He gave Alaska a thumbs up, seeming to get the suggestion of letting her bash on things for a while. This was a lot of work and he wasn't too great at hitting things.

Dakota saw Candace and Wilson after a surge of mermaids moved, Waving to them. Then he pointed to the mermaids and made a thumbs up grin face.

Congrats Solomon for doing a good job at defending. Now that she was free to attack without worry, the runes on her weapon glowed and Alaska swung. The spikes on her leiomanos shot out toward the mermaids.

An American ally had appeared! Grinning, she gave the dude a salute, and swum Stryker's golden chain. The bladed ball shot past one mermaid but America jerked him back quickly, striking her in the back as he returned to her.
