use in her craft. It was the final rounds, now, and Dyakida wondered which of her sisters had made it that far... and who would win...

Nuawahn post 5 The memories bothered Nuawahn, but not as much as the silence they brought. He had to break it. "It's okay!" said Nuawahn, reassuring the older man. Takoda... the name... was very familiar. Yes. It rang like bells in his mind. It was so lovely to have memories at all, good and bad ones. "It was a long time ago, anyway!" he forced himself to laugh, and the sound of his own voice cheered him. ---- Nuawahn eventually migrated to the healing tents to treat the injured and wounded. It was hard work, and not happy work, but it was also unequivocally good. He was helping people, and that was what he did. His magic was put to the use he intended it to be put to, and as wounds closed and dire fates were averted, Nuawahn could ignore the blood and pain. Everyone had had fun. Things were... good.

Nuri hummed, but didn't say much as he just looked Kresimir over. He was a shifter, and seemed a bit willowy for a fighter. Clearly it was his first actual fight, and he seemed a bit young. Upon his inquiry, Nuri shifted again before taking a break and speaking.
"I did well enough...although second isn't satisfactory." Nuri grumbled out slowly.
Shifting one last time, Nuri looked back toward Kres and nodded, "There's always next tourney, yes?"

Ondine
Ondine made her way to what looked like festivities, joining the cheering crowd in the make shift bar that seemed to be inspired by a wind man. Smiling brightly at the atmosphere, and forgetting the pain of her failures, the hybrid shifter slid near the man and took the drink willingly. She raised a glass, laughing as she nodded toward Carminer and took a sip.
"To strength, pride, and honor!" She called out suddenly, and a few around her cheered as well as she took her sip and enjoyed the bitter liquid.
She may have lost, but the tourney was still going strong and it was worth having a little fun!
