Cadence dodged her way through the chaos trying to avoid the monsters and losing an arm or her barrel when a chicken suddenly decided to land on the barrel of spirits she was carrying. It seemed strange to the apprentice knight, why would a chicken suddenly land on the barrel instead of flying away from all the distraction? Starting to pay more attention to the other apprentices around she noticed that there were an awful lot of chickens in this area.

Having finally made it to the bridge Cadence aimed the spirit filled barrel and tossed it, and the chicken that was resting on top onto the bridge with a load clank. The teen was surprised that the chicken did not fly off the barrel when it was thrown but if it weighed down the barrel and did more damage than that was a good thing then right? She felt bad for the poor chicken.
