Siliva snatched her hand away, "don't touch me!" She replied. She turned to see hana getting up from stinky. He didn't look so good. And he seemed to be staying put. She hoped he would be okay, if it wasn't conner she would stay just to protect him... not that she really cared... no... not possible... but this was conner in trouble, she couldn't miss out on this. She knew hana would let her fight, hana knew that siliva had power, power that needed to be released at some point to help her stay in control for a longer period of time. Otherwise it would build up, and happen at random like in the house two years ago. Ruji on the other hand looked to Evelyn with a shake of his head, "she will assit. She can get to conner, therefor perhaps help conner make a decition to come back with us. His friend is more powerful, then trusting his enemys, and with that kid it seems like he is a vary picky chooser." He started to move down the hallway, "lets get this over with while we can. But be carful... all of us..."

Hana lead the way with Silvea, only her knowing where Conor was. Kyle followed on directly after then, becoming increasingly concerned as Evelyn, Ruji and Hana were whispering to each other. He didn't like being kept in the dark. As the group made their way down the dank tunnels Evelyn had a growing feeling of insecurity. "They didn't notice us back there." Hana looked back to them. "The cell room had an aura lock around it. It's how you guys weren't able to tell that we were here I guess. Have you been in the temple for a while?" Evelyn nodded. "A while, yes. You know of this place?" Hana nodded curtly and looked forward again. "It's a Guardian temple. Like the main one, you know? This is very important to the culture? Sacred area. A lot of time and magic was spent on this place." Evelyn shuddered. "Magic." They all went down another flight of wide stairs that lead into a giant circular room with a pool in the centre, the whole place looking far too modern to be part of an ancient civilisation. River sat at the other side of the room, talking to Conor who was sitting with him. They seemed to be having a pleasant conversation, as Conor laughed. "Conor!" Kyle called out, and the two suddenly turned their heads. Conor instantly spied Kyle, and.. was it? "SILVEA!" No one had ever heard the boy shout before. Hana didn't think he was capable of it. The boy rushed to his feet and ran forward a little in excitement. River looked up and stood slowly, watching the boys movements.

Never had they two looked this excited to see eachother. Silvia almost glmoped him, as apparently he would have almost golmped her. Her tails spread around conner in a nuzzling hug, "I thought you were hurt when I found out the bad people had you! Are you okay! I'll protect you!" She replied looking to him with concern, everything would be okay now... right? Either way siliva didn't wana let go. But she knew she had to make a statement, and pointed to River, "that stupid man kidnapped me and aunty... oh and stinky too, but that doesn't really matter. We being inside this room with bars, with only a bucket for poddy! No food, or water, or or..." She hugged conner again, "I'm sorry I didn't protect you!"
It was so cute, ruji almost shed a tear, but would he let that show... only for a brief moment. Hopefully Evelyn wouldn't cetch his expression as it changed to serious towords river. "We're not going to let you keep Conner as a prizioner! Nor any of us!" He looked to Hana, "get the kids out of here, get them to safty!" He looked back to River, "Evleyn and I will make sure he dosnt follow or try anything." He failed to mention kyle, realized it and looked to him, "oh and... kyle you can stay too... we'll need the support. If your truly like your brother, you will recognize thigs he does that we cannot."

Conor frowned, and wouldn't let go of Silvea. Even if it.. kind of hurt to touch. He didn't wanna let go. "I tried looking for you.. I was gonna get in trouble.." He looked to her sadly. "You disappeared. I was scared you were in trouble." He hugged her tighter. "The man said he'd take me to you." He smiled suddenly. "He was right."
The group moved, ready to take action, but were suddenly stunted by River raising his hand. Evelyn scowled. "What?" River looked to them all seriously. "The child is yours." Hana growled, already shifted into her wolf form and standing over the children protectively. She could feel the immensity of power this other Guardian had, and yet she still took the front stance. River let out a small sigh and looked to the ground. "I mean what I say. The child is yours. I'm not going to put up any resistance. Take him home." Han growled deeper. "It's never that easy, what have you done to him?" River brushed some hair out of his face and turned. "Nothing." He stopped, looking at the wall. "It can't be forced upon the unwilling. Conor is just a child." He turned again, looking to them all. "Only when he willingly offers himself." He looked away again. "So leave." Evelyn's eyes thinned. Talk about an anti-climax. Was it really that easy? "Hana." Hana looked back and nodded, shifting back into a human and carrying them both back up the stairs to where the others were. "Lets get the ******** out of here before psycho changes his mind." Kyle focused on his brother, watched as River took one last look at them all before moving into another side tunnel.

*Ruji looked o the others, being the last to move, but then to Kyle, "hold up. Go we'll cetch up!" He motioned Kyle to follow River just a bit, "WAIT!" Ruji called as he came to a slide, "one question you must answer before we... just leave." He glared at the older brother, he knew this wasn't the last of him. "The liquid we found alover Conner when we found him from that Scentist, what is it doing to Conner? What is it for?" He spoke strongly, but plainly. He made sure kyle heard it though, so now he knew there was more too this. Ruji had a lot to tell kyle, and he made sure he would later. As far as Joch, he was still int he same place he was when Hana left. When seeing them in a hurry to leave, he got up and followed, but without a word.

River turned back to look to Ruji with a pained expression, he glanced then to Kyle. "You'll find out. Eventually." He shook his head, and turned. "It's not my place to say." He then began to walk away. "I'm not supposed to be in this mess." River was gone. Hana and the rest had already fled the temple, leaving only Kyle and Ruji now. Kyle stood at the top of the stairs, baffled at Rivers actions. Hadn't he been so malicious just an hour before? What was this now? Kyle let it all sink in. His brother was alive. He wasn't the last in the Madison bloodline. And yet... this didn't mean anything. His brother talked down on him. Even if it wasn't sincere it was still.. demoralising. He turned to leave without another word.

As they left, Ruji explained all the details of when Evelyn and him saved conner before. They mistakenly didn't think it was anything, thought it was a bluff really, or the child sweating. Now he knew it was more and he felt Kyle needed to know...
As soon as they were back at the castle, it was like the groups went different directions. Joch almost ran to his room, and started packing his things into a case to leave. This palce was too dangrious for a human like him, even if he wanted to stay in the end, he would get the people here hurt, but being the weak vulrable one that can be used aginst him. If they could get the child with ease, he knew he was sooner or later going to be on the same note...
Meanwhile Kyle, and the others took conner to Kirro, Ruji explained what happened, and finally he was standing outside the room leaning agins the wall, waiting on Evelyn. But trufully, he wanted to get out of there. Seeing the two children re-united, and they re-uniting with kirro and such, struck him deep. But at the same time, he didn't know why. He didn't understand this emotion yet. He understood love now. BUt this was something new, why was he filled with these thoughts. Why was something that never mattered to him, now bothering him. He wondered, was he sick? Possessed? Something had to be wrong with him.

Hana leaned on the doorframe to Joch's guest room.. which had become his room over the years. He wasn't a guest any more. That was just how things were. "What're you doing?" She frowned, watching him pack away his things. "Are you leaving? Why?" She was confused, why was he acting this way?
"Are you sure, Kyle?" "Yeah, I need some air." Kyle scratched the back of his neck and looked away. "Look after Conor. I'll be back later." Kyle walked out of the door, the first time he'd done freely in a while. Kiiro sighed, and Conor watched him leave. He wanted to ask what was happening, but that seemed too much of an effort. Conor turned back to his friend with a smile, hugging her again. "Don't get lost on me again!" Kiiro smiled at them both. Their friendship bond truly was adorable, like they were twins. In fact they reminded her of Evelin and Theodore in their childhood. And yet.. somehow it seemed Conor and Silvea's friendship was stronger. Indomitable.
"What's with the sour face, sour puss?" Evelyn snickered as she walked slightly into her room and sighed, taking off her jacket. "A bit of a.. crazy day." She looked to him again. "Seriously, what's with that face?" She stood and walked over to him and began to mould his cheeks with her hands. She chuckled. "Com'on mister grumpy."

Joch was going around the room throwing things into the pack. He didn't stop as Hana appeared, "I cant do this... I'm just going to get everyone here hurt." He zipped up the bag and turned towords the doorway she was standing in. A sense of panick inhis eyes, "we were put in a simple jail cell, and I couldn't even have the currage to try and get us out. What if other things happen, like all the storys about this place! I cant do it, I cant risk someone getting hurt because of me. I'll slow you down hana, I am slowing you down." He pushed past her to head down the hall, only to find Siliva come out of the room, but seeing Joch with his bags, "stinky?"
Meanwhile Ruji glared at her, "I'm fine..." He took her hands into his and moved them down to a lower level. But he didn't let go. He was obviously in tough thought. "... I'm experiencing a emotion I don't understand..." he finally whispered sadly. "and I don't know if I like it or not. When I see those kids, expechally when they are mistreated or forced to do something without a choice... it's never bothered me before but..." He blushed alittle and looked down, "I don't know what's wrong with me. What kind of sprit king, demon hunter can't look at a child and be able to walk away?"

Hana scowled and rushed after him, grabbing his arm and spinning him around forcibly. "What, so you're just running away?" Her voice grew angrier. "Like you always do?" She swiped her hair back from her face and looked to him seriously, reminding herself that she needed to remain calm. Too often had she gone on a rampage because of spontaneous anger. "You're never going to move on if you keep running away from the things that scare you." She pointed to his bags. "Why're you so worried about hurting anyone else here? Can't you see we've all been victims to our enemies at one point? Even the strongest members of our family have weak points that the people against us exploit. No one here is safe. That's why we look after each other, and why we all stay here as a family, no matter what monstrosity, race, or power ability we are. We protect each other. Because that's what family does." Her expression became a bit softer now, a face no one had seen Hana make. She was usually always so hardy and never let anyone crack through her thick exterior. No one saw what she was really like. "You're part of this family now."
Evelyn smiled warmly to him and kissed his cheek gently. "You're just a man, Ruji. Every man feels this way at some point in his life. I've seen it through the generations. Yuji, Shortstraw, Dante." She tilted her head slightly. "There's nothing wrong with you at all. Don't worry." She put one hand on his cheek. "You're telling yourself you would do better if the child was your own, so you get angry when you see other children not treated the way they should be.."

Joch when to speak out, but suddenly he felt Siliva hug his leg, something she wouldn't normally do either, "you can gooooooo Your our stinky!" He was now stuck. And looked back to Hana, "I..." He wasn't sure what to say now. He just wanted to melt away. He felt stupid, but then again he didn't have family, this was the closest thing he had, that's why he stayed all this time. "..." He tried again but instead slowly patted Siliva's head. "What am I suppost to do, when it's me standing on the other side Hana?" He asked showing his most sadistic side, but a voice to match. "When I'm the one standing there, and you are on your knees at a enemy. I've had nightmares over it, I wouldn't be able to do anything but watch you look at me until that final moment. And just thinking about it... it..." He looked away. Siliva looked up with water in her eyes, "please stinky stay... i'll be nicer... I promes." She didn't even say the word right thanks to her crackling voice. He shied and dropped his bag on the floor, "... i'll try to hang in here alittle longer... I just... family look after eachother, how am I, just a human who terrified of the world, look after your back. Or silvias, or anyone here. Im scared. I sit in that room by myself all the time, and dream about the horrors that could happen. And I couldn't forgive myself if something happened. But I do like..." He stopped and looked down before he finished, "i'll stay for you and siliva I don't have anywhere else safe to go either." He caved. He was staying. But surly it was a sad moment. Luckily, it was just the three of them as far as they knew.
Meanwhile Ruji looked to Evelyn with fright in his eyes, "how do I fix it?" He blinked. He was comfortable talking to Evelyn, especially when she was soft like this, it made him feel special because she never was like that to other people.

Hana frowned, looking to him sadly. "You never told me you thought these things." She put her hand to her forehead like she was evaluating herself. "I can be a little dense when it comes to how other people feel sometimes, okay? If you're feeling these things, tell me." She looked back to him. "I'm a pragmatic woman, I believe once there is a problem it should and can be solved. Just.. tell me when this stuff happens, all right? I'm not a mind reader." For a glimpse there was an image of a caring Hana who wanted to help the people around her but was often misunderstood as a whore. It seemed that children loved her so much because they didn't see her for her labels but for a person she truly wanted to be. "And you know there's more ways of looking out for each other than just fighting to protect one another. Look at Kiiro, for example. She's a pacifist. Chooses not to fight. And yet she's still valued. Xenia is a human without much ability, and still she was easily accepted within the family." She sighed, and looked away awkwardly. "I guess I'm saying you have value in your own respect, okay?" She glanced to him quickly and away again. "I'm glad you're staying."
Evelyn chuckled. "Fix it?" She put her other hand on his cheek and instead of moulding them like she was before, she just stroked her thumbs over them. "There's no cure, it's not a problem. You're just having certain emotions that every man will experience in his life at some point. I mean I guess having children of your own would be a solution but-" She coughed awkwardly and looked away with a small blush. "I mean.."

*Ruji blinked again, "I now understand more what shortstraw had said to me. Marrige, works to combine people and that it's a first step in some different cases... I do not have a ring to give to you." He replied confused wether or not he was suppost to say that or not. He shrugged, "And how does one... have children? I read in a book that they come in a storks mouth, rapped inside a sack." He blinked, "but I fail to understand how you tell the stork you want one, or how the child has the features of the parents they represent? Where does that stork get them from? Can we find one? Perhaps I should create a letter, and see if they are willing to provide there services." Yep, he no clue. It was cute though. In the end he smiled to evelyn, "appoligys. This was to be a happy moment for everyone. I do not mean to bring down the event with confusion and sadness. Thankyou for this talk Evelyn." he figured it was over, as soon as he seen her look away. She didn't like this subject, so he would not bring it up again.
Meanwhile Joch was now trying to pry Siliva off his leg, she ended up kicking him in the shin, giggling and running back to conner. Joch had to stop from falling down the stairs, but other wise he looked to Hana with one eye open, "yea..." He grabbed his bag unsure what else to say, this was akword. He slowly moved to his room and put the sack on the bed, and just stared at the empty walls. This was his home, he just didn't realize it. They did sorta treat him like a family. He looked back down to his bag, then held up his old travling map. He stared at it, forgetting the door behind him was open the whole time, and anyone could be watching. He tore the map into two halves, and balled it up tossing it into a corner. He was staying because for the first time, he was asked too. With real meaning, without someone wanting something in return. maybe this was the moment he was always waiting for, a home. A family.

Evelyn looked back to him with a chuckle. "It's best you know the ins and outs of having a kid before you think about having one for yourself, okay? I mean.. no you don't get children from storks.." She sighed but smiled. She didn't mind being the one to teach him all of these things. In fact over the years she'd enjoyed it. She stopped a moment. "Wait, did you just subliminally propose to me?" She thought he didn't understand the severity of the statement, even though she'd tried to explain it to him in great detail. She almost fainted on the spot, but used the wall to keep her steady. "Y-you.. don't be afraid to ask me anything you don't know, okay?" She laughed off the embarrassment. "I'm always here to help you."

Ruji gave her a smile, "I know thankyou. If not from storks then..." he blinked, "I should do some research then. Perhaps the "library" would be of assistance." He chuckled and nodded to evelyn, "I know you are correct. Being the matter confuses me perhaps I should wait. But if you can perhaps explain it to me, it would be much easyer. I'll pay attention this time... honist." He started to get sarcasm, well he had to be near Evelyn obviously. But yes, he basicly did say he wanted to marrie her. Shortstraw was walking around the corner when he heard ruji say it and hit behind a wall. He facepalmed, looks like the guy still needed some help. However to get guy time... well it was hard because they never seprated, and even if Theador found a way to get Evelyn to do something for a few minets, Ruji would only beg to be with her. It was kinda... romantic in a way. So he decided to use what he had since alone time wasn't a option. He appeared behind Evelyn and leaned, "looks like you should show him?~" He put his hands onto evelyns shoudlers from behind and leaned in, "Evelyn knows all about it, even helped a few times for other people to get there babys~" He chuckled. He was so evil, putting her on the spot. "A tail of two kittys continues~" He replied letting go and swininging around the guard rail to the steps as he walked down, "Ruji your suppost to supprize her with a ring, not tell her you plan to get one." He added leaving the scen. He wouldn't linger any longer, he knew it was there time to shine for eachother, not for him to be mettled in. He was happy for Evleyn though, to see her change, to see her happy. No longer did she feel alone, and different. And on a plus side, she had someone older then her, this made him laugh.
