Lloyd kissed her cheek and held her in his arms at the waist. "This is going to be difficult after awhile, holding you like this." He chuckled, he did however agree with her. The blood knight would do his best to keep up the guise.

It was then he turned his head and blushed, whistling for Eclipse to pet him. "I've tried not to notice. I don't even understand, she's been feeding Roxane and yet they only get bigger."

Eclipse whimpered some, he was just trying to play with her and Lloyd. He instead went to go bother Scarlett and Roxanne instead. The hellhound played surprisingly nice with the small child.

Lloyd shrugged his shoulders. "Clearly it's working. I haven't seen such a happy, healthy child. Granted I didn't know any before her, but you get the idea." He said as he pressed the Paladin close to him.

"So what if they get bigger, you were never shaped like the other Paladin women and you're due for a new set of armor anyway. It may give me something to look at, but the baby is going to need them to be fed too."

"Maybe not, but I'd like for you to keep your title anyway." He gave her a soft kiss and smiled. Hopefully she didn't see any of his drawings, Lloyd did his best to keep it concealed at the back of the book.

Everything went smoothly for Lilith and Lloyd That was until 3 months later. Well, they were all surprised at how quickly Lilith's shape changed in such a short space of time compared to what it once was. While she wasn't huge, at this rate she would be...

At the moment, Lloyd was getting a parenting lesson from Scarlett. He wish he had learned this skill sooner. The child learned to roll around and sit up, making this once simple task all the more difficult.

"Why is she such a slippery child?" He asked her as he tried to keep Roxanne in place. It probably had to do with using too much baby oil on her earlier.

"Can't say I did. Too busy training for something I'm still not prepared for. Speaking of which..." Lloyd quickly scooped up the giggling Roxanne once more. "You're really not helping me at all like this, Roxy. This time, the diaper is going on you butt, not your head."

After five more minutes, the Blood Knight managed to get the diaper on the child. Granted it didn't fit as intended, but it would do the job. In his book, he did okay, poop will still land in the diaper right?

Handing her back to Scarlett, Lloyd could feel his head pounding. It was happening again, everything was going red...

The Blood Knight had to get out of the house and away from them, now. The blood lust, it was consuming him with killing intent. Images of the ones he cared about disfigured flashed through his mind.

Lloyd nodded his head. "I can hear his voice again, telling me to kill. Please stay away from me, before I hurt you." He commanded Lilith. He pushed her away, he didn't want her to get near him. The Blood Knight didn't want to harm her, it was his greatest fear to have his power kill the ones he held dearest. It was a very real nightmare.

"I grow tired of your meddling, Paladin!"

Lloyd forcefully removed Lilith's hands away from his neck. Or rather so, Mathias had done this. It amused him that the Paladin did everything in her power to prevent him, but he was certain she could not break the curse that bound Lloyd's bloodline. Her greatest threat would be Lloyd himself.

The blood knight pushed her away, taking a rock from the ground and cutting himself with it. The wound would be enough for Mathias to create a knife from his blood, much like the trick with the blood spear Lloyd had done so many months ago with his fight with Lilith.

Even pregnant as she was, Lilith remained a nuisance. Lloyd reached for her neck and began to choke the lives out of her. He could feel her continuing to build the wall, but what would give first, his will or hers?

"I'll end you first!"

Meanwhile, Eclipse began to bark and scratch at the door. He needed to go out there and help! He continued to bark at at Scarlett.

Eclipse made his escape and dashed for his masters. The cerberus made his way out the door and outside to Lilith. He barked for Lloyd to get off of her, smelling the stench of Mathias on him. With no response, it began to spit fireballs in a turret like fashion. It was a skill it was still learning, both to use and to control. To Scarlett's dismay, she would rather it had a problem with going outside to use the bathroom than to accidentally start miniature fires from hiccups or burps. The barrage did little except annoy Mathias enough to smack the puppy away.

"L-Lilith?"

Lilith wall began to take effect, as Lloyd's conscious began to reawaken. He struggled and fought against Mathias from taking over his mind. Her wall blocked Mathias completely and returned Lloyd back to his body just before her own life faded away. Immediately he let go of her neck and knelt down, looking at his hands. Those hands nearly killed her and his child.

"Lilith, I, this isn't what I wanted, I never wanted to hurt you again."
