Mairi managed to get the sneakers off after a few tries, though she wasn't sure how to get the sandals on, as they were very different from what she was familiar with. Ah.... I have no idea how to put these on, Mairi said shyly. She was very aware of her shortcomings, even though she didn't often admit it.

Mairi blushed deeply as she shyly pointed at the pair of white sandals with an amber inlaid along the top of the foot. Those caught my eye, Mairi said shyly. She pointedly didn't mention the traces of chakra she could sense from the sandals, however, and she wasn't sure how to bring that up to Pyrrha.

I'll have to check. Mairi blushed as the worker nodded before walking away. She looked closely at the sandals but saw nothing special about them. Huh... odd, Mairi mumbled shyly. She noticed, looking closely, that the front half of the strap that ran around the ankle was reinforced. 'Why reinforce the front but not the back?' she thought before her ears twitched, catching the sounds of footfalls as the worker returned with two boxes in hand. Buy one, get one free, the worker said. Mairi's eyes narrowed, deepening to a dark amethyst-sapphire color. It sounded suspicious to her ears, yet she did notice that both boxes had 6½ on the end. She also noticed that the price was $18 dollars.

Mairi tilted her head, taking one of the boxes before opening it and removing a sandal. She lightly tugged on the rear half of the ankle strap, noticing it was firm but flexible. Maybe, Mairi mumbled intently as she drew her thumb over amber inlay from the bottom towards the top which caused the strap to loosen. She slipped the sandal on before sliding her finger down towards her toes, the strap drawing firmly against her ankle and calf. A small smirk crossed her face as she rotated her foot. These work, she quipped.

Mairi exhaled softly as she brushed her finger up the amber inlay, feeling the strap loosen before she kicked her foot upward in a standing split, the sandal arcing up and into its box. That work? Mairi said cheekily with a giggle.
