Lucian slowly put an arm around Anastasia's shoulders "That is special. I don't think that I could do that, I actually use a person as my weapon. Or I guess more of an animal." He laughed a little.

Lucian frowned a little at Anastasia's response and nodded "Well, I hope he's ok." He said, a tinge of sadness poking through his voice. He couldn't imagine what it would e like for him to have absolutely no idea where or how a friend is, especially his partner. His smile returned to his face quickly as he pushed that thought out of his mind. He looked at her "I think Alex and Siberian are gonna be back soon."

Max nodded. "I see," he replied. That explained why she was alone other than her guardian. He wondered how she and Lucien were getting along. He frowned as he smelled a new smell, and the smell of smoke as someone new arrived. He looked over at Siberian. "Do you smell that?" He asked her.
