*Shortstraw quickly got some close as fast as he could and returned quickly. As he came in he tossed her the clothing, and looked to Asher, "I will be needing you to stay close and keep a carful eye." He nodded to keria, "i'm sorry i was'nt able to do anything... i had no idea... where to go, or what to do..." he sat next to her sadly, "i felt helpless."
Menawhile veria held up a finger, then quickly put a glove on her hand, before shaking the mans hand, "i might have some posion on my skin still, so i don't want o chance it. One last thing before i go." She looked serious, "the coat my sister wore, i need it. It is a my fathers, he personal passed it down to her. It's vary spechal. In return for it back..." she held out a snake, however not a living one, a golden little statue, "you can communicate and call me through this."

The Seraphim nodded to the other one and it disappeared. He looked back to Veira. "I see. A personal token. I'll have it brought to you in a second." The other Seraphim came back with the coat in his arms. "Is this the one?" The first Seraphim nodded and smiled, taking the coat off him and handing it to Veira. "Yes, thank you brother." He looked to Veira. "We know what this coat is. Don't worry. We would have shredded it with Kiera's other clothes otherwise. Made sure to keep this in a safe place." He took the golden statue and looked to it in his palm.
Kiera leaned and put her head on his shoulder, clutching onto the clothes and the blanket tightly. "It's all over now. No use crying over spilled milk. River probably wanted you to feel helpless." Mai took his head off her lap and went to go sit in the corner.

*Shortstraw shied and took a breath, "well he sussceded. Sometimes i think he only does what he does to mess with me." He chukkled and nodded, "But your right. It's over now. But we will need to be carful." He hugged her.
Meanwhile Veria nodded and happily took the coat, "the good thing is, my fathers coat is unusable to any other person unless keria hands it down to someone. So she's the only one who can actuly use it's abailitys." She smiled and looked up, "thankyou. To ativate that there, all you have to do istrace your finger fromthe tail up to the eyes, and i will appear. Now i must be off, i too have things to do, and a small familiy to put back together again." She smiled and teliported.

Kiera nodded and weakly hugged him back. "I'd like to.. rest. If that's all right. I feel out of it." Asher took her own place on the windowsill. She liked looking out of the window, and would do it often while the others were asleep. Dante hopped back into the room with a drink for Kiera and some snacks. "Not before you eat! You ain't gonna recover without food!" Kiera chuckled lightly. "Brother... You sound like Hikari when you say that." Dante frowned. "Do not!"

*Shortstraw laughed* "He's right though, some food is a good idea keria. We havn't really aten much." He nodded, "so what goodys did you bring!" He asked with a laughe and then he pulsed and smiled, "i almost forgot." He slowly got up for a momen to let keria get into her spot and the next thing he knew, he was holding ot a soul orb in his hand holding it out as if he was having a normal cat eat it, "just as promesed." he replied happily petting asher.

Asher was quick to eat it up as she grinned to him. "Ah, that hits the spot. I was feeling a little peckish after all that." Kiera rubbed her eyes. "I'm not hungry, Dante." Dante frowned again as he shoved the bag of goodies in her face. "But I brought your favorites! I'll eat it if you don't." Kiera smiled as she took the bag and peered inside. "That's not exactly the most healthy foods, brother..." Dante grinned and put his hands on his hips. "You wouldn't eat anything else." Kiera brought cookies and cake out of the bag. "I don't know.." Dante opened the cookie packet already, and waved one cookie around in her face. "Com'on sis, you know you want it~" Kiera scrunched up her nose as she put her hand over her stomach again. "Dante. I feel sick. Please don't."

*Veria suddenly appeared in the room, she patted Dontes head and sat beside keria. She placed the coat next to her, "Here. Also you siad you got slashed up a bit. I know you can heal and all, but you have been injected with alot of things today wether you know it or not. I need to take a look and make sure your bodys okay after it all..." She noticed shortstraw turn and look to her, however still petting Asher, "Veria... what about the curse you put on keria..." Veria smiled proudly, "it's perminate." Shortstraw lost his happyness right there adn became angry, his hand alittle ruff on ashers back even though he didn't notice, "VERIA!" She shrugged and looked to keria, "Do not worry. I'm tired of posioning you over and over. Since we are on the same side it shoud be fine. Now even we are connected, however you are the big sister... so i will not use the propertys the mark gives me... i promes that, unless needed in perdicuments, as a little sister not to." She giggled and looked to donte, "cookies? Really brother?"

Dante pouted and took the cookies for himself. "They were the only thing that she'd probably eat." He looked away. "But fine. They're mine now." He said as he chomped down a few at a time. Kiera looked to the floor and her head drooped, tired as she was. Mai was there to make sure she didn't fall onto the floor. Of course. "I don't care about the curse. It's fine, Shortstraw." Dante brought out the cake, halfway through the cookies. "Last chance sis. The cake is coming out." Kiera shook her head. "I'm fine, really."

*Shortstraw nodded, and looked to keria with a shie, "Me too... i'm also fine." He looked to veria however. He didn't like the fact that keria was cursed. That... was not good to him. Wether or not it was just viera, this gave her a sense of control of keria, if need be. However she did promes not to use it, veria mostly kept her promeses. He would keep an eye on her aswell. Makeing she wounldn't gain anything of keria this way. Meanwhile Veria nodded and let her sister lie fully down. She then put her hand on kerias stomach, the snake inside was still hidden, all this time. And she used it to inspect kerias body... meanwhile veria also colscted a blood sample and shortstraw suddenly stopped her hand, "Hold it veria..." Veria snatched her arm back, "Relax shortystraw geez. I need to make sure of some things. It's not safe with all she's takken in today. I need to inspect it." She stood up, "i will be back in a bit. Rest sister, donte you may come with me if you like. However for the time being you need to be with at least one of your older sisters." She replied, "of course i can always let you raid the fridge at home too."

Dante's eyes glittered suddenly. "And Hikari said that she was gonna go to the store today." He suddenly put the bag of goodies that he got for Kiera and Shortstraw on the side if they would want it later and walked to Veira. "I'm coming back with you. Hikari would uhh... wonder where I am. And stuff." Although it wasn't obvious enough already that he just wanted the food. Kiera looked like she was asleep, now, although she wasn't. She just was finally relaxed. She was actually afraid that she got herself and her loved ones stuck in prison. It was bad enough just her and Mai being there. But now everything was reasonably all right, and River was on the run. Besides, it would take a while for River to think of a new plan, anyway. She knew that much. So for now, they were safe.

*Veria giggled and took her brother by the shoulders and leaned down, "you know there are alot of things i could teach you..." she started as she suddenly teliported to the castle, where she let him head to the fridge as she went to her little hidden cave where she went the test hte blood sample, however she did tell donte how the secrite path in the hallway worked so he could go see her if he wanted. Just in case.
Meanwhile shortstraw sat down on the bed and laid back. he closed his eyes, "still don't have the house even started." He mumbled witha chukkle. "Then again... if we built it know River would probably distroy it becuse we put so much work into it. So it might be better off right now." He nodded to himself. "At least i didn't loose you this time. Even though there was nothing i could do..." he seemed troubled by that still.

Kiera rolled onto her side and hugged Shortstraw. "Don't think about that so much. You'll be doing exactly what he wants." She breathed steadily and hid her face. "Even the high security prison didn't keep us apart. I can make sure that nothing will get in the way-" She stopped herself and smiled. "We're safe for a while. We're now in the advantage here. Just think of that." She nodded as she nuzzled into him, tightening the blanket around herself. Asher watched the two at first, then looked back out of the window in thought.

*Shortstraw shied, "yea... i'll worry about it tommorow then." He chukkled and hugged her, "good night asher, keria, mai." And he was out like a light. After all, the worring and running, and armoring up and down was vary tiring in one day. But he was holding keria agian, that nightmare was over, (now for the next one. XDDD ) in the moring, maybe, just maybe they could get close to just ending the suffering. Maybe... probably not.

Kiera would be asleep for a while. Of course she slept more than normal anyway, but after the... interesting day it was obvious that she'd be exhausted. Asher watched over them, all night. As did Mai. Their animal bodyguards. Mai wouldn't be able to sleep anyway. He wouldn't let Kiera out of his sights again. Wouldn't let any more pain come to her. If he slept that gave the chance for someone to steal her away in the night. And he didn't trust that cat to look over them all. Nope, he would stay up all night, waiting for his master to wake.

*Hours and hours later shortstraw of course woke up first, it was about noon and he looked around only to find Veria laid agisnt the botteom of the beed alseep. He chukkled, knowing she too needed rest after all she had done. He then looked to Mai, "hey boy... you did get alittle rest right... you look tired." He looked to Asher then back to the Mai, then smiled understanding, "don't worry i'm up now she's safe. you go ahead and rest."
