His legs burned but he didn't stop. He finally made it. Reached the top. he turned back and waited a moment, surveying the rest of the group. he once again wondered if Olivia would was going to follow. it felt like ages since he had last seen her.
But who was here was the others from blue kingdom. He glanced at the sign, and realized. he had one more thing to give before the end. and this would be worst of all. hearing he could take, his voice could go, but loosing his sight? he gave once last glance at the other members, burning their tired images into his mind before plunging into the darkness. Screw you voice, you can't scare me off with making me loose everything, Andrew thought. He already had.

Mitsu was dying. The end was in sight though. Just a few more steps. Shun was just a step ahead of her trying to urge her on and she nodded trying to let him know she was coming. She tried to move. She was coming wasn't she? Her legs were just having such a hard time moving.

Jing felt as if the stairs were coming to eat his babies, even if he was fairly sure he did not have babies. Maybe they we're going to eat Nukpana. Make it stop.
Make the stairs stop.
Why did they keep coming? Why did they matter? She had to climb, but this was too much for her weaker body, and she fell to her hands and knees, shuddering as the pain ripped through her body. This was too much. So many stairs. She needed to push on, but why were there so many...
Something in her, though, took delight in the fact that The Voice echoed through her head, the anger coming through in its voice. Yeah. That's right. It was growing angered just because she had the bravery to climb up these stairs.

A pain was starting to build in his chest, something low and sinister. Wincing, the big man pressed his hand hard to his middle, not quite wheezing as he did so. Damn, but he was out of shape. This was not looking good.
